  1. you can leave LB on C and move all of the assets to your other drive but I'm not going to lie depending on how many systems you have it can be a pretty lot of work and you have to move each category per platform individually. To do so you just go to manage platforms edit the platform you want go to the folders tab and begin moving things to the folder you want. You can also do this by moving all the folders and then creating a symbolic link back to the original location this will have you assets on your data drive but LB will think they are in C the only issue with I believe is if you add new images they will actually be put in C and not on your data drive.
  2. your paths are different your emulator is in Emulators Retroarch and those cores are in Downloads Retroarch
  3. Is your platform named Nintendo Entertainment System like the associated platform is listing and not say NES
  4. Really with that tone I don't know why anyone would even try to help him at this point.
  5. This works great once you have it set up and working with one system adding the next one is as easy as copying any ini you have and renaming it to the next system you want to setup then adding the system to the associated platform section of the emulator. I probably won't be switching over to using this from my main emulators but it is nice to have as a secondary option. Thanks for sharing your finding with the community its greatly appreciated.
  6. Okay I did get this working just as quick pointer to any one I would suggest after getting an initial ini for any system you just copy it and rename it to any other systems you want to use this will keep you from having to add the -rp tag and the path that goes with it.
  7. Can't get it to work tried a bunch of different stuff oh well. 1st a few questions why does example one not need the -rp tag and path added in. Should I be pointing the path to my rom paths or my bios paths because in this case the bios are in my MAME folder but the roms for the system Atari 5200 are in their own folder (I did copy the bios to the rom path at one point but still isn't working) I even tried feeding the a5200 both paths but still wouldn't open.
  8. cool interested in seeing what you have found
  9. lol okay then 700mb of RAM on a machine with 16gb is like next to nothing but if using the older version suits you then that is great have at it.
  10. yeah chd or even the mame specific software list roms are only required in MAME if you want to launch from the list in the UI when using the command line MAME if pretty versatile in what it works with.
  11. Next in my experience and from the feedback of most users is quicker than LB ever was so if you are seeing slow down that is making it unusable don't know what would be causing that but isn't a typical response that we have been seeing.
  12. Are you seeing performance issues or just that it is using more resources?
  13. My bad see them now in the misc list.
  14. You don't need any bat files for the stand alone emulator you just need to check a couple boxes in the emulator settings general tab I'll have to check which ones. Using the MAME no CHD versions is pretty easy and you bypass the initial long loading time of the chd versions of course fast forwarding help out a lot with that in MAME.
  15. Congo Bongo and Gauntlet for the classics list
  16. It's not a bug ? but it is something that a lot of users aren't happy with hopefully Jason will figure something out to change it. I know I for one don't like how it looks and other users have commented on it also.
  17. Any way you could record a video of it in action preferably one shot from your computer and not taken with a cell phone but if that is what you have to do that will work also.
  18. well since Atari Classics are for Atari Arcade games it wouldn't show the boxes like the Atari 800 does as they don't have boxes it might show the flyers if you have them but I'm not sure as I don't use those playlists myself and if they aren't coming up when you cycle through then maybe it doesn't show them.

    CD-i emulation

I don't emulate CD-I although I've done some minor testing in MAME and I thought I would add that if you are having issues with disks there is the MAME Software List CHD pack available on PleasureDome that has a CDI folder and has a large number of CDI games. The whole pack is over 2TB but you can opt to only download the CDI folder when you set up the torrent.
  20. No if you want to see a progress bar uncheck that option it will prompt you when there is a download and if you select yes then you will see a progress bar. It would kind of defeat the purpose of being automatic in the background otherwise.
  21. no it doesn't include all of the files you need there is a completely different set on PD it will be the non merged softwarlist files its completely separate from the full arcade set. The options will be Intellivision Intellivision II Intellivision keyboard voice cart a few Intellivision options will be listed in the UI after typing it you want the plain Intellivision option.
  22. Those instructions are for using Intellivision through LB if you are only using MAME you just open MAME and when the interface comes up type Intellivision and it should be an option then if you have the roms its looking for in a spot where it is looking for them then they should be listed in a sub menu after selecting Intellivision. Do you have the MAME software list games if not then that is probably where your problem is happening. While MAME can load games that aren't part of the official MAME set through the command line it requires their specific game pack to use from the UI.
  23. always use FF and it works fine for me also even with Ublock enabled.
