  1. You mean like the one at the top right of the forum page? As far as Dreamcast goes, first things to confirm is do your games run in Retroarch directly (without using LaunchBox)? If they I would recommend sharing pics of your set-up so we can see if something is missing. 1: Edit your Retroarch in LB and post pic of the Edit Emulator Screen showing A: The "Details" tab / B: The Associated Platforms Tab (make sure the platform name is fully visible) 2: Right click a game from the platform and choose edit. Show a pic of A: the "Launching" page / B: the "Emulation" page.
  2. No. Best recommendation is at the top of the forum click "Help & Support" and then choose the "Request a Feature" option to post a request on our BitBucket site.
  3. If you are using the “Default” theme the game names will not be under the box. It will be on The image at the bottom of it. If you are only getting a game name when you click an image then you need to check the box labeled “Text” on the bottom right of the Launchbox screen. Near the volume. If you want the names to show under the image you will need to use the “Old Default” theme.
  4. Refresh simply refreshes the image cache. You need to rerun the Media downloader. Right click that game and edit it. In the Images options choose "download media"
  5. Do your games still work if directly Launched in Mame? What mame are you using (Mame, MameUI, Arcade64, etc.) and what version?
  6. LB has been and still names the media after the game name as it is imported in LB. There is no setting to have it name it after the rom. Now, LB will accept media named after the rom and it will show that media in LB. But there was not update to add a setting to choose how it names the media.
  7. Do you have the "Scrape As" set to Arcade? That is the recommended setting. I just tested that game it downloaded the images fine.
  8. Click on a row and CTRL+A to highlight all the rows and CTRL+C to copy (or click the small cell to the left of the First Column Header and it will highlight all rows). Then you can paste into Excel or various other programs.
  9. There is no regular vs portable mode for LB. LB by its nature is portable if you contain all your roms, media, and emulators in the LB folder structure. That is what allows easy portability to a new system/drive. The one nagging issue would be an emulator/game exe that might confine its installation to a certain folder or drive. That's an emulator issue and nothing LB can do.
  10. Moved to a more appropriate sub-forum. (Games Media)
  11. This I am not sure. Is your native resolution 1920x1080? Are you running any DPI scaling? I am running native 1920x1080 and when a game's resolution changes even when I Pause (regardless of the Pause theme used) it shows the pause theme and images at my native resolution.
  12. If you are talking about in BigBox you cannot. The GameDetails view is linked to the Game List View so adding a different image in GameDetails means it would show in the Games List View. If you are using standard Box Image (not using the 3D box image) then there is a Game Details menu item to "Flip Box". The flip box control does not work if you set your box images to 3D Box Fronts.
  13. If coding is not something you are comfortable with you can always go this route.
  14. So what core did you originally test the games with inside Retroarch? DId you try selecting that core in LB? This issue is what I mentioned. LB is not seeing the core you chose in the settings. Try selecting a different core and than changing back. Do you have more than one Retroarch folder and are maybe pointing to the wrong one?
  15. The Associated Platforms tabs shows you are missing the core you have chosen. Is that the core you tested the games in Retroarch with? I would look in the Cores folder in your RA folder and confirm the core is showing in that folder.
  16. What platform is it? Post some pics. 1: Edit your Retroarch in LB and post pic of the Edit Emulator Screen showing A: The "Details" tab. B: The Associated Platforms Tab 2: Right click a game from the platform and choose edit. Show a pic of the "Launching" page and the "Emulation" page.
  17. In the edit emulator options in LB. Check your Retroarch setup and in the Associate Platforms tab make sure you have the name of the platform (It must match how the name appears in LB) and the correct core chosen for that platform.
  18. First things it to set up Retroarch and test your controls and make sure the games run inside RA first. This way we can easily tell if it is a LB issue or an RA issue. Did you test your games directly inside Retroarch?
  19. Select the option to Force Import Duplicates and see if it works.
  20. Just drag and drop the .sfc files in LB.
  21. What theme did you change it out on? If you changed it on the Default theme BigBox will always overwrite any changes in Default themes.
  22. In LB >Tools>Options>Visuals>Backgrounds and turn down the background blur. You can also try using the "Old Default" theme since that one did not have the blur. What version LB are you on?
  23. Add TeknoparrotUI.exe as the emulator. In the default command line parameter add --profile= and in the Associated Platforms tab add the platform name you import the games to. For the game itself import a text file named after the game. Then edit the game after import and in the emulation section check the box for custom command line and add --profile={{game userprofile}}.xml Replacing {{game name userprofile}} with each game's UserProfile xml. In your TeknoParrot emulator folder look in the UserProfile folder and that is where you will find the xml for the game. So for example After Burner Climax the profile command line would be --profile=abc.xml (images below) I recently redid a lot of these games as I saw users playing them directly through Tekno. I had the Austin versions and ones from Colpipes that used the loaders. No matter what I tried I could not get the games from them working directly in TeknoParrot. So I got rid of them and went to the Emuline site and just got the games from there. Now they all work fine in Tekno, no loader junk.
  24. I run it straight through Teknoparrot pointing to the game.exe (none of the loaders like Game Loader All RH) and no issues with controls.
  25. In your LB setting under updates turn them off.
