Really loving this theme. One small suggestion or request I would ask would be a modified platform wall view that use 4:3 aspect images in the grid. For platforms like arcade that might not have box images, even when you include screenshots in image priorities for box front images, because of the normal aspect for box fronts the images display too small.

Teknoparrot games are a whole different different thing so it makes sense, Without a log file even though you say the games run or don't run, we don't know if the resolution was changed or not and to what resolution. You mention that that this is a TV monitor? If so I have a suspicion that the TV (like most) has a scaling feature and that somehow it is involved in your issues. You need to go into your TV menu system and turn those options off. I think this might explain some of the issues.

In the properties for supermodel.exe, you do not have any high DPI scaling options enabled do you? When the game ran too fast, when you were adjusting the powerpc frequency, did you also include the throttle option? Do your other emulators change resolution automatically? It's strange supermodel.exe would be different? There aren't any application specific options in your video card utility settings? (NVIDIA settings for example) Can you post your supermodel.log file after trying to run without changing your resolution to 1024x768 manually? I understand what you want, but it seems something isn't right and having to use 1024x768 to make your Gun4IRs accurate is working around the real issue. If you just want to just continue working around it, if you google there are many simple and free resolution changing apps. You just need to add them as an additional app in LB and select the option to run before main application. I can't speak to which app is best as I don't need one, so I'll leave it to you to decide.

Well it's hard to say much since we have no idea what version you are actually using then. Have you played with the powerpc frequency option to try to correct the playing speed? I can only say that on the newer versions, they all run fine for me but a few I do have the powepc frequency set appropriately. You could pass the resolution as a command line option, but I was referring to setting per game options in the supermodel.ini config file. Depending on how old your version is, I can't say what options are supported and work, just know the newer ones do.

Supermodel3 emulator supports per game settings including resolution and should switch automatically. If you start the emulator from a command prompt and pass the resolution as a parameter does it no switch? If you have to switch to 1024x768 to use Gun4IR, you still don't have it configured right yet. Are you using the right content mode in Gun4IR? You aren't stretching the game in the emulator to 16:9 resolution are you?

Are you 100% sure you have the correct mame203plus rom set? (Sometimes other launchers are point to a different rom location) Mortal Kombat I, II, and III all launching fine here from LB using mame2003plus Retroarch core.

what tiato type x games do I need a loader for?
Headrush69 replied to jimbone007's topic in Emulation
If you change the joystick type to Dinput in JConfig, the keys rempped normally for me. -

Headrush69 replied to jimbone007's topic in Emulation
I don't have this game (don't like how it looks in my cabinet), but I downloaded it again to check it out again and the input issue isn't unique to you. I tried doing some searching but haven't found any reports of why this JConfig doesn't work mapping inputs.. As a work around you can always use an AHK script to remap to the default set keys and than launch the game. -

I would check out the thread on emuline.org for this game. There is 2 different versions (Taito vs Global VR) that are the same game and there are specific steps to get it working. It does work though. Edit: Went back and checked my setting for this game. I have the Taito version and had to set compatibility mode to XP sp3 mode to work perfectly. -
Hitari Emulator Memory Issue when opening Atari ST Games
Headrush69 replied to ToddC's topic in Troubleshooting
Is this just some games or all games. Some games require a specific ST model and specific memory configuration. I would start by adjusting those with Hatari. -
Content Directory Overrides don't work with .zipped ROMs?
Headrush69 replied to poodadoo's topic in Troubleshooting
I couldn't say without some kind of log file, but obviously somewhere that option to unzip files is still active. Are you 100% sure that option is turned off in the emulator settings in LB both in the main configuration screen and the associated platforms screen? -
Content Directory Overrides don't work with .zipped ROMs?
Headrush69 replied to poodadoo's topic in Troubleshooting
That's my point, don't have LB unzip them. You say you have them in separate directories, than content directory overrides will work. (zipped in different folders) -
Content Directory Overrides don't work with .zipped ROMs?
Headrush69 replied to poodadoo's topic in Troubleshooting
Why unzip them? The Retroarch gambatte core will load the zips directly. -
I thought you said in the first post that you did that already? I'm glad you got it working. Light guns sure are the way to play these games but as you're finding out, each emulator/game has it's quirks and procedures that require some up front configuration.

I have Guncon2s for my Gun4IRs so I haven't needed to do this but it sounds like what you want is an AHK to remap some keystroke to the right and middle mouse clicks which in PCSX2 would be what the Nuvee plugin uses for A and B.
-
I don't suggest trying to edit it manually. set your mappings in the PCSX2 app and it should get saved to PAD.ini

Can you run the supermodel3 emulator from either a Powershell or command prompt and post the beginning of the log it generates? Of course change the path to your rom location. If you've set the resolution to match your desktop resolution, this might help show us why it's still changing it. (Maybe it doesn't support that high, I don't know. Just 1080p for me)
-
If you aren't running the multi_cpu version you have to change that script to emulator.exe instead. You may have to re do the in game calibration after switching modes, I don't know.
-
Can you stat what hardware you are using (especially GPU) and your desktop resolution? You need to provide more details when you tell us what you have tried. For example "I tried to match the resolution and it made the game unplayable", which emulator specifically, how did you set resolution, what options, etc. Screenshots are very helpful as well.

I believe their idea is that if you hot plug a device in you probably want to use that device and it makes it ready to run if you move it to the first device. I would check out Tur Controller Order Utility. It has a daemon that actively makes sure controller stay in a set order.

Add this to the running script option under Edit Emulator Those games are natively 4:3 aspect ratio. Are you running at this ratio and not stretched? Have you switched the Gun4IR aspect ratio to content mode by default or used the gun mode button to switch to that mode? Are you using Demulshooter with m2emulator? It's needed to get both guns running. Was it running before starting the emulator?

What reload option did you set as default in the Gun4IR utility? Are you running Supermodel3 emulator at the same resolution as your desktop? I find this is a Windows issue in general and the easiest option is to make sure you run at the same desktop resolution. The Gun4IR guns should be much better than wiimotes. (I have both as well) You shouldn't use any of that software needed with the wiimotes for Gun4IR. Supermodel3 emulator has raw input support and works natively with the guns. What revision of Supermodel3 emu are you using? You are setting the analog components and not the digital equivalents? Specifically in Lost World, are you using gun or analog_gun for input type? Some games require in game calibration. I know Jurassic Park Lost World is one of those games in SM3. Once I did that my Gun4IRs are perfect in game.
