  1. Nope, the way the achievements work is that there is a trigger point in the actual rom file for certain actions, beat boss, finish race etc. If you were connected online the emu supporting achievements knows the triggers for said rom, I would imagine would award them even if you had no current connection, they will simply be added to your actual achievement score when you reconnect to the internet.
  2. A bit of both, I could do with the girlfriend feature also.
  3. lol, I never said it hasn't had its problems, I guess I just got lucky with mine, but specifying a video codec for the error just seems really strange to me.
  4. But unless you have all your gameplay videos encoded in hevc to start with, which I bet you don't then the lack of a hevc decoder should make zero difference anyway. This confuses me hugely.
  5. No problem, we aim to please.
  6. hi and welcome. email support@unbrokensoftware.com
  7. I would guess you have to be logged into your account and online, launchbox is just connecting to your account to see what achievements you have, it's not actually unlocking any in Launchbox, that is still done through the emulator, Launchbox just reflects any changes from the Retro Achievements site.
  8. Ah, OK apologies, I was really confused, it happens, a lot.
  9. I am so sorry, but I do not understand?? The achievements use the standard naming convention as most in the emulation scene. So we are adhering to the most commonly used format.
  10. Well, I go of to watch the darts, and come back to this. need to download.
  11. OK, gotcha. Thanks for the explanation.
  12. The issue with the original XBOX is that it used a custom built NVidia GPU, and the exact data for that chip just isn't available. Microsoft can emulate there own consoles simply because they know exactly what went into them.
  13. I know, i edited my post before you replied. I was mixing it up with the original XBOX version, apologies.
  14. Also that's another game available on dolphin. I take it back.
  15. Also while you are around Jason, any chance of a tools/options option to show achievements at the top of the details view? I don't use the Game Details view really in Launchbox, that's all Bigbox data for me. So I would like that as the prominent displayed info in Bigbox.
  16. Thanks Jason. I still do get the achievements through retroarch though, that's why I wanted to check them in Launchbox, thanks though, this is a great add to the program.
  17. OK, thank you. Mine is called Sega Mega Drive, and I was wondering if my renaming had caused a issue, but it seems to be a general issue, not a naming one. Thanks again.
  18. Thanks for the update, is your platform called Genesis in Launchbox?
  19. Psi-ops, Burnout 3 Takedown, Amplitude and Frequency for me thanks.
  20. @Jason Carr, could that be a platform naming issue? The game I clicked on was Zero Wing for Sega genesis, except that was never released in the USA, it was a Europe and Japanese game only and my platform is named Sega Mega Drive not Sega Genesis. So could peoples naming of platforms on there specific system cause issues when pulling the achievement data?
  21. Sorry Jason, just got this. Object reference not set to an instance of an object. 22. Awesome.
  23. Sweet, downloading now.
  24. Cheers for the clarification cid.
  25. Those are the views you were referencing right? Because I haven't seen a single theme that doesn't have the list views, I have seen them edited, but not removed from a theme.
