  1. You could probably make a bat file that uses RoboCopy (which is built into Windows) and any time you made a change you could just run the bat that would copy the source to the target. Once you had the syntax for the bat file it would be pretty simple.
  2. you wouldn't need to copy the whole build just the things relevant to what you are adding so any media for the platform and the xml files for the platform still could be kind of tedious.
  3. You will have to update both unless you use some type of sync software or some other solution to keep them in sync
  4. I have them as their own category under the Pico core they work fine
  5. I personally have no interest in any of the features being discussed.
  6. @wirtual82 is a banned user @Jason Carr so doubt he will be sending anything

    Retroarch

Seemed there was two of the same post for this so I deleted one of them.
  8. You could try creating Symlinks of you media from the HS folder in your LB folder from my understanding of reading about symlink the linked files can have different names but still be linked so if LB was to append a number onto one of the file names in the LB video folder it wouldn't change the name of the file in you HS folder. Here is a link to a HTG article on Symlinks https://www.howtogeek.com/howto/16226/complete-guide-to-symbolic-links-symlinks-on-windows-or-linux/
  9. you can go to one of those specific platforms in LB select all games and then go to the bulk edit wizard change the platform name then close LB go into your LB folder and go to all the specific platform media folders ie Images find the one you want and rename it to the new platform name that you want. You would need to do this in your Music Video and Manual folders also for each platform but its faster than going through and editing each folder inside of LB.
  10. That I don't know I guess you can use a tool like CLRMAMEPro but I don't have any experience with that personally. I know the ROMs are updated every month on the last Wednesday (so the 28th of this month) on PleasureDome just Google that name with ROMs in the description and it should take you there.
  11. Newer versions of MAME support more ROMs then the old one but the people at MAME are constantly revising the ROMs as they get more complete dumps or they add more things to the dumps like the QSound files that have been added then revised even further for the CPS2 ROMs. The best thing for this is to have a matching version of the emulator and the ROMs.
  12. In the future if you run SFC and it reports corruption then the next step is to run DISM which will fix you Windows image since you reinstalled already won't help you much now but here is link that explains how it works if you ever need it in the future. https://www.windowscentral.com/how-use-dism-command-line-utility-repair-windows-10-image
  13. I think you can set up different cores with different controllers but I just use the same controller for everything so don't really have an experience in setting it up.
  14. I do suggest using RetroArch for most emulators that it covers.
  15. try running sfc /scannow from an admin level command prompt to look for Windows corruption
  16. @Jason Carrhas a GDPWin2 maybe he can offer up some insight
  17. LOL its the sound of da police coming to get you for illegally using that sample in your video

    Nested playlists

you would have to be in the Platform Category section and then you would just make a top level category and then if you wanted to make more categories for playlist you would make them and nest them inside of the Playlist category you just created as far as I know nesting only works from the platform category section not in any of the other ones
  19. Also to add for anyone else reading this thread there is no CHD for this or any of the Hikaru games
  20. The Hikaru version should be located in the full MAME set.

    Hardware questions

I can run Cemu fairly well with a GTX 750TI with i5 6500 CPU
  23. yeah if you have a game for the original GB there is no way to magically make it full color.
  24. yeah I figured that I just remembered reading about this a while ago and mistakenly assumed it would work with all BB themes is all its still pretty cool either way.
  25. Licenses can be installed on as many PCs as you own. We'll assume that you bought your sons laptop and ultimately you are the owner of it so enjoy.
