Just like @steveboura I'd like MAME to keep my controllers' configuration even when I unplug some of them. From what I read, MAME has a fix for this problem, and it's supposed to be this: http://docs.mamedev.org/advanced/devicemap.html. I tried to follow this guide, helped with this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YmjfwLuZ_X0&feature=youtu.be. But I encounter a "mame could not load controller file" message when trying to set this up. Does anyone here tried it too and found a way to make it work? Thank you.

Hi, I'm trying to import Project M aside from the original Smash Bros Brawl in Launchbox and I didn't find how to so far. The problem I encounter is that there is only a single iso for both games, the modifications are happening through the simulated memory card only. Is there a way to add the game without its own iso? Thank you!

Hi, I've been importing 630 Mame games through Launchbox (the All Killer No Filler list to be precise) but 5 specific ones are not added to my library when I try to import them: - Battle Rangers - Caveman Ninja - Guerilla War - LIght Bringer - Spot Does anyone have an idea why and how to fix this? Thanks!

HI guys, I like to order my games by genre but so many games are included in several genres and it makes the navigation tedious. Is there a way to force Launchbox when downloading metadata to only add one genre for each game (it seems that most of the time the last genre is the main one)? Thanks.

I'd like to disable the fanart showing up behind the list of games and the music playing whenever I click on one game. I find it a bit disturbing and I'd rather have only the details bar in the right. I searched in launchbox options but couldn't find it, is this possible at all? Thanks!

Hi there, I'm a new (and very happy) premium user of Launchbox and now that my setup starts to be nice, I'd like to share it with my friends but I don't want to give them the premium features because that would be uncool for the developers so I wonder if you think it would be fine to share a setup without the license.xml file? Hi, first of all thanks a lot Lordmonkus for your guides (this one and the others, I'm new here and it's a gold mine!). I tried the BGFX shaders and it's much better than naked MAME. Now if I want to try your HLSL setup, do I have to set the "OSD VIDEO OPTION" and "bgfx_screen_chains" back to "auto" before switching HLSL to 1? I guess it's a stupid question but do you know if your settings work fine on a 1080p VA screen? Thank you.
