  1. Go to tools, manage platforms, click the one you want to delete, then press the onscreen delete button.
  2. If you have a Nvidia card the GeForce experience shadowplay is pretty good.
  3. No not at all, retroarch doesn't even need installing you just unzip it wherever you like. In my case its in launchbox/emulators/retroarch. Most emulators are portable and don't actually need installing so when you first run them you just tell them to install in the launchbox folder rather than the root of your c drive or wherever it defaults to.
  4. Not quite sure I understand you, but yeah the emulators work fine as long as launchbox knows where they are.
  5. Also I have all my emulators in a folder called emulators which is in the launchbox folder, that way everything is self contained in the launchbox folder and therefore portable.
  6. Well you would have to delete all the platforms you have already imported and start again, but of course you already have all the media so it wouldn't take to long. When you import the wizard will ask you if you want to use the roms in there current location or copy them into the launchbox folder, you would copy them into the folder.
  7. I would suggest when you set it up on your laptop to keep everything in the launchbox folder makes it a lot simpler. Also if you do it that way you could then copy and paste that folder back to your main PC.
  8. Yeah the cable is charge and data.
  9. Yes it comes with the cable as that is what it uses to charge the battery, it also has a wireless dongle to act as a xbox 360 pad as well as Bluetooth.
  10. Yep exactly, in the launchbox folder is a image folder and a video folder just copy them, you can also copy the music and manuals folders if you have been downloading them as well. When you re import check the download metadata you will need that but unchech all the image and video downloads.
  11. I use this its great. https://www.amazon.co.uk/GameSir-G4-Bluetooth-Wireless-Controller-x/dp/B01KZ98RUA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1489518774&sr=8-1&keywords=gamesir+g4s
  12. When I say start from scratch, you can of course copy all your images and videos to the new location. So all you would do is re import the roms on the new system and your images and videos will just work.
  13. Then that's a lot trickier then. You may need to start from scratch on the laptop. If you keep everything in the launchbox folder its much simpler. What will happen is launchbox will look for your roms and such in a location that probably does not exist on your laptop, it may even be looking for a completely different drive letter to what you have setup now.
  14. If all your roms, images and videos are in the launchbox folder then you can just copy and paste.
  15. That's awesome news @Grila Thanks a lot.
  16. That sounds fishy to me, launchbox is a portable application and has NEVER asked me to reboot my system.
  17. OK, go to tools, options, updates, check the update to beta releases. Close launchbox and reopen, you should be prompted to update to the latest beta. Bare in mind though that it is a beta, it should be fine but could include bugs. Otherwise you will have to wait for the next official release which is currently scheduled for sometime next week.
  18. Do you have the premium version of launchbox?
  19. AHK=Auto Hot Key, its a program that lets you use a controller to use keyboard keys, like "escape" can be bound to a controller to exit emulators.
  20. That will work fine for you then, just delete the playlists you don't want.
  21. That should work also. It maybe that launchbox is still running in the background somewhere, try opening task manager and looking to see if there is a rogue launchbox process running, if there is end it and try to reopen.
  22. Yeah it works just fine and as you can see in the screenshot it is a lot easier to change settings with MAMEUI as it just loads like any other windows program, rather than having to use the MAME user interface.
  23. Well that is strange, I have had to do this myself before and it worked just fine. Are you trying to open it from within the launchbox folder or using a old shortcut you already had?
