  1. Balanced specs, is my point, who is running what? is it enough for bigbox.
  2. Yes, sorry. Exactly that, I see so many people coming on saying, my pc doesn't do that.
  3. Hi all, A Lot of people are now joining our wonderful community. Which is great to see. But they often have questions about Bigbox and what they need to be able to reproduce the things they have seen in the videos. Sometimes the videos look wonderful on youtube, but there personal rig cant perform as well. So I'm starting a thread with my specs, I am going to point out my exact specs and how well Bigbox runs for me. I really hope others will join in and post there pc specs, so that a newcomer can just say, "yep thats me" spec wise, and jump right in. Personal. i5 -3750k 16gb ddr 3 gtx 770 2gb Bigbox runs perfectly on this system.
  4. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2017-03-01-zelda-breath-of-the-wilds-first-prototype-looked-like-an-nes-game
  5. ALOT......ALOT....... LOL Yeah its hard and all your weapons break!!! I'm not sure I agree with that part yet, but we will see.
  6. I have probably died in this more times than I ever died in OOT, and I haven't even reached the first dungeon yet..
  7. Lol, I will say one thing though, its really hard!!! I mean that!!!
  8. Also "unmamedtown" is about 8-10 hours in (at least for me), and the first time I really saw any framerate issues. It looks gorgeous though it was just dusky and rainy for me at the time.
  9. Yeah I think this might just be a old school fella with a old school setup, and I'm gonna assume a old school version of mame?? The devil is in the details though.
  10. I would say you will not be disappointed, at least in my 10-12 with it so far. Well put it this way, I have not once shouted at the screen because the framerate in any way effected what I was doing, as I said slows a bit in "unamedtown" but its dense with people and houses and rain, and still totally playable at all times.
  11. If you are in a large very busy town, and its raining, a bit framey, but mostly very good. cant compare to the switch version, but very surprised by how well it actually runs to be honest.
  12. Wii u, running off usb stick. Occasional drops here and there, mostly spot on. Cant complain really. Also just to add, I have heard that the switch version actually runs better in handheld mode. The docked version is trying to run at 900p and struggles a bit, 720p on the screen seems to run fine though.
  13. I will not comment further, but I'm about 10-12 hours into Zelda wii u, Get excited people!!
  14. What version of retroarch are you using? If you are on 1.4 then it doesn't use config files anymore, you save "core overrides" for each core which autoload when a core loads. So if you are trying to load config files as well it could be conflicting and causing the crash.
  15. If you re-read it, Jason says, I'm sure there's more but those are the major fixes. Going forward I'm going to continue to focus on bug fixes, as well as implement the following for playlists: - Auto playlists custom fields - Auto playlists support AND or OR for multi-text fields; possibly come up with new comparison types - Adding games to playlists from within Big Box - A new tab in the playlist add/edit window to display the games in a grid for custom sorting - Custom ordering for playlist items - Auto-populating of certain playlists on imports (such as Capcom Classics, Namco Classics, etc. for the Arcade platform) - Download platform videos support for playlists I'm not sure if all of the above will make the cut, but those are the current plans. So not in yet, but planned before the official release
  16. Hi, I really like the look of this, it would be really helpful if you said what screen settings you are using with it in retroarch. I cant get it to fit the screen my gb is to big for the space.
  17. lol. maybe Jason should prompt for a restart now, especially if it is going to upgrade .net on a update or new install.
  18. I really dont think that's a good idea for you if its a work pc.....
