  1. OG Xbox emulation is still very much a work in progress with only a couple of games playable and as far as I am aware of you need to have the games extracted to play.
  2. For those systems you need to use Demul or maybe the Reicast core, this thread is about NeoGeo.
  3. Sorry, we cannot provide support for Colpipes build, you should check his Discord for help.
  4. This is not something that is currently in Launchbox but Jason is working on a Pause screen feature.
  5. I know this isn't a solution to your issue but I would like to highly recommend you having some sort of keyboard / mouse combo for your cabinet. You are dealing with a PC after all and things are going to happen, it's just how things are with PCs. You can get a cheap Logitech keyboard and touchpad combo for around 20-30$ and they only take up one USB port, you can stash it away when not in use.
  6. You should be fine but of course i'm not responsible for anything that does go wrong if it did. If you need and older version please send an email to support@unbrokensoftware.com
  7. You just need to press left or right arrows for a vertical wheel view or up or down for a horizontal view.
  8. Your ram and low end graphics chip is the bottle neck for BigBox. BigBox caches the images into memory and like I said previously a more modern video card would help but because this is a laptop you cannot upgrade it. You linked to my performance guide and in that guide I show a very low end PC that I run with BigBox on it with reasonable results with tweaks like lowering image quality and disabling transition effects but that PC also has a much better graphics card than your laptop, it has 1 gig of gddr5 vram in it which helps a lot.
  9. Look in your \Launchbox\Updates folder, there are previous versions of installers in there.
  10. Your system specs are very low end, BigBox does require higher system specs to run smoothly. A better graphics card would help but since you are using a laptop that is highly unlikely to be upgradeable. BigBox has this feature as well. No. This is not what the audit tool is for. Yes there is another button you can press, check your controller mapping settings in BigBox to see which button it is exactly, by default on an XBox controller I believe it is the X button but I am unsure off the top of my head.
  11. Personally, I would stick with the stand alone version of Mame, it's much easier to deal with but what is described in that thread does work.
  12. It's in the emulator settings. The video below is time stamped to show you where it is.
  13. One of the biggest problems with PC gaming is the fact that there is so much going on in terms of hardware, drivers and software that it is so easy to have some sort of conflict in the chain causing weird hard to track down issues. The hardware you listed is definitely more than capable and shouldn't be a problem. In that performance thread you will see 2 of my systems that I have running Launchbox / BigBox on, one is particularly old but it has no problems within the limits of the hardware and the other is much more powerful and has no issues with up to and including Dolphin and PCSX2. I have never experienced the issue you are describing where running an emulator outside of LB is fine but when run through LB there is a performance issue. I have seen some people run into this issue before and it is most often down to a driver or some other software conflict.
  14. I'm really not sure what to tell you because on my 2nd PC which has an AMD 8350 CPU in it doesn't have any problems with Dolphin being run through Launchbox at all and the 8350 is significantly worse when it comes to emulation than the i7-4790: https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i7-4790-vs-AMD-FX-8350/2293vs1489 There can be other factors such as drivers or background apps running causing performance problems, even a fresh Windows 10 install has a lot of garbage running with all those live tiles and telemetry. I can only say to take a look at the Performance thread here and see if any of it helps out: Another thing to check would be the Nvidia GeForce Experience software if you have it installed, it can be problematic. I have had it cause significant performance issues with even things like Genesis emulation and I no longer install it because of the issues it can cause.
  15. Something weird is going on with your system then, the i7-4790 along with the rest of your hardware is more than plenty for Launchbox and Dolphin.
  16. What i7 do you have ? There is quite a lot of generations of the i7 and a first or 2nd generation is significantly slower than even a 4th generation one.
  17. You only need to import the cue files themselves, you can filter out the files by browsing to the folder where your games are stored and type: *.cue into the search bar of your file manager.
  18. No clue to be honest, the only sets I fully trust are the "official" ones from PleasureDome, those sets contain everything required.
  19. It's not a bug, it's just how things work currently. That check box is just there to set an emulator as default for importing, you need to bulk edit your games to use the new emulator after if you imported them to use a different emulator before.
  20. I think you can copy over the ini from your mame install and it should work but I won't guarantee it even though I said you could copy it over in one of my posts above.
  21. We can name sites but providing links to rom sites or files which contain links is not allowed. We have to be much more careful around here due to the commercial nature of Launchbox. If you want you can post a guide and tell people what to google search for.
  22. @Carlo Gaudreault sorry but I had to clean up your post, we cannot allow direct linking to rom sites or posting files which contain links as well.
  23. Awesome, this has been one of those sorely needed but not so flashy features.
