  1. The thing is though that Launchbox has absolutely zero control over Retroarch other than passing the ROM file and telling it what core to load. So if it's not working correctly it's a Retroarch issue and nothing to do with Launchbox versions or betas.
  2. Not all cores support achievements, which one are you testing?
  3. My second image is inside retroarch, showing the same game and the same achievement I have earned that is showing in my Launchbox image.
  4. Yeah you can set a image in the personalisation section and turn on the "Show on login screen" option.
  5. They came from either the Launchbox database or emumovies, i didnt get them specially from anywhere else.
  6. Retro achievements are working just fine as usual.
  7. One zip one game, so you could safely delete games you dont want as each game zip contains everything needed for that game to run. Hence the difference in set size as the non-merged has thousands of duplicated files as every capcom game has the capcom bios and qsound for example, where as in other sets the same file is shared across all the games that need it.
  8. The MAME CHD do generally come in full sets and are around 500GB in size, getting individual CHD's can be problematic as if they do not match the romset version you have then they may not work. So getting a full set that you know the version of is the better way to go.
  9. Sounds like a freak one off. I updated last night as usual, no issues updating, it closed Launchbox and applied the update with no issues.
  10. Depending on the emulator you are using you could also convert them to CHD, so one file per disc.
  11. Go to the folder with your roms and put *.cue in the windows search box, highlite them all with CTRL A and drag them onto the Launchbox window.
  12. Save states and normal in game saves are two very different things. Sounds like it supports normal saving like you would on real hardware, be that in the menu of the game or a specific save point in game, but saving anywhere, or a "save state" is not supported.
  13. A MAME non-merged set is close to 120GB, and a full Arcade CHD set is around 550GB, hence my "around 700GB" quote.
  14. If you are just talking the Arcade games then you are looking at around 700GB depending on what romset type you get. If you are also talking MAME software list roms for consoles and computers then you will need multiple terabytes of HDD space.
  15. You can not edit default themes, you will need to make a copy of it and edit that copy, same with all themes in Launchbox/Bigbox.

    Setup ??

You only need to add Dolphin once, then go to the associated platform tab for it and add gamecube and wii as associated platforms.
  17. Actually you just need to set the controls for individual cores in the quick menu/Controls section, just change them to how you want then in the same menu is a "save core remap" option, hit that and it will save them for the currently loaded core.

  19. Yeah in that case then just drag and drop the whole folder into your new install, Launchbox will automatically use them with no further configuration needed.
  20. Well it depends how you backed them up originally, if you just copied the whole video folder elsewhere you can just copy the whole folder back, but if you just have a huge folder with all the videos lumped together then that is more problematic as you would need to sort them.
  21. You can just drag and drop them back to the correct folders in windows, you dont "import" them as such if you already have them.

    LBPlex

Password lock isnt available in Launchbox at all, so its not something that can be added by theme developers i'm afraid.
  23. Running at 4K with windows scaling? You tried rebooting of course?
  24. The VLC issue? If so close Launchbox and delete the VLC folder from the Launchbox folder, restart Launchbox and it will re-create the VLC folder and it should then work.
  25. They need to be named exactly the same as you have your platform named in order to show, so if your platform is called "Sony Playstation 2" then the logo should be named that also. Also case matters, and often PlayStation has a capital P and a capital S so check that. While there are a lot of logos included with the program, not everything is covered so downloading and adding some manually may be required for some platforms.
