Trust me you need it for the run-ahead (lowers the input-lag, sometimes makes it lower than real hardware), that alone it's enough of a reason to ditch the standalones for good.

Nudity or partial nudity is not allowed, those games seem to focus heavily on it Here are the rules for moderation:

Use Mupen64Plus Next and the GLideN64 plugin, the other plugins (Parallel or Angrylion) might not be able to reach 60fps (they were around 40 in my gaming PC). EDIT: Also, in the core options, make sure you have threaded rendering turned on and VI Refresh set to 2200.

Wrong, their games still get pirated left and right day 1 or even before. They use their own shitty storefront so they don't have to share part of the profit with Steam (or whatever). There is a way, mod your game exe's to be able to launch without Social Club.

Is there a way to hide the loading UI on windows game big box?
Suhrvivor replied to soloredis420's topic in Troubleshooting
The startup screen hides Steam and other windows when launching games. For games that take too much time to start (Unreal Engine games?) you can use overrides and make the startup window to show for an extended period of time. -

Dolphin can swap discs automatically when needed, you don't need to do anything weird like having m3us.

What are you doing with joytoKey that can't be done with Retroarch itself? I never felt the need to use anything else when I run a game through Retroarch.

What do you mean with "correct title"? EBOOT.BIN it's the correct name for all the executables of every PS3 game. As a rule of thumbs you should never rename anything. That way, you'll save yourself a lot of headaches like the one you're having right now. In your case, you could try instead of renaming the eboot.bin, making a copy and renaming it as the correct title. That way RPCs3 won't throw an error when launching from the gui.

Why would you install anything to the root of the drive? That's insane!! There's not a single program that does that. I guess now we know why.

Platforms are treated and showcased for 30 seconds too, you can't make BigBox to only stop at games (well, you can if you make BB to start at "All Games").

Are those changes present in their Retroarch core version?

Moderator Guidelines and Contributor Rules
Suhrvivor replied to Jason Carr's topic in News and Updates
That's expected, as people add changes to the DB the website becomes slower and slower. Only known solution is purging the history of changes but that is done server side by a web administrator, nothing we can do about it. -
Don't change the names!! You'll only make your life harder having your own unique naming standard different from the community one. You can always change the sort name of the game if the order is your main concern, I'd suggest sort naming as the series plus the release year so you'll avoid weird organization problems like having a recent reboot game next to the first one instead of at the end. Mortal Kombat series is a clear offender of this, they have very inconsistent naming, sometimes they'll use decimal numerals (Mortal Kombat 4), sometimes roman numerals (Mortal Kombat II and Mortal Kombat X), sometimes they don't have any number (Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition which is actually Mortal Kombat 9).

How do people deal with/organise multi packs of games?
Suhrvivor replied to BobbyTwoKills's topic in Collections and Builds
I either don't have multiple game roms or only have those packs and not the individual titles (ie Mega Man Legacy Collection instead of individual games), I try to not have duplicate games across the whole frontend.- 3 replies

The simplest way is redownloading them in xiso format.
