  1. If you revert back to one of the prior versions you remember it working with does the issue go away? If you look in your /Launchbox/Updates folder you can see prior version. You can choose one you know worked and reinstall it. It will not hurt any of your media or game imports. I honestly cannot recall if anyone has posted LEDBlinky issues with the latest releases.
  2. ReDream should start fullscreen with no issue, make sure in the Video Options you have fullscreen set to True. Also for the game issue make sure in the image below the 3 check boxes in the middle you do not have any checked. Dolphin should also have a fullscreen check box in the graphics options.
  3. So tried you steps exactly as you posted in the earlier thread and no issue. Did you shut off Loading Screens globally or just for the emulator? Not sure if it would matter, but worth clarifying.
  4. Confirming the Exit from pause with RPCS3 only works if you do it twice. Pause, select Exit, then Pause again and select Exit before the emulator actually shutdowns to BB.
  5. I had this happen last night as a fluke, so not sure if related to what FlightRisk is seeing. I then closed LB and deleted the default theme folder then reopened to have LB regenerate it. It worked again. It happened when I was testing a Pause theme I was working on.
  6. Yes, in the BigBox options there is a setting for the view you want it to Startup in. In Settings go to Views then set the Default Startup View.
  7. It likely is not going to work the way you tried as you cannot add a platform and not import games into it. A platform will only show up if games are imported to it. You could add a couple new Platform Categories. 1 Called Custom Playlists and 1 called Auto Playlists. Then in each will have the related playlists. May not be the best solution but you may not be able to nest playlists inside each other the way you want the way LB/BB works for now. There may be a better way I just do not mess with playlists and the ones I have I do not drill to such a specific level or organization.
  8. Whether it will happen or not is not determined, but I would wager to say it is something that will eventually get looked into. After all Jason just got going on the Pause feature. I do not think we have to be so stark about it not being in place right now.
  9. Yes. You would have to create a new theme to show images you see fit. Or copy the default theme and rename it, then edit the xaml. Pause Screens can be themed like all the others.
  10. The biggest update was likely the implementation of Startup screens in 9.2. To date Mame has worked without issue for the vast majority of users. Some have noted some problems though. Try turning off Startups for Mame and see if it helps. >Tools>Manage Emulators - Edit Mame and go to the Startups tab. Additionally, you can try tinkering with the settings in the tab to see if it helps when you have it on.
  11. Currently there is not from within Launchbox. In oder to keep all the ones when you add a new one you need to make sure you check all the appropriate genre. Unfortunately still in not a perfect solution since some games you may not want to have all the same genre types. I know this was mentioned in the past. I believe it is on the list of things to look at but it may still be some time as there are other items higher on the list to tackle.
  12. Like @DOS76 said Launchbox should have no issue recognizing controls in any of the modes from the Xarcade. I leave mine in mode 1 and it works fine, that is for certain keys. Since mode 1 is keyboard and those buttons are mapped by the factory and cannot be changed. If you change to modes 3 or 4 you need to then open the controller mapping options in Launchbox to set the controls to be able to use in Launchbox. I have never used these modes in LB, but just tested and they work fine. LB recognized the buttons once I mapped them.
  13. If you right click a playlist and edit it in Launchbox you can set where you want it to show up by editing the Parents tab. Additionally, there is a check box on the details tab you can check to have the playlist included with platforms. This will change how BigBox displays it also.
  14. I do not believe you can specify in LB/BB which monitor you want the startup screens to show up on. I have not seen any options for that and it has not been mentioned as a feature. Are you wanting to have it show up on a screen other than what the emulator or Launchbox/BigBox might be on?
  15. Thanks Neil. Something else I have never changed. Guess I should get in there and mess around.
  16. I knew one of our more expert resident mods like @neil9000 would clarify for me. I rarely mess around in RA user interface. As evident I still use the nonWindows UI that they now have available. I really should check that out. Looks cleaner.
  17. You cannot compare what BigBox has as far as configurations go to was Retroarch has. One has nothing to do with the other. BigBox mappings are for BigBox alone and nothing else. If you are talking about a "confirm" or "back" while in Retroarch's UI then as you see they do not exist in their UI. You really need to use a keyboard when you move around in their UI. I am not sure you can actually use a controller to move directly in the UI. I have never tried to use one so I could be wrong. When you launch Retroarch.exe it shows you the version in the bottom left of the screen.
  18. What do you mean "Ones that are exposed by the application"? What else are you trying to map that would not be exposed in RA? Not really sure why you are having issues. I would suggest maybe back that version up somewhere just in case and then download a new clean RA and set it up from scratch and see if you can get it right. Maybe something corrupted the current version. What you are wanting to do can be done in Retroarch. My Tankstick stays connected in the main cabinet. I have an Xbox One and some 8Bitdo controllers (all wireless) that also connect to that pc when I am playing console games in RA. I do not have to reconfigure anything anytime I start up the controllers. I would first spend time setting up RA and not worry at all about Launchbox/BigBox. Set up RA and test it to make sure all the controls are set how you want them for all the platforms you will use. Once you have that right it will just work in Launchbox/BigBox since they have no control over nor do either of them alter any emulators controller configs.
  19. I have seen some random posts with a couple members having something similar. An emulator will work fine with Startup in Launchbox, but in BigBox they have issues. I think there is a couple references in the beta thread. Likely something Jason would have to see if he can replicate. Like @Lordmonkus it is working fine for me.
  20. If you turn off Startup theme options for Redream emulator and then exit a game in Redream from BigBox does it exit properly?
  21. @neil9000 I only stumbled across those new edits a few days ago setting something up. @Dexll Glad you can get sorted now.
  22. There is a feature already to handle this. However, I am not sure if it is in the beta only or if the stable version has it as well. You can bulk edit your PC games by choosing all the ones you want, right click and edit. Look for "Startup Screen - Override Default Settings" and choose. In the next screen check the box in the Value" field. Click next and then finish the wizard. Now if you right click a PC game and scroll to the Startup tab when you click the customize button you should see the default is overridden and Startups are turned off for your PC games. Just tested on my PC games and works fine. The pics below are from just now doing it.
  23. Pinball Fx2: Startup - working Pause - working Pinball Fx3 : Startup - working Pause - working
  24. Street Fighter 5 on PC correct? I play it frequently and can easily exit any type of match without having to wait to loose. Just hit my back button that is mapped and it brings up option to return to main menu.
  25. You likely have something not set right in Launchbox. Check to make sure you have the Nintendo 64 platform listed in the associated platforms tab of your Retroarch emulator setup in Launchbox. Make sure you have it listed the exact way you have it showing as a platform in Launchbox. For example, If you call it N64 in Launchbox make sure you call it N64 in the associated platform. Also make sure in the same tab you have the correct core listed that you are using for N64 in Retroarch.
