Feels much smoother now, not quite at the same level it was before, but i expect to loose a little performance, but yes from my personal point of view this feels better. I was also having some population slow down in 10.8 but 10.9 seems to have fixed that somewhat as well.

Same here, the scrolling on the new theme is stuttering and lagging on a relativly small system in my LB, tried it on Mame and it was a lot more noticable for me at least. My machine is not upto date, but still performs relatively well, and my image folders are on an M.2 drive.

http://www.zeldix.net/t2040-new-super-mario-land Note: This is a homebrew game, also when loading it can take awhile to actually boot up, so be patient with it. The rom required can be found on the archive.org (note the rom is now the 1.1 version, so when you patch the rom for MSU, make sure you use the 'NewSuperMarioLand-Msu-v11.bps' patch only.

I think you are missing the point i was trying to make. -

You also have to take into consideration other users that use the service, not all have unlimited download bandwidth, or are on slower connections, also but less than the previous is HD space. Remember once they tick that box to scrape that artwork they have no control over the ammount of images that download. So again please please stop trying to make things more excessive than they need to be. No way does one game require that ammount of screenshots. We all get you are passionate about doing things right, but from my personal view you are treating it as your own personal project, as as such want to mould it to the way you want it, and not take into consideration other users or the work that was previously done. I am curious about the 'Pokecommunity requirements' as you put it. As far as im aware this is the LB/BB community DB, so your notion that their 'amount required' are valid here is a bit puzzling. -

i also rejected a fair few.. please please just leave the DB alone, and only make valid changes, if you unsure ASK before making changes like that. -
i noticed with the new theme in regard to clear logos, If the logo is small when you select the game the text overlay swamps the logo completely. I guess this would be more of an issue with other language logos, where you would want to see the name. Just pointing this out, i personally have no issue with it, but thought i would mention it. Just adding to this, When you hover over a game the box with the options comes up then the game tooltip goes over the top of that. Not sure there is a way to fix that though

Took me a moment or two, but the change is real easy to do. BoxesContentView.xaml Lines 97/98 <Border x:Name="ImageTextBorder" VerticalAlignment="Bottom" HorizontalAlignment="Stretch" Background="#DD000000" Visibility="Collapsed" CornerRadius="0,0,4,4"> Change to <Border x:Name="ImageTextBorder" VerticalAlignment="Bottom" HorizontalAlignment="Stretch" Background="#DD000000" Visibility="Visible" CornerRadius="0,0,4,4"> I like the new theme, but i think the no text is situational on certain Systems. Would love to see this have a toggle for each system, im not sure how easy that would be to do though.
