  1. For bezels see my earlier post in the thread.
  2. Do you know if the real machine skipped the menu screen when a cartridge was inserted?. If not, then MAME can't.
  3. Re the bezels. See the "Unified Bezels Collection" and also the "Handheld Bezels Collection" in the LaunchBox Downloads. Both have system bezels for the Tiger Game.Com. The ini files are for RL but you can do an RA ini or a MAME lay file and use the bezels with those.
  4. Version 1.0.0

    61 downloads

Note before downloading: 1: This is for MAME only and is not compatible with RetroArch. 2: If you've previously downloaded and set up the "MAME Atari 5200 Software System Custom Artwork File" (the one that uses the Themed bezels), then there's really no need to download this. You just need to add the SA bezels to your existing a5200.zip overwriting the Themed ones; the bezel names are the same. Your original custom parameters are valid. If you decide to download then read on. This custom version of the Atari 5200 Software System artwork file, a5200.zip contains a multi-view lay file configured to work with the "bezelprojectSA-Atari5200" bezels pack. Any game associated with the pack can be set to display it's own bezel at launch. Games for which there are no "bezelprojectSA-Atari5200" bezels and therefore use Default Command-Line Parameters will open with the generic Atari-5200.png bezel. The bezel png images are not included, so you will need to download the pack and drop the bezels into the artwork a5200.zip yourself. You will also need to set LaunchBox Custom Command-line Parameters to allow MAME to choose the correct bezel for each game. This is explained in the download. With MAME, your Atari 5200 game names and their bezel image names do not have to match. Once downloaded, unzip the file MAME_Atari5200_SA.zip and read the enclosed text files. Meow!

  6. SegaSonic the Hedgehog (sonic.zip) was a 1993 Japanese arcade game. A 32X port was planned but cancelled. I have it in my MAME collection for some time now.
  7. I can't speak for Retroarch but Watara Supervision works in MAME itself. No bios is required and the default LaunchBox MAME Associated Parameters are svision -cart Supported game formats are bin ws sv and games can be zipped or not.
  8. LaunchBox custom parameters override the defaults. If your default parameters are, say -keyboardprovider dinput -skip_gameinfo then you would need to include those in the custom parameters. Or you can permanently set them in your mame.ini file. I don't use the LaunchBox pause screen feature, so I really can't say if you need -keyboardprovider dinput included in LaunchBox, if you were to configure it in the mame.ini file.
  9. Click the Emulation tab in the Edit Game window , enable the tickbox and type your parameters.
  10. Version 1.0.1

