What theme are you using? Could you post a screenshot of what you're seeing? Alt + Print Screen can be used to just copy the window then can paste it to the forums post.

Yeah, that makes sense though since the games title was Goldeneye 007, NOT 007 Goldeneye. We don't do any checking for words being out of order

I've never seen anywhere that Epic Games tracks your time played. Is there some place in their UI to see that stat?

Open Task manager Go to services tab Located a service called "nahimic" Turn that service off Restart Big Box This should help the image issue at least.

If you're talking about making a plugin to display that in the panel anyway I'd just make a plugin that fetches you the list of games then you can pass it to an ItemsControl and display them in the panel. No need to constantly be destroying your metadata

I'm going to in the Big Box code the next few days working on getting the new Related Games features added, and see if we can get some bugs squashed. This one is on my short list to take a look at. I'll ping ya should any code changes get in so you can test.

You are correct in the assessment that the same DB ID is only compared once. We do this so that if you have a game locally, THAT metadata is used and NOT the DB item (and it's metadata). I'm not really sure I see that logic changing unfortunately. I can understand potentially why you'd like to do what you're doing but this feature was designed with the mindset that you'd only want to see each game once, and what you're doing is asking to see the same game several times in the panel which is counter to that logic.

Typically when settings don't save it's because of their being extra files in the Data folder that don't belong. I'd make sure you don't have backup files in your data folder that shouldn't be there.

Unsure what feature you're referring to. I would ASSUME you mean the new Related Games, and yes you can turn DB items off in options if you are a premium user

That may be EmuMovies being slow to respond. If you remove EmuMovies credentials does it still have that same problem?

Currently I'm fairly certain the only time we try to fetch achievement data in Big Box is when you open the game's achievement popup so at the moment there is not a binding that can be used to say a game has X of Y achievements like you see in LaunchBox Game Details view EDIT: Coffee OBVIOUSLY hasn't kicked in if I let @faeran beat me to punch...

Can delete the raw XAML files WITH LAUNCHBOX CLOSED, or inside of LaunchBox just right click the playlist and select delete from the context menu

As Neil stated, that theme doesn't SHOW images there. If you WANT a background image instead of video you will need a theme that does that for you. The preview images on the theme are showing a frame of a theme video playing in the background, that isn't a static image.

To do as Steams is referring to, select the games you want the media for (I agree Ctrl+A is fastest) then go to Tools Menu > Download > Download Metadata and Media.. and run the wizard to grab what media you want.

Closing LB on start of a game would break a lot of the functionality of the application. Thankfully most of the RAM when moving to a new application should be moved to the page file when running another application so while it shows the memory being used, not all of it is actively loaded to RAM when playing a game so SHOULDN'T see as much of a hit to the application. Though that process only happens when you NEED the RAM but it's not there so it may cause some slow down the first time it does it, but afterwards should level itself out. If you're not seeing it level out it may be worth while to increase your page file size via Windows settings.

Glad to hear you're enjoying the product and getting good use of it. The community as a whole is pretty awesome as well and really helps make LaunchBox FAR more than just the application so is always nice for it to get the high praise as well.

Your constant negativity probably doesn't help your case. It's the weekend as well so most of use this time to re-center ourselves and hang out with family, or take the rare opportunity to actually PLAY a game instead of stare at our library collection reminiscing of the good ole days where we actually got to play and enjoy the titles we've added to our collection. Regarding your particular issue as Neil stated a screenshot of what you're seeing vs what you expected to see would help. MOST consoles have default artwork for banners and logos, but if you looking for background or video those typically need downloaded and added. I know Refried has artwork in the forums, I'm unsure if they are included in the theme itself though. If you're referring to the videos that play while hovering over a platform, those need downloaded via the Tool > Download > Download Platform/Playlists/Category Video tool.

If you look the true vert theme I'm PRETTY sure I modified all of that. In that theme you will see several files in the view that start read "Options....MenuItemView.xaml" These view files dictate how those items are all rendered including font size. Pretty sure I touched all of them in the theme so should get you close to what you're shooting for hopefullly.

Are you downloading them from the website and manually adding them to your directory, or using the "Manage Theme" menu inside of Big Box to apply new themes? Also by "don't work" could you elaborate? What is happening that shouldn't be? Are you getting an error message, does the theme just not look like what you expect it to?
