Because Launchbox doesn't know what system the emulator is for. Simply go to the associated platform tab and add Sony PSP as the associated platform. Oh and welcome to the community.

Hi and welcome to the community. Add the below line to the auto hotkey tab in the manage emulators/Retroarch, it will move the mouse cursor to the bottom right of the screen, this is for a 1080p screen if you res is different just change the numbers to match your display. MouseMove, 1920, 1080

Yeah correct, the image above is just showing a standard 4:3 gameplay video not Vikings specially made one, so I would guess the video is named differently. Videos need to match exactly how the platform is named in Launchbox or they will not show.

Most of the themes here are designed for 1080p 16:9, however there is a theme in this thread that was created specifically on request for a user that has a low resolution monitor, its for 640x480 resolution.

you don't need to convert it, just right click the desktop/new/notepad name it the same of the platform and change the .txt at the end to .jpg or .png.

Yeah safe to delete, they are very old and is a log from Jasons dropbox that snuck into a release.

There is a description in this thread. basically create a text document with notepad, name it the same as the platform and change the extension to .png or .jpg and replace the images you have with it. Or secondly you could use a different theme that doesn't have those images by default.

just highlight all the games in a platform then Tools/Download metadata and images. For clarification you will need a Emumovies subscription to download videos, as well as a Launchbox one.

lol, didn't mean to call you out, just didn't want to give false expectations.

Sounds like your license expired so you are not eligible for the update, did the program prompt you, or did you download 8.0 manually? You can try reinstalling the previous version that was working for you, it will be in Launchbox/Updates just install directly over the top of your current install. You are right though your license will last forever you just cant update after it has expired.

If you don't have a paid subscription its the website only, the ftp is for paid members only. The free ones on the site are also the low quality ones, you will need to pay to get access to the higher quality ones.

Yeah that works also, the way I mentioned though means you can bulk edit all the games you want to switch cores on in one go rather than 1 by 1. Whatever works best for you though.

Oh and of course add the N64 in the assoiciated platform as usual.

Add another Retroarch to your emulator list, call it Retroarch N64 or something but point it to your usual Retroarch.exe. Then right click a game and "Launch with" that emu instead.

new user, new install, Dolphin wont startup

I have a Gamesir G4S with the same problem, it's a controller/Emulator issue, nothing you can do unfortunately other than use another controller for Dolphin. -
Set the quit in the mame itself, hit tab, go to input general then user interface, scroll down to ui cancel and set that to a button or button combo.

Go to options/image cache and refresh game logos, that should fix it. -
Unfortunately that is down to the individual theme makers to implement a fall back image if no videos are present, some do, some don't. Maybe go to the support thread of the theme you are using and ask the theme author nicely if they will implement it.
