Right now the easiest way would be to make a folder to use as a "rom folder" and put the shortcut files for your GOG games in it. Then you can import the shortcut files into either your Windows games platform or make your own GOG platform to keep the games separate.

Please do not blatantly advertise your youtube channel and video with download link containing bios. If you want to do tutorial videos that is fine.
-
If you want RA shaders it's worth it.

Locked this thread and leaving it un-edited as an example of behavior that is intolerable around here.

Most likely not if the other emulator is also going through Rocket Launcher. But if the other emulator is separate from RL it would.

AHK scripts are not auto populated. If you want an easier way to manage each games configs I suggest at least taking a look at Spectabis, it's what I use.

I did a very simple and basic adding emulator and importing roms video a while back that may be of some help to you. I did it for Retroarch but all the same principles apply to every emulator.
-
Try this AHK script for PCSX2 in Launchbox. $Esc:: { Process, Close, {{{StartupEXE}}} }

A very interesting video showing how graphics in video games have evolved from its beginnings all the way up to current day, well almost current day since the original 5 part series was upload in 2014.

Not sure what would be causing that with the hardware core, I am able to go all the way up to 8x without issues. Even with the software 2x should be fine enough but beyond that it would be pretty slow.
-
You US region bios are missing or bad then, your JP and EU ones are good.
-
There is a software version of the Beetle PSX core. Unfortunately due to the fact I cannot provide you with bios or games I can only tell you to try other disk images for other games to make sure it is not your game. You can double check your bios are correct and being recognized by Retroarch by loading the core and then in Retroarch go to the main menu > information > core information. It will tell you there if the bios are detected and correct.

You can assign a shortcut key combo in a shortcut .lnk to your Launchbox executable. If you have a keyboard with macro keys you can assign one of those keys to the shortcut combo. Or you can even assign a controller button like the guide button on an Xbox controller with software such as Controller Companion (available on Steam for a couple of bucks).

Glad to help.

The names are the core name dll files in your retroarch\cores folder.

My first guess if you have not fully setup Retroarch in Launchbox, more specifically the command line parameters in the associated platforms list for it. Launchbox does auto fill with a default list when the emulator in Launchbox is called Retroarch but if it is named something else it may not. The auto populated list though may not be what you are using so you will either need to adjust the command line or add a line if required. Take a look at this video I did a little while ago, it covers the smaller details with Retroarch in Launchbox.

It will work with the controller just fine.

Jason today added in the "Launch game with other emulator" feature and I have crossed it off the list and marked it as added. This was the #2 requested feature on the list so good job there @Jason Carr keep it going.

Not that I am aware of, it picks the first file in the zip. We recommend the No-Intro sets or pull the specific version of the game you want out of each zip file.
-
Yeah, i'm fairly certain you can upgrade to a lifetime license at any time.
-
That is very strange. I have not seen anyone have this issue before. Not exactly sure what to tell you other than maybe for some reason your Launchbox folder and files are set to read only and unable to save out the .xml files.
-
Also Jason is pretty good about refunding people if they find Launchbox doesn't meet their needs.

New user looking to create their first Launchbox PC

I would suggest using it as is and use it as a learning experience. Upgrading the GPU wouldn't change any of the emulators you could use, it would only change some of the graphical options such as resolution scaling and shaders. Use the computer as it sits to get used to setting up emulators and Launchbox and to decide what games you want and don't want. Once you learn more about it all you can use that knowledge to then decide just how far you want to take it. -
I have not bothered with this emulator at all yet and not many people bother with it due to its severe lack of real playability but this was something asked about on Discord recently. The person asking about it apparently did figure it out and said "launcher path needs to be from EBOOT.bin from the game file" Beyond that I really have no clue.
