Correct, you would also need to change the emulator for your snes games. Click on the platform, then a game, ctrl a to highlight them all, right click, edit, choose emulator from the dropdown then retroarch from the second dropdown.
When a emulator does arrive it would be great to already have the DB ready to go though, this is why we have so much missing data in other platforms, it would be good to get in on the ground floor and build it up over time.
Thanks for that, I was actually just doing a test during todays live stream. Jason couldn't reproduce it on his system. I always have those off myself, but wanted to see if I could reproduce the bug, I could. Unfortunately Jason cant so its proving difficult to fix.
That's a new one for me, I never use the + or - just save to slot 0 all the time and that works fine. I have back as my hold button then left and right bumpers as save and load respectively. which works just fine for me. sorry cant help there I'm afraid.
The standard select and back buttons can be changed in the input setting. As for left analogue stick load a nes game, open the quick menu, scroll to controls and change "user 1analog to digital type" to left analog, then scroll down to "save core remap file"
Edit, it appears you are trying to setup your nes controls in the main user interface, this is why confirm and back are changing. Setup your nes controls in the quick menu with a rom loaded like I said above.
If some of your roms were already imported then you can go to tools/scan for added roms and it will just pick up roms that failed to import because of the power loss. If none were imported at all then you will obviously need to import again. If you are worried about duplicates downloading then you can go to your lunchbox/images folder and delete the folder for that platform, it will be recreated when you start a import.
I found this worked because mednafen psx I could never put above x1 native resolution. I discovered that in a second retroarch install I could turn on vulkan as the graphics driver and turn mednafen psx up to x8 resolution, no issues at all.!!!!
Yep, you would need to call it retroarch 2 or something, set up your glupen 64 in that with a completely different control scheme??
Retroarch is never installed just like launchbox, its in its folder but that's it, drag and drop anywhere you like.
Thanks Jason, I just completely forgot I was running a image cleanup while I was watching the stream. It finished so I went back to desktop to find that. No harm done so its fine, just thought id point it out.
You bloody tease you!!! extra special goodies????
Cool thanks for letting others know much appreciated. My previous post about a different control scheme, occurred to me, you could copy and paste that retroarch folder to another location and use that folder for your N64? I actually do this for my ps1 games. I discovered recently why I could never play them correctly, they were conflicting. I copy and pasted my retroarch folder, and use the second one for ps1.
