  1. Hi! I'm trying to download a file from the forum and I get a message saying it can't be found. I'm talking about this file ->> https://forums.launchbox-app.com/files/file/1157-nostalgia-169-video-additions-set/ Could you upload this file again? I need to download some videos for my system. Thanks a lot
  2. Hello @faeran, is not that what I really want to know. What I want to know is which games from the Launchbox database are not in my games collection, that is, which games from the database are not installed on my system. Edit: Is there a file from the current Launchbox database that includes the game name and database ID? I have found within the Launchbox installation folder a game database file (xml) that includes the platform and game name, but does not include the database ID. If I had this information I could cross it with my game database file and compare the IDs to find out which ones are missing. The problem with game names is that the Launchbox database and my own database do not have the same names and it is difficult to know if a game is really the game it claims to be. With the information of the game ID there would be no problem in joining one list with the other. Does this Launchbox database xml exist? Greetings.
  3. Hi, is there a way to see a system's missing games compared to the LaunchBox database? Perhaps it would be a good option when auditing a system to show the list of games from the Launchbox database that are not available in your installation. Thanks.
  4. Hi all. First of all, I want to thank Jason as well as the rest of the creators of Launchbox / Bigbox for giving us the opportunity to users to be able to choose in some way the future of this wonderful program. I would also like to express my sadness at not seeing some options that are high on the wish list on Bitbucket and that have long been demanded by users. Options such as being able to have other Scraper sources (second position on Bitbucket) or see related games from other platforms (fifth position on Bitbucket) are not found in this survey and I don't think they will ever be found. It's a real shame, since I think these options would make Launchbox the frontend par excellence. Honestly, none of the options shown in this survey are of any interest to me, but I have decided to vote for the ones that seem less bad to me, even if they do not add anything to the frontend experience. I understand that the options most demanded by users have a high cost of work and that is why they are not put in the surveys, but it really is what most users want to see in Launchbox and I am sure that many like me would pay more money to see them implemented if this were the problem. Other options that are not so complex such as making the attraction mode not show certain platforms are not on the list either and although I am not a programmer I think that this would not be so complex to implement today by developers. Anyway, I think I speak on behalf of many users when I say that I would like to see features that provide good and practical functionalities within Launchbox and not so much minimal tweaks. Thanks again and good job.
  5. Hi @Retro808!! It actually works as you say. For it to work, you need to close Launchbox with the panel open at the new size. In this way, it maintains its size. If you open the panel, resize and close the panel and reopen it, the size is not maintained. It's what was happening to me. I opened the panel, changed the size, closed the panel and when I reopened it did not keep the size. The trick has been to close Launchbox with the panel open and its new size, in this way if it saves the changes. Thank you very much for your help. Now I do think I have the perfect theme.
  6. Hi @Mister Slimm I see that you have a lot of skills to modify Launchbox themes. Would you be able to solve this problem?
  7. HI @Mister Slimm, still having some issues adding this line. I think LBPlex is not compatible with badges.... It's a shame because it's my favorite theme. I guess I'll have no choice but to change the theme if I want the badges. Thanks for your kindly help.
  8. Thank you so much @Mister Slimm, but seems LBPlex need more config to show the badges. I followed your instructions, but have a lot of exceptions when launch Launchbox. ?
  9. Hi @Mister Slimm, great work on this theme. Is there a tutorial on how to add the badgets function to a theme? I would really like to be able to do it for the LBPlex theme.
  10. No solution for this? It's not possible?
  11. Hi Neil, when I modify the size of the sidebar it is not saved. If I close the sidebar and reopen it it returns to the small size.
  12. Hi Neil, thank you very much for your reply. I know you can make the boxes bigger but I don't want to change their size. Right now I have them configured to fit 6 boxes in each row when the sidebar is closed, so if I make them bigger this will deform. I just want that when I open the sidebar its default size is wider, nothing more. All the best.
  13. Hello everybody. I use the LBPlex theme for my LaunchBox created by @Grila. For me it is the best Launchbox theme since it is very minimalist and simple. I think @Grila has stopped supporting this theme, since it has not released updates for some time. I would like to make a small modification to the theme, but I do not have enough knowledge to do it. In the main view of the game boxes, when you click on the icon to obtain detailed information about the game, a sidebar appears on the right side of the screen where you can see all the details of that game. This sidebar is resizable in width, but its size when opened is too thin. I would like to be able to modify this value so that the sidebar does not leave so much free space between the information and the game boxes. I attach two images of how the bar now appears and how I would like it to be: If any forum theme designer can tell me in which file I can configure this parameter of the width of this bar when it open, I would be very grateful. Greetings to all.

  15. Thanks again, I saw this 2 post before posting, but there is no options to launch .chd games from Launchbox. Could be this is not possible.
  16. Thank you Neil9000, but the thing is what are the correct options to launch this chd games? This is what I can't find on the forum.
  17. Hello everyone, I am trying to configure my Demul emulator to launch the Naomi games and I have managed to run the Naomi 1 games, but I can't get the Naomigd games to work. I have the folders of the games named correctly with the .chd inside, but when launching these games from Launchbox I only see the screen of game selection of Demul and the game is not launched. If I launch the game directly from Demul, everything works correctly. What is the correct configuration to launch the games in .chd format with Demul from Launchbox? Thanks for your help.

I'm using this great theme. Will be updated to support latest Launchbox version with the new retroachievments menu? Thanks a lot for your effort!!!
  19. Cheked, and the problem is still here.
  20. Yes, seems to be a problem with gl video driver. I've tried to change it to D3D11 and whit this driver core launch with no problems, but speed is very slow... ? I think I need to wait for a solution to launch the Dolphin core with gl driver support.
  21. Hi, downloaded a fresh copy of Retroarch 1.8 and Dolphin core make crash retroarch. It only happens with this core, all other cores work fine. I was using this core since months, but now it’s impossible to play with it. Any suggestions?
  22. It is as simple as adding to each game a field called series for example or platforms and putting in this field a unique number that identifies all the games that belong to that same series or same game. For example, put in this new field to the game Cannon Fodder the number 12345 on all platforms where this game is. Then you just have to make a query that says which games have the code 12345 when you select the Cannon Fodder game on any of the platforms and you would have a list of all its variants, without errors. This is only one possible solution, another could be to make a query by name, but in this case as you well say there could be errors when having different names on different platforms, but still, in most games it would also be a very acceptable solution.
  23. Yes, and forget to see this feature in Launchbox like in GameEx..... It was a feature that nobody want in the latest poll, and was forget forever... pity... For me is the best feature of GameEx and there is no other frontend that replicate it, but it's possible to implement. The interest of Launchbox creators in this feature is 0, so as I say before, forget to see it in Launchbox.
