  1. Would appreciate if we could get confirmation from a few users that WallView2 inside of Big Box (or any theme/view utilizing a FlowVideo) is working as expected for users if anyone has the time to hit it hard.
  2. This is unfortunately a known issue in Big Box 12.5. You can revert to 12.4 or upgrade to 12.6 beta 1 to correct this issue.
  3. You need to clear your Big Box image cache. You are seeing the cached clear logo for those playlists which has outdated information.
  4. Hmm not being able to find dependencies as well as having permission issues COULD potentially cause an issue. Though the version you mentioned you are on currently is on .NET Framework 4.8 (you are correct current uses .NET Core though) and so the dependencies are different between versions. Could you run command prompt as administrator and run the command "sfc /scannow" and then restart your computer when it's done and see if it helps. Also can you make sure none of your files or folders in either the LaunchBox directory or the MAME directory are marked as read-only and that the current user has write permissions to both directories and their sub-folders?
  5. Just switch the monitor to the correct on inside of Big Box. Unless you have custom command lines telling applications what monitor to launch on we let the emulator or game decide what monitor to start on so changing that setting shouldn't impact the startup monitor of your games.
  6. @PiperCalls could you confirm this corrects the issues you are seeing in your horizontal wheels? Make sure you clear the image cache after upgrading or you won't see any difference.
  7. I'm coming in pretty late to this conversation so this may have already been done. I noticed you mentioned that the paths weren't correct at one point inside of LaunchBox and was curious if you opened your mame.ini file and made sure MAME's rompath is correctly pointing to the same folder you have the roms in LaunchBox now that you've made the change?
  8. Currently the play tracker stops the playtime timer when LaunchBox or Big Box regain focus which may be causing the issue you are seeing. We are looking into ways to improve this functionality to be a bit more resilient.
  9. Yeah, would assume most people simply use the badges to easily identify what is or isn't installed.
  10. Can you hover over your platform and press Edit for me to bring up the Edit Platform window and take a screenshot of what that first page it opens to looks like?
  11. This basically means Direct X (what the application uses to draw itself on your monitor) tried to tell your video card to do a thing, and the video card sassed back and said no. TYPICALLY this is caused because of out-of-date drivers, or programs injecting themselves into your video buffer to do things like draw overlays on the screen. I'd do the following and see if they help you correct the issue: 1. Update video drivers (restart the computer if you do update them) 2. Open command prompt as administrator and type "sfc /scannow" (without quotes) and let it run, then restart the computer If you update your drivers the second step PROBABLY isn't necessary but really couldn't hurt if you wanted to just to make sure.
  12. Hey @BrainyCabde we see ya. Though right now I'm not entirely sure why you're seeing what you are. Did have a few questions for ya to hope and narrow down the cause to what you're seeing: When you get the wrong image, what is the exact value in the Platform field of the game? When you get the wrong image, if you open up the Edit Game window for that item, in the upper right should be a GamesDbId link, can you click that and tell me if you get sent to the correct game page on the GamesDB website? Have you changed the image path for any of your platforms? Are you scraping EmuMovies as well on import or only GamesDB?
  13. Another possibility is to display the Installed badge in the view using the new FlowBadge control (for any theme dev wanting to take this on)
  14. Make sure in the import you're only typing "santherus" (without quotes) and not the whole URL as I've seen some people do
  15. I'd have to know what custom field the plugin used, but it probably wouldn't be too hard to write a plugin that moved that data the appropriate field
  16. GOG Badge is assigned when the game has a GOG application ID associated to it. This is done via the import process typically but you can attempt to associate games via the Tools > Options > Integrations > GOG menu if you imported the game some other way.
  17. Sounds like it may be easier to implement something like this into a Pause Screen more so than the Startup screen. Could potentially make it so you could edit your notes via the pause screen as well making the whole process far easier to use (so you know you ACTUALLY use it instead of ignoring it lol)
  18. We are taking a look into this as we've seen a few reports of it now. I don't have any work arounds or anything for you right this second, but will let you know if I find anything.
  19. We read the registry keys Steam saves to and uses to determine the installation state of games on your computer.
  20. You'd have to be able to read the emulators raw memory AND know where to look to even get that sort of information, and it would be different for every game (and potentially every VERSION of the game) so building a system like that into LaunchBox just wouldn't be feasible. It is basically how most hacks/mods work so IS possible, but it isn't a simple task.
  21. Pretty sure the plugin used and added a custom field to keep track of the data, you would need to use bulk edit to remove that field from all games.
  22. Are you running 64 bit or 32 bit Win10?
  23. If you set the option to in Big Box, then yes it will. No, it just sets the hide field. Doesn't even hide them unless you tell LB or BB to (should be on by default though)
  24. The primary reasons title is no available in bulk edit are: 1. Doing so would make all entries the same name, which TYPICALLY isn't required (though I see what you mean about wanting all ports of the same game to have the title formatted the same) 2. Changing a title would then require changing all media to match the new title, which could take quite a bit of time depending on how many items you have selected, and how much media those items have
  25. I'm not sure how a beta update would do that since our installer doesn't touch your data folder. When you see the issue what exactly is changed in the badge menu?
