Being unable to drag items into the UI usually means you're running LB as administrator (which you shouldn't do) or possibly that LB is located in Program Files (which you also shouldn't do).

You've got the associated platform named "Seag Saturn". Assuming this isn't what your actual platform is named in Launchbox, you need to correct that to "Sega Saturn". Same issue with your title

No worries. It's usually the little things

You need to use "-freesize". Your screenshot shows "freesize". You have to use the hyphen.

The PS2 Silpheed is actually pretty good. It's got some super cheesy voiceovers about "Large tentacles!" but that's part of the charm. It's a solid shmup.

New configs: Ace Combat 04: Shattered Skies Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War Silpheed: The Lost Planet Ace Combat 04 has a lot of problems in hardware rendering. Even with some work, the best you can get it in hardware is "not great", with the player's plane being black and all clouds missing. Software doesn't have these issues so it's using software.

You could make a batch to close MSI Afterburner and add it as an additional application to run "after main application" in the meantime.

There is no Demul core in Retroarch. There are Reicast and Redream cores in Retoarch, neither of which are as good as Demul.

It definitely took me by surprise. I went in thinking that it was just going to be another one of the beat em ups but then the first encounter started and I was like "Wait... what?". The production values are really high too, it looks really nice upscaled in PCSX2. Apparently it was made by Visceral back when they were still called EA Redwood Shores. Seems to have flown under the radar.

New configs: The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King The Lord of the Rings: The Third Age The Return of the King is basically a green except that you have to switch to software mode (press F9) in the menus between levels because some of the text is missing otherwise, then just switch back when the level starts. Other than that it seems to be fine. I have no idea how I've never heard of The Third Age but that game seems pretty awesome. I thought it was just another beat em up-esque game like The Two Towers and Return of the King but it's actually an RPG with turn-based combat and it really seems pretty great. I was sitting there playing it and genuinely thinking "How have I never heard or seen anything about this?" I'm definitely looking forward to playing more of that one.

I think it depends on the game. I'm thinking that some games will take you back to the CD player screen as soon as an eject signal is sent and others don't. I don't know that for sure though. I don't have enough first-hand experience doing it in Mednafen/Beetle Saturn (or a real Saturn) to say. I know it doesn't work this way in Mednafen/Beetle PSX (or on a real PSX), which doesn't reset when the eject button is pressed. It should also be noted that swapping was literally just implemented (in the Retroarch core) less than a week ago at this point, so you'll need to make sure your core is up to date. I do know that swapping doesn't work correctly in the game Enemy Zero, but this is true even in standalone Mednafen. I know that someone else on the forums got disc swapping to work on the game Lunacy with standalone Mednafen. And based on one of the responses to the tweet below, apparently someone else got it to work with Policenauts.

Did I misread something previously or wasn't the Youtube downloader plugin supposed to be causing some issue as well? I use it and haven't had any problems lately but I thought I saw someone saying that it was causing problems as well.

New configs: Legaia 2: Duel Saga Magna Carta: Tears of Blood Romancing SaGa Unlimited Saga Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria Valkyrie Profile 2 does have some issues - namely with bloom alignment in some areas and some areas (like the forest in the beginning) have a grid on top of the image (can be fixed by switching to software rendering). They're not too terrible but I would recommend switching to software (via F9) if the grid appears. Alternately you can just change the config to Open GL Software and you'll be set, as it doesn't seem to have any problems. The widescreen hack for the game apparently causes some bugs so I've disabled it in the config, but the game has native widescreen support and it prompts you to choose it as soon as you start the game - press square when you start to choose 16:9.

New configs: Burnout 3 Takedown Rampage: Total Destruction Shadow of Destiny Stretch Panic Twisted Metal: Head-On - Extra Twisted Edition Burnout 3 isn't great. It's in software mode. That game has a lot of problems, all of which are resolved by software mode. For hardware rendering you have to, at the very least, start the race in software mode anyway and then switch to hardware otherwise the sky is just black. The game doesn't run particularly well in hardware rendering either, and there are other visual bugs.

In lieu of the CCS64 video tutorial that I've still yet to make, these are what should be set in CCS64: Special: Options:Video: Palette: Input (if you have multiple controllers, you can use PC Gameport 2 etc. in place of Key-Set 1 which is keyboard control for that port): Sound: No custom command-line parameters are necessary in Launchbox. AHK script for adding various functions/keys to a controller is here.

Dunno about Winvice. For CCS64 you want to set a resolution of 1280 x 800 x 32 (4x integer of native), 1600 x 1000 x 32 (5x integer of native), or 1920 x 1440 x 32 (6x integer of native) in order to scale to the top and bottom of the screen and maintain the correct ratio. 1600 x 1000 is a non-standard resolution for Windows but it can be added as a custom resolution in the nvidia control panel (or equivalent) and works fine in CCS64 afterwards (which populates its resolution list based on any available resolution modes you have setup).