Note before downloading: This is for MAME only and is not compatible with RetroArch. This custom version of the Neo Geo CD Software System artwork file, neocdz.zip contains a multi-view lay file configured to work with the "bezelprojectSA-NG-CD" bezels pack. Any game associated with the pack can be set to display it's own bezel at launch. Games for which there are no Bezel Project bezels and therefore use Default Command-Line Parameters will open with the generic SNK-Neo-Geo-CD.png bezel. The bezel images are not included, so you will need to download the pack and drop the bezels into the artwork neocdz.zip yourself. You will also need to set LaunchBox Custom Command-line Parameters to allow MAME to choose the correct bezel for each game. This is explained in the download. 12. @Kmetz7547 VTech CreatiVision emulation requires full keyboard emulation to work correctly. At startup, full keyboard emulation mode is enabled by default and this is the mode you use when playing the games. To get access to MAME's UI keys partial keyboard emulation is needed. You can toggle between The keyboard emulation modes with the Scroll Lock key.
  13. An alternative to using a game ini is to set a custom command line parameter for the game in LaunchBox like -nokeepaspect or -noka Of course, this will only work when the game is opened with LaunchBox.
  14. Periodic price increases are a necessity for quality software that is constantly being worked on like LaunchBox. However, the period between announcing and implementing the increase (Wednesday and Friday) was a bit short.
  15. Hi @mohanned85 So your two Platforms Amstrad CPC and Amstrad CPC 464 are now working ok using the parameters cpc464 -flop1 for each Associated Platform. You can leave things as they are, or you could merge all the games into one platform if you wish. I don't know how many games you have in your Amstrad CPC 464 platform and you may have many duplicates with your Amstrad CPC platform.
  16. Then you should replace the meaningless parameters cpc -flop with cpc464 -flop1 I don't understand why you are using 2 separate platforms for your Amstrad disk games.
  17. MAME supports the three Amstrad software lists cpc_flop cpc_cass and gx4000. Have a look inside one of the game zips in your Amstrad CPC platform and see what the game's extension itself is. If it's dsk then try the parameters cpc464 -flop1 If it's wav or cdt then use cpc464 -cass If it's bin or rom then use gx4000 -cart
  18. There is no software system called Amstrad CPC as far as MAME is concerned and the parameters used are meaningless. Here is the full list of Amstrad machines supported by MAME (non Amstrad clones not included). Amstrad CPC464 Amstrad CPC464+ Amstrad CPC6128 Amstrad CPC6128 (France, AZERTY Keyboard) Amstrad CPC6128 (Sweden/Finland) Amstrad CPC6128+ Amstrad CPC664 Amstrad GX4000 Amstrad PC20 Amstrad PC2086 Amstrad PC2386 Amstrad PC3086 Amstrad PPC512 Amstrad PPC640 What games have you in your Amstrad CPC platform?
  19. The Game Park 32 and the Hartung Game master both work but not great in MAME. The gp32.zip bios should have 5 bin files inside and, if your version of MAME is recent, it also should have a 6th file named x2c32.jed in order to work. The Game Master needs the rom gmaster.zip which should have the file d78c11agf_e19.u1 Your first Associated Platform doesn't make any sense as the software system Amstrad CPC and it's parameters cpc -flop don't exist. The Amstrad CPC was actually a collection of home computers such as Amstrad CPC464 Amstrad CPC464+ Amstrad CPC6128 (a clone of the CPC464 in MAME) Amstrad CPC6128+ Amstrad CPC664 (a clone of the CPC464 in MAME) and the game console Amstrad GX4000
  20. It looks to me that MAME cannot find the bios, or the game rom is invalid, or LaunchBox is passing MAME a game path but the actual game is elsewhere. I keep all my bios roms in a subfolder named bios which is in my MAME roms folder and this is what my MAME ini rompath looks like. rompath roms;roms\bios;roms\chds;roms\device;roms\software
  21. My mistake, I misread things haha. So it's the systems that use a bios that are refusing to work. If you have a full MAME games set then the bios files will have come with it. If not, they need to be sourced. Taking the Entex Adventure Vision the bios is advision.zip and it should have these 2 files inside b225_ins8048-11kdp_n.u5 b8223_cop411l-kcn_n.u8 See if you have this rom and check it's in a folder (normally MAME's roms folder) that your MAME ini file's rompath line is aware of. If all this is ok and LaunchBox is pointed to your Entex Adventure Vision games they should launch.
  22. Your Associated Parameters look ok, and your Associated Platforms naming seems to be correct too at least going by the last three which also show in your Platforms Sidebar. It's very unusual to have so many MAME software systems not working. I have or have tested quite a few of them and they do work. Just wondering if it's a common issue. Some of those systems do not use a bios such as Casio PV-1000 Emerson Arcadia 2001 Funtech Super Acan Watara Supervision It might be worth getting those to work first. Do you have the bios for any system that needs one, and does MAME's ini file know where they are located? Is your MAME ini file in MAME's folder? Which MAME are you using? Also, can you post an image of the Details tab of your Edit Emulator window?
  23. I've just updated from LaunchBox 10.9 to 10.10 and experimented with the Blur Amount and Blur Fade sliders. I notice that changing the Fade works straight off, but changing the Amount needs a LaunchBox restart in order to take effect. Is this normal or am I not doing it right? I'm using the original Bad Old Monkey theme.
  24. @mohanned85 I'm not in discord. Regarding the Videopac+, I forgot to mention that a device is also needed called ef9340_1.zip Sorry about that.
  25. Many thanks for your work @dragon57 That was quick!
