  1. You said above that it was working??? Either way as i said previously if its a naomi game then you need the naomi bios, you do not have it in your image.
  2. Im not sure i totally agree there. We already have automation to exit emulators. I mean it couldnt hurt to have it, but i think most people are looking for save/load and manual/image.
  3. The database was originally the same data the gamesdb had, but now has much much more, but yes it is all user contributed data and images.
  4. The problem there is that the database is not complete, so it would not be accurate data. The database is not intended to be a be all and end all of every game ever made, its just there to match up as much as it can to make Launchbox look all pretty. It's not designed to be a absolute 100% correct list of all games ever.
  5. Bingo!!! In both my cases the folders were named wrongly, i just had higan for example without the "(Super Famicom Accuracy)" after it. I knew i was doing something stupid as it seemed like it should be so simple by renaming the folders. Thanks for the heads up.
  6. Is there any way to create a config to get these to auto work with cores that are not officially currently supported? For example for NES i use mesen, and for SNES i use HIGAN, neither of these will automatically show bezels. I tried making a higan folder for snes and copying the configs from the snes9x folder to it but that didnt work. Is this simply not possible yet or am i just being a dumbass? Thanks.
  7. Users cannot add genres or tags to the database, They would need to be added by a administrator if deemed suitable.
  8. Yeah, as @JoeViking245 said you need to set your controls in the TAB menu/This Machine. I use a Mayflash F500 and it works just fine. Button 1 and 2 are left and right, then the other 3 i just set to the 3 buttons on the top row of the stick, it works just fine, like this.
  9. Try going to your Launchbox/Updates folder and finding the update and starting it manually, just install it directly over the top, as that is all the auto updater does anyway.
  10. Thats not the desktop UI, its the "Ozone" driver which you can swap to in Settings/Drivers. It's on xmb by default.
  11. Unblock the .dll in the path it says, just right click/properties/unblock.
  12. Controllers work just fine to navigate the Retroarch UI. You just use whatever you have set for A and B to confirm and back. There is also a option to reverse those buttons as by default on a controller the A button is back, and the B button is confirm. You can reverse that with this option.
  13. Tools/Clean up Media, just choose what media you want cleaned and run it.
  14. Bezels are part of the emulator and nothing to do with Launchbox. I have never used FBA so i dont know if bezels work with that but i assume they do, and they definitely do in MAME. However you need to know where the bezels are from and what they are designed to be used with. Are you also using rocketlauncher? as that can have its own bezels that are different to MAME ones. You say you downloaded a CPS pack, was that roms only? or did it come with media and emulators and a .xml for Launchbox as well? This is why we do not provide support for builds you download, there is no way for us to tell what has been setup and with what, or what additional programs have been used in the setup, so its pretty pointless us trying to troubleshoot when we dont know whats included, its even more difficult when the user themselves doesnt know what is included or how things are setup.
  15. Well i just looked in the theme folder and there isnt a TurboGrafx-16 view, so that will be why you get the default instead.
  16. It will depend on how you named that system in Launchbox, if you have a different name for it, it cant match the artwork in the theme. So you either need to rename the platform in Launchbox so that it matches what the platforms images are called in the theme, or you need to rename all the images in the theme to match the platform name in Launchbox.
  17. Surely you know what emulator you setup for your CPS roms? it would either be FBA or MAME, either standalone or a Retroarch core. Unless of course you are using a pre-built build you found somewhere? which if that is the case we dont offer any support for them as we have no idea what has been done to the build. You would be better contacting wherever you got the build from and asking them/there.
  18. Betas are labeled beta for a reason, they are not for general use so if you dont like helping to squash bugs and issues then dont use betas. In order to roll back to a older version look in your Launchbox/Updates folder and find the version you want and run the installer directly over the top of your current build.
  19. It used to be the file that was named that, but that was a long long time ago. You can now drop any video with any name into the "startup" folder and a random one will play each time.
  20. This is the Launchbox forums, which is a PC based frontend. We have nothing to do with either Retroarch or Vita hacking as we are a Windows only program. You will be much better served on the retroarch or vita hacking forums/reddit.
  21. For startup videos just create a folder called startup in your Launchbox/Videos folder and drop any videos in there, they are not theme dependant, as long as you have it in the correct folder it will work with any theme.
  22. Or do what @Retro808 said. I didn't even realise that was a thing.
  23. You can turn the startup/Shutdown screens on/off globally in Tools/Options/Game Startup. Then you can enable them for the emulators by going to Tools/Manage Emulators double clicking the emulator and going to the Game Startup tab.
  24. Stella does not support zip, so you need to either unzip them, or check the box on your second screenshot to "Extract Rom Archives Before Running" that will however be for all games you run in Retroarch.
