  1. The MAME variants dont do anything that the official MAME can't do, screen rotation is available of course.
  2. Try renaming the emulator to just Retroarch. It should look like this.
  3. Also its difficult to just say whats "best" as PC specs come into it, so whats best for one user is unusable for another.
  4. Super Nintendo Entertainment System and Game Boy Advance are in the list, you will need to add Amiga to the bottom of the list manually.
  5. You need to tell Launchbox which retroarch cores to load when loading games. Go to tools/manage emulators, double click retroarch then go to the associated platform tab, find your platform and double click where it lists the core it using as this is a dropdown, pick the core you want to use for that platform.
  6. You can force a metadata update by editing the settings.xml in Launchbox/Data, make a copy first for backup just in case.Open the settings .xml and find the line "Last Metadata Update" and edit the day back a day, so if it says 2018-10-18 which is today change the 18 to 17 and save the file. Now when you search for metadata it will prompt to update the metadata file.
  7. The update to premium won't of changed that, its just some boxes are different sizes to others. The only thing i can suggest is going to tools/options/spacing and adjusting the aspect ratio slider for them.
  8. Launchbox only checks for a metadata update every 24 hours, and the actual database metadata file is also only updated every 24 hours also.
  9. Is the torrent still seeding in your client while trying to extract? That may cause issues. Other than that i can only suggest forcing a recheck on the torrent, apart from that im out of ideas, it could just be a bad torrent, it depends where you got it from.
  10. Its working fine here for me, Launchbox 9.0 beta 1, CEMU 1.13.2d, and the latest cemuhook 0.5.6.8. CEMU BOTW.mp4
  11. Nothing should change there, if they were working before the update they should still be working now, unless something changed on your system, like you moved the games or changed the drive letter. Yeah MAME itself has to know where the roms are or they wont work, you can do that in the UI of MAME or by editing the mame.ini in the MAME emulator folder.
  12. Are you sure this is a zipped rom pack? How large is it?
  13. Use 7zip, just right click the zip you downloaded in Windows explorer and tell 7zip to extract it.
  14. Im not quite sure what you are saying here. The MAME importer is a one shot deal, it imports a whole romset so you shouldnt have old and new games in MAME at the same time unless you are using the old import method, in which case nothing has changed there so anything you import will load as long as the game actually works in MAME. If MAME is telling you it cant find the rom then that is a MAME setup issue, have you told MAME where your roms are? This is essential as they wont work otherwise. Some more details here would be very helpful.
  15. I just recorded this video with both VLC and WMP in the Fundamental theme, and i havent got any issues myself with it. Fundamental videos demo..mp4
  16. The thing is though i have never experienced any video issues with either WMP or VLC in the fundamental theme at all. I'm going to download some of vikings 4:3 videos and see if i can reproduce what you are seeing here. EDIT: Also to add, the theme has no control over the video files you use obviously it just hooks into either WMP or VLC.
  17. Yes, any other emulator you use should also have a input/controllers setting. The reason when you used colpipes set that it worked in emulators but not Bigbox is because the emulators were already setup to use a 360 controller by colpipes, but as Bigbox is paid software and not included in that pack that hasnt been setup, you just need to turn on controller support in the Bigbox options.
  18. Which video would be helpful so that someone can look.
  19. Launchbox has no effect on controls in the emulators, you need to set your controller up in each emulator seperately. Thats why it works in Bigbox but not the games, you haven't set up the controller in the emulators you are using.
  20. Probably be easier just to scan that platform into retroarch, so that the list of games is in the main menu.
