  1. You can just go into the update folder in LB and run the 2nd to last update again in the same folder and it will basically roll back to your previous version without overwriting anything other than the exe files.
  2. why does PCSX2 need backwards compatibility when there is perfectly good PS1 emulators?
  3. To err is human to forgive is divine so I forgive you for being mistaken?
  4. CHD was originally made for MAME but many RA cores now support them including the 4DO core.
  5. Seems like you already answered that question then.?
  6. Also if you had a issue with 1803 that doesn't make it terrible as you are one user. Even those on the Nvidia forums are a small portion of the user base. If it was a major issue it would effect millions of user and there would be hordes of internet users wielding their virtual pitchfork. Sometimes the updates cause conflicts with programs and the software provider has to update something to make it work with Windows or you may need to look at updating a driver or two. Sometimes things get corrupted in the update and you can roll back and next time you update the install will be smooth and the problem goes away. Saying an update is terrible because it effected your system in a negative way I guess is understandable because at the end of the day it only matters on how it runs on your computer but it also doesn't represent the truth of the situation in the whole.
  7. yeah older versions of Windows 10 didn't not get patched to except 4.7 (that is how the make them obsolete and force you to update) I believe you have to have at least 1703 but it may even require 1709. I'm also on 1803 (and actually past that due to insider preview) and I haven't had any issues.
  8. I don't have SteamLink so its hard for me to say so not sure @Zombeaverany clues on that
  9. also having the MAME.ini inside the ini folder and not in the root folder has been know to cause issues with MAMEUI builds so you may want to move the file out to the folder with the .exe
  10. Well depending on how he updates it might be an issue later down the line as in if he does it the same way he originally did it. I'm not sure on that but Charco said he's done it so I assume so (unless he means he added them manually one at a time) not sure how LB will handle naming games that weren't on the list at the time may just give them the short name may not add them at all as they don't exist in the version of MAME it is using even in unchecking everything may get you no results for games it can't identify at all but like I said I really have no clue on how that goes as I've never tested it.
  11. I've seen that behavior of the scrolling when you have use Z axis scrolling checked in the LB controller settings turning it off will fix it in some cases.
  12. LaunchBox currently only recognizes up to either the 0.174 or 0.175 set so any games add to MAME after that are not recognized by LB any games promoted to working since then will still be seen as nonworking

    Mame CHD's

looks like the CHD set has shrunk as it's only 440 GB now
  14. DOS76

    Mame CHD's

well the chd set is over 500GB and the nonmerged set is only around 120gb so simple math says no they are not included.

    episode game

You would add the other episodes as additional apps right click the game go to edit go to the additional apps tab and then add each episode now if you right click the game the episodes should be listed there
  16. Does MAMEui64 work on it's own or just not through LB? If the issue is just in LB make sure that the MAME.ini file is in the root folder and not the .ini folder
  17. I don't think the issue is that they don't work its that LB doesn't automagically add them because they were added to MAME after the version of MAME that LB is scraping
  18. I agree that year and then manufacturer should be used in cases like this also.
  19. .netframework should work on Windows 7 as it is still supported until 2020
  20. After checking it out I would support it being added its got a Space Invader Galga feel but is still unique in its own right. Pretty cool game.
  21. I've never heard of Radar Scope is it any good if not I don't think it needs to be in just because its Miyamoto's 1st game has to stand on its own merit not his name

    Saturn bios

If you are using RetroArch Mednafen core you can load the core and check under info if your files are named correctly and also get the checksums then check them against the files you have.
  23. so when you are going into file explorer and deleting the XML there are no instances of LB BB or LBN running correct? If any of those are open it won't let you delete the file. You could try using ctrl+a from within LB and deleting all the games in MS-DOS thus removing all of your games from LB and see if that works.
