ChaseHQ works very much OK, with mame. I even made a bezel with gear shift on screen. If u get error that files are missing ,then just find them.

I was just interested in that one bezel, its very well done. thought maybe i can find out author and might have done more in same style

After browsing throu ur files i noticed its kinda a mess in there. There is files u dont use in .lays and png's are there. Also u dont need real_clear and real_glass its just duplicate but with glass. Take only real_clear then use glass from root glass.png position it right on one layout, make new view with real_clear+glass,then just copy text info to others Anyway , it needs a lot of sorting and cleaning. if u do wanna sort all that, u should check some guides how to use notepad++ here is video i promised, i was a bit lost in video on some moments.. honestly i havent used explorer in .. pfft 20 or more years, not since Total Commander came out lol

@Reevesad its quite simple. No tech involved. basic text editing. Open notepad++ if u dont have one, u should have it. CTRL+F then in new window click find in files find what : <image file="horz_screen_bezel_glass.png" /> replace with : <image file="..\horz_screen_bezel_glass.png" /> tick "follow current doc" and "in all subfolders" point to root of ur themes press replace all. do the same for glass.png Now copy one of each of files to save location search and find those files in ur bezels and delete them done. ill post video in hour if u cant get it , need some errands to do

Hey! Do u remember who is the creator of that crazy climber bezel? P.S I just noticed that u are not utilizing MAME relative pathing for bezels? With relative pathing u could cut down size of ur bezel collection by factor of 10 if not more. From 5gb to 500mb and more. All that is required is to delete all duplicate glass /masks etc effects from every game and then put One of each in unified folder, and alter layout in each game to use it in its new location. Voila! example: <element name="Background"> <image file="..\glass_effect.png"/> </element>

@bundangdon Yes, i had it all setup on AM as well. Only thing i wasnt happy with in AM is lack of options for scrolling text. Otherwise its very easy to customize with squirrel. Right now , just waiting for @y2guru tool for some uber easy modifications P.S There is one thing , that needs to be applied here, posters are suppose to be interchangeable per game and they will be behind glass poster, should be either 2D game box or fan art. More customization to panels, auto hide , etc

checked items expanded is fine. Just not all. In case of tons of playlists it makes job superb tedious , edit>scrolls down ..ops missed it, scroll up..

@Jason Carr Do you think , you could make Parents categories start "colapsed" instead of expanded? Its really painfull to scroll or colapse each time when adding new item to it P.S That's playlists

All good now. recrated all my categories. Once i manually expunged them from xml's (Parent's /Platforms) Colapsed instead expanded categories could be more helpfull !

@Jason Carr Should i manually purge xml's ? I have collections and genres before update in it. Now i cant add new ones because it says it already exist. Refer to post earlier for more info, added image with error. It was the same in 8.8.1 and now with 8.8.2 --------- EDIT never mind, recrated all my categories. Once i manually expunged them from xml's (Parent's /Platforms)

Hm, i had collections in platform category platforms.xml still says its there, but neither LB or BB are seeing it.I also cant add anything to it any more since its not visible <PlatformCategory> <Name>Collections</Name> <NestedName>Collections</NestedName> <Notes /> <VideoPath>Videos\Platforms\Collections.mp4</VideoPath> <SortTitle /> </PlatformCategory> parents are also not seeing collections, but xml says its there i had it all ok before update <Parent> <PlaylistId>dc52b1a2-12a8-42e7-b0ce-2367c76d0986</PlaylistId> <ParentPlatformCategoryName>Collections</ParentPlatformCategoryName> </Parent> I can access collections from playlist in options in BB, but its no longer appearing in categories --Edit damn Genres are also not visible in categories any more and it is in xml <PlatformCategory> <Name>Genres</Name> <NestedName>Genres</NestedName> <Notes /> <VideoPath /> </PlatformCategory> Whats the deal here? I guess i have to manually delete from xml all extra additions from categories and add them again since LB is not seeing them.. P.S as mentioned in first post, LB is crashing upon deleting empty sub category

Hey! I am heaving trouble previewing ur cinematic's in launchbox , it doesnt seem to be loading (in download platform /theme videos) ? Any idea ?

each action should have 2 actions i believe, first one will create template, second one will after adding psd create output

@Robin55 Sorry man , i had my "beauty sleep" I am not sure if i noticed it ,maybe i wasnt paying that much attention, anyway that is kinda complicated, u need to find where in script at which moment problem happens, remove it and record new one or just record new movement after the fact before it finishes. So be kind to share so i dont have to search as well?Thanks!

@Robin55Sorry for thieving ur topic.. :) found out that crappy locked jpg files will not work with script due to being ..locked.. fixed that replaced with new script Sorry about that @cleverestMy man u can read what @Robin55posted and use it as guide. Short answer ,this script is for photoshop
