  1. In your pic of the Associated Platforms image we cannot see SNES platform. Can you show a pic with the SNES platform in the image. Also that last cell labeled "Status" that we can just barely see it clearly shows you are missing cores. That "M" that is just visible in that cell is "Missing Core File". That could be your issue.
  2. You appear to have the platforms listed in alphabetical order so "Arcade" is not showing. In the image of the Associated Platforms we cannot see the rest of the list. Do you have "Arcade" listed there and the correct core selected?
  3. Does the game run if you open Retroarch directly and try the game? If yes there could be a setting wrong in LB. Go to >Tools >Manage >Emulators and edit Retroarch. Post the following pics. 1. Pic of the Details tab 2. Pic of the Associated Platforms tab. Right click one for your SNES games and choose Edit Metadata and Media. Post the follwoing pics. 1. Pic of the Metadata tab 2. Pic of the Launching tab 3. Pic of the Emulation tab
  4. You have to open the emulator directly, You cannot do mapping from within LB. You can open the emulator from within LB though. Just right click a game in LB and you should see an option to open the emulator.
  5. All in game controls are mapped in each unique emulator. LB/BB do not have anything to do with in game controls. So yes. I believe in the controller/keyboard mappings in BB there are options to bind for page up/down and zoom in/out. I would suggest spending some time just looking around LB and BB settings pages.
  6. The other options missing means those image types are not in the database for that game. That game you have highlighted if you look in the DB it does not have images for those other options. So LB will not list them. In the image below you can see Alone in The Dark has more image types in the DB so those image types show selectable. If I do the same for DeathKeep you see it matches what you are seeing. As far as it not downloading images from the "Select All Games" option are you saying it is not downloading any images at all for the option you select for all games or just some games?
  7. In BB the binding you need to use is the "Close Active" window one. Which you said you tried. Best recommendation if pick one emulator you are having issue with and let us know which one. share pics of the following: In BB share a pic of the bindings you mapped to close the game In LB >Tools >Manage >Emulators and edit that emulator. Share a pic of the Details tab and the Running AHK tab.
  8. Looking at the video this looks like the delays caused by the theme's fades/animations when loading the next metadata. I use a custom theme I made without all those affects and the next meta and video loads well within a second. When I switch to the Default theme or another with those kind of animations it usually take 2-4 seconds for the next load. It is definitely not excessively long, but then again I compare it to trying to get media to load on the Nintendo Switch when in the eShop. 😃 So my opinion differs. My recommendation is try a couple other themes and see if the delays differ. I would also recommend closing down all other applications running just to ensure something 3rd party is not affecting this. Provide us any feedback once you have done that.
  9. I do not believe anything in latest updates was made to address this possible issue. It has been hard for the devs to replicate this. At least from their prior posts. Can you try moving your video folder out of the Launchbox folder and test having attract mode run and see if you have any crashes. As I mentioned earlier this issue plagued me for years. It was not until I tested removing video files that I found out I had a few videos that were corrupt. Removing them and downloading new ones I have not had a crash in a long time. It would be helpful if you can test that and let us know if it made a difference. May not be your issue, but would be good to eliminate it or if it is it can provide more information to the team.
  10. Ah crap, I was looking at memory (I saw the 45% at the top and brain immediately went there) versus GPU. Completely missed you quite succinctly stated "GPU". Reading is fundamental 😃 In the 13.7 and 13.8 releases I am not sure what updates would be using more GPU. So not sure why you are seeing such a big increase. Here is a pic of mine in 13.8 The differences are when a video is running in LB details window (GPU at almost 8%) versus when I pause the video (GPU at 0%).
  11. You misread my post. 1200-1400 is not a percent. I was referencing the memory count 1200-1400MB/s. Your screen shot shows you are around 1450MB/s. Its been several years since my builds have been below 1000. I believe there are some posts back as far as 2021 users asking about their memory being in the same range. Even though the app is sitting so to speak LB has cached a bunch of data in the memory to aid in speed of the app and responsiveness. Newer versions offer updated features so it is always likely it could have increased a bit. Our devs try to balance this as much as possible. To install a prior version look in your \updates folder. It contains all prior installers for versions you have used. Rerun the one you need.
  12. trying adding -i to the command line parameters. In testing a bunch of games some ran and some kept kicking that error. Added -i and so far all games are running fine.
  13. Yes, just run a game again. You typically get that the first time. Just tested on a fresh install and that happened as well.
  14. In that General tab delete the .iso that is referenced under the CD-Rom setting and click "OK" to save the settings. Then open a different game in LB than Cotton.
  15. Open YabaSanshiro and post a pic of the "General" tab in your settings. If you open the emulator directly and run different games do they all work?
  16. Add -a to "Default Command-Lines Parameters" field inside LB for that emulator. Tested and works.
  17. The number you are seeing is about normal for my set-ups over the years. Past couple years it tends to sit around 1200-1400 depending on which pc it is and the theme/view being used. I know I have seen similar from other users posts.
  18. Are you using Mame standalone or Mame core in Retroarch? First try running a game directly in the emulator without using LB. If using Retroarch and the game does run then you likely have the box to "extract archive" checked inside your emulator setting within LB. In LB go to >Tools >Manage >Emulators and on the first tab uncheck that box. If using Mame standalone open Mame.exe and try running a game without using LB. 1. If the game does not work your issue is likely you did not tell Mame where your roms are if you did not put them inside Mame's \Roms folder. 2. If the game does run you may have a setting off inside your LB emulator set-up. We would need to see some pics, but first lets see what you respond with on these items.
  19. This is not a beta related issues. If games are not running this is usually a setting issue or a rom issue. Please go to the troubleshooting subforum and start a new thread. We can focus there in helping you with your setup issues.
  20. Yeah if you imported files into a platform it needs to be tied to an emulator (well with exception to things that are run from bat files or their own exe). Wanting to use LB/BB default pdf reader for a platform item is not something heavily asked for. Most are using something like Sumatra or even CDisplayEx. So as far as an improvement item to this that might take a while as this is sort of a niche request. In the meantime maybe give this a look:
  21. Ah crap...too early in the AM for me. My eye saw double \Launchbox\Launchbox and completly skipped the .exe piece 😵‍💫. If you click on the Launchbox.exe in the \core folder does it launch? If memory serves me correct that is the true exe in the core folder. Seems like a link broken between the two. If you have a premium license does BB launch?
  22. Probably be a while if this ever does become a selectable option. I would say a slim chance as well. In the meantime in order to remove it you would need to make a custom version of the Default theme. If you do this and the option ever does come to LB it will not affect the theme you edited as typically LB's built in options do not override coding in a custom theme. To do what you want you would need to copy the Default theme's folder and rename the copy whatever you want. Then with LB closed edit the GameDetailsView.xaml for that new theme. Around line 1191 in the code is the StackPanel for the Game Title. That area is where you would want to make any edits. You should see a couple of TextBlocks in that StackPanel for the Game.Title to delete or comment out. Keep in mind this may bring the video up closer to the Platform Name so you may need to pad the spacing.
  23. In that first pic you have LB for some reason installed to \Launchbox\Launchbox folder. When you did a reinstall its likely that is when that occurred. It just needs to be \Launchbox. Open the \Launchbox folder and see if you have another Launchbox folder inside it. If so that is likely the issue and causing the conflict. Remove that subfolder.
  24. The change log is posted in the first post. Any changes to the Default theme in a release would be noted.
