Hi @Coptimus, how are you identifying those games as missing? Are they showing up as missing in the games list when editing the playlist? Games are identified by the MAME zip file name, so perhaps the list is just incomplete.

Downloads are now back on our own servers, now that we have three different servers hosting the various services. All three servers are currently very overpowered for what they're serving (both processing and bandwidth-wise), so the only possible cause of slow downloads right now would be something between users and us in the Interwebs, which is unfortunately out of our control, sans for distributing the downloads via a bunch of servers in a bunch of different locations. We somehow had complaints even with Amazon S3, so I'm not sure there is anything more we can do. Glad to hear it's at least faster for you though, @Sir BLaDE.

Alright guys; it's that time again. I'm hoping to put out the official 7.8 release early next week (Monday or Tuesday), so now's the time to get the translations updated for the next release. Also, here are the release notes for translating: Playlists are now available for premium users! The arcade platform is now automatically split up into various playlists Platforms can now be custom sorted with a new Sort Title field Thank you all once again! @CliveBarker @AFaustini @Wattoo @Opak @dukeemu @cyanjiang @Bardock @MajKSA, I can get you that translation package shortly after the 7.8 release early next week. Badger me if I forget.

Beta 14 is out now guys; I have fixed a bunch of bugs, but really the only major change for this release is that images are now included for all the arcade playlists. You'll have to refresh your image cache in Big Box to get them to show up though, of course. Hoping to put out the official release early next week.

Thanks @Kriven; I'll take a look. Platform categories not showing playlist games is sort of by design, since I assume that platform categories should most likely have both playlists and platforms in them, and the games are most likely the same games between platforms and playlists. It would probably end up being a performance issue if I processed all child playlists at once and then merged them all together. That said, of course the playlists lists should be showing games just fine, so I'll load up your data and see what I can figure out.

Good idea, @diamondgeezer. It'll probably be a while before we can get to something like that, but that is definitely a good idea.

I'll take a look at the code and see if this would be easy to add. I'm wrapping things up for release, so I'm hesitant to add too much more new stuff, but I'll take a look.

Platform logos will be included with LaunchBox before the official release, but they're not there in the latest beta yet.

Playlists should definitely be working in LaunchBox; this is the first I'm hearing of any issues there. Can you zip up and share your Data folder with me so I can test?

Thanks @Pacman56, yeah; this would be a good idea and has been on my radar for a while. I don't see it significantly reducing bandwidth (the vast majority of the bandwidth comes from new users and new collections), but agreed. We should put that on the next poll as well.

That is a cool idea @damageinc86. It won't make it into 7.8, but I agree that it would be useful, so hopefully we can add it at some point here. I'll probably put it on the next community poll.

I haven't added any fields for prototype or homebrew yet, so unfortunately we still need to wait on that. I can take a look at the genres here soon. Thanks for all your work, @Evil_Orko.

Thank you guys for helping out with all that crap. There is a plugin I can install to eliminate it, but unfortunately it ends up causing issues for people trying to register (basically it blocks certain known-spamming areas of the world). Did a wonderful job of blocking spam, but blocked too many legitimate people lol.

Thanks @andrewburge88. I tested this again earlier today and wasn't able to replicate any issues, unfortunately. Are you getting any error messages when you try to go full screen?

Yeah, certainly. I have to prioritize popular requested features (like the stuff from the last poll) over things like that, but yes, hopefully we'll get to a point eventually where it makes sense to start implementing more of those kinds of things.

Keep in mind that you're gonna get errors from time to time if you use the betas, so stick with the official releases if you would rather not deal with that stuff. I'll look into that error though, thanks.

No worries guys. Unfortunately this probably isn't common enough currently to come up with a dedicated solution for it, but it should certainly be possible using either Additional Apps or AutoHotkey.
