I do not think that is a bug, it's what it is designed to do. If you have the option checked in your LB Game Details settings to show Star Rating LB will show either the Community Rating or your personal rating as long as one exist. The only time it will be greyed out and show 0.0 rating is if there is no Community Rating and no Personal Rating.

LB is more for a pc/desktop style use. For using mouse and keyboard to move around the frontend. It is also where all the import/metadata work is done. BB is the functional UI for cabinet style builds. Graphical interface to give you more of an arcade cabinet experience.

Just to complete the thread for anyone who may have future questions... No. If you do not link those storefronts in the Manage Storefronts settings in LB they would not show up. How could they? LB would not know you have any games from those store fronts to import. Nah, it's a truth.

They are there for the numerous users that do want them in their set-up. Do not log into those storefronts in the LB UI and make sure "Enable Automatic Imports on Startup" is not checked. (>Tools >Manage >Storefronts)

BB does do that. If you are talking about the blank spaces above and below the platform list in the left that is a designed spacing layout by the theme creator. You would have to edit the theme's code to make the space there smaller or less obvious. Since it is text view you would have to make space adjustment so it looked like it was starting over. You can see BB does this in a different theme using Clear Logos. The wheel layout is almost top to bottom and it starts right back at the beginning with no gap.

What version LB are you using and can you post a pic off all the contents in your \Launchbox\Data\Platforms folder?

Not sure. Maybe something up with the translated LB version. No other users have reported any such issues and without really seeing the entire process you are doing its hard to speculate what it could be. Would be nice if you can record a video showing what you are doing so we can see the steps. Even be useful the original Windows folder path and the new one. I will ask one of the devs in the meantime.

You do not have to use Manage Themes section to set a theme. In BB setting go to >Options >Views and in the first line item change the theme. Use this option if you manually downloaded or copied a theme.

Open your \Launchbox\Updates folder and run the installer for the last version you used or if the newest version is there run that one. It will not override any data or settings. Running an installer never messes with settings, game data, media, or platform data. IMPORTANT: Be sure to check the folder it is installing to make sure it reads \Launchbox and not \Launchbox\Launchbox.

Yes, as I mentioned in the first post. Just copy the Unified theme folder over to the other pc. Then open BB on that pc and set the theme to Unified. Do not copy the folder called Unified & Ultrawide that's a different theme.

I am a bit confused here you mentioned Unified and then Unified & Ultrawide with one being a v13. Unified & Ultrawide latest version is only v1.1. Both on the the forums download section for BB themes and inside BB theme manager v1.1 is the most current version for Unified & Ultrawide.

Never had any issues with it. Just tested moving entire SNES rom set and all roms were updated. What exact steps are you taking. Pics also help to troubleshoot when possible.

There is no option you need to mess with. The connection should work as long as you have internet connection on the pc. You can simply copy the update theme folder from the pc you were able to update and paste the theme folder into the other pc.

Which Xinmo unit do you have. They have a version that the encoder replicated keyboard keys and ones that replicate a gamepad (xinput/dinput)? You mentioned your mouse moves when you move the joystick so I am going to assume its they keyboard version. If so you need to go into keyboard mapping option in BB settings.

Did you go into BB settings and map the controls? By default there are some things mapped but not all joysticks/controllers work instantly without manual mapping. Not sure if that unit replicates keystrokes or buttons from a gamepad so you need to go into the keyboard mapping or controller mapping and do so if you have not.

I understand what you are talking about but unfortunately it is still a no. Those pop-ups are an element of the Game Details screen and will be the last "Window" so to speak that was opened in BB before the game launched. BB will always return to the last screen opened when closing a game.

No. Anytime you access the Game Details screen that will be the last view so BB will return to it. Even if you have it set to Skip Game Details and bind a button/key to display the Game Details when you need to choose a different version BB will still return to that screen if you launched a game from it.

In LB edit your Mame emulator. Check your drivers or… >Tools >Manage >Emulators and edit Mame In the field box below the "Default Command-Line Parameter" remove the line below and then test and see if that helped. -waitvsync

The Castlevania collections and the MegaMan X collections are 2 I have been recently enjoying. Bonus content wise I have always enjoyed the addition of music tracks and additional artwork.

As was already mentioned by a previous member, just keep it simple and update audio, refine the controls, and give the graphics a touchup. However, it is nice touch to be able to toggle between a modern graphical look and the old school version.

Are you adding games via scan folder or selecting the files? If you could provide the exact steps you are doing It would be helpful.
