Its live now, it installed here yesterday for me. So far i haven't had any issues with the new update and LB, added and removed systems as normal.

The pause menu covers a multitude of things All the extra media is accessible from it, from PDF Manuals, to OST's, artwork. and so on. The menus scroll Left/Right and Up/Down as needs be. @damageinc86 screens are just the basic settings, Mine are fully modded and customized with lots of media, to make it more complete. While its not greatly useful as such, for the collectors its pretty much a must, and allows easy access to the extra media that's not really displayed in a useful way.

@Jason Carr Sorry it was so long getting back to you, but you threw in a Beta3, so been testing it a lot. Just for clarification. i5 6600k 16gig. LB performance is now back on par for me with 8.7 (albeit a little slower switching between image selections, but its very minor, and not important at all with the additions i expected it.), but BB video lag is still very real, yet 8.7 still runs smooth (i used the same video folder for both versions to test). I even went as far as a fresh windows install and fresh Beta3 and added my systems again using the import function, not just copying the data folder over, and still the same issue. If you still need my Data folder, give me a poke on Discord or here. Cheers.

Platforms and Playlists can be in the Root as well, they are not tied exclusively to Platform Category's.

Finding suitable art for this was not easy, went with this in the end.

@Jason Carr Had some serious performance issues with Beta 1/2, LaunchBox would load and just be be blank for about 5 seconds, then populate, also in BB in Platform Category mode, Video loading was terrible to where some would take 5 seconds to catch up to what video to actually play. I rolled back to 8.7 and all the performance issue were gone everything really snappy and no issues in BB at all. Love the new feature, but for me the performance hit is too much, watching system monitor was seeing LB/BB spiking to around 80% cpu usage and staying that way for extended periods even if i left LB sitting doing nothing, took some time to fall off (this wasn't all the time). I would say maybe it was an issue my end, but rolling back to 8.7 fixed all the issues i was having.

Ahhh now that makes more a lot more sense to me, thanks for clearing that up. Ok i will take a look at it myself and see i can figure out what steam doesn't like, and maybe can come up with a fix. scratch that, unless steam knows what you run it will not work, only way i can think of is make the overlay global. But yeah you guys know far more than i do, so i will just bow out quietly,

My Rocketlauncher setup works fine with steam with Overlays perfectly intact. Not sure if you mean by itself or with this plugin, but i can assure i have full overlay support.

OK, well i didn't read the plugin info, so my bad should of done that, i just see Rockertlauncher mentioned. Anyone using RocketLauncher will pretty much have that as the only emulator in Launchbox, then in RL we setup the emulator(s) needed. I guess this plugin is null and void to a certain degree for anyone using RL, But hey i will give it a go and see what happens My steam overlay works fine using Rocketlauncher just for information purposes. And regarding how RocketLauncher works, add the games as normal in LB with the Steam Import, set rl as the emulator, then as the images above show you just set them up as a virtual PC Launcher system, then each game you just set its SteamID, and thats basically it. Everythnig works fine with transitions, rl's own pause menu and steams overlay.

I use RL here for everything including steam games, but i haven't tried this plugin. All i do is make sure you have an emulator is setup as PC Launcher and that you have ticked the virtual emulator option. Then assign that emulator to your Steam Games system in RL, then you will need to go to the module under that system and edit the module setting, add each game and set its steamid, takes a bit of time to setup each game if you have a lot installed, but once added even if you uninstall and reinstall at a later date you won't need to do it again. As an addition you can't audit the games to green unless you go the txt/fake zip route. Heres is some pics in case you need them
