  1. In the file CBeats referenced you need search for or scroll down until you see <PlatformFolder> Probably around line 2800 or so depending on your build. That area lists all the folders for every platform. It is not the folder lines listed in the section with the actual platform's details.
  2. Yes, just map those buttons in LB and BB. LB and BB have separate mappings so you need to do both. Also in BB you want to map to the option for "Close Active Window".
  3. You can either open the mame ini file and manually type the CHD folder path in it (goes as an additional path in the rom path section) or you can open Mame.exe without a game and use the setting menu to point to the rom path. Example: rompath "roms;E:\Mame\CHD"
  4. Windows games are you talking about media downloads from LB GamesDB or from EmuMovies? I do not believe EmuMovies has a ton of media for Windows games. Looking through the EmuMovies FTP right now and I do see some, but not a bunch of Windows games videos/theme videos. I could be looking in the wrong spot.
  5. An example of some games would be good to know. Which is what I asked in the other post. In the images you shared when there is no video option it usually means LB is not finding a video for the game on EmuMovies. I tested a game a few games I see in your images and still no issue on my end. Here are pics from importing and scraping Freaky Flyers. Here with Deadly Skies III there is nothing on EmuMovies for it. However, use the US name (Airforce Delta Strike) and it finds media on EmuMovies. So it looks maybe like a naming issue with PAL games and EmuMovies.
  6. What were some games you imported for PS2? Just tested in 2 batches about 14 games and both imports downloaded media from EmuMovies. So it is not a LB issue.
  7. Please keep the data going in the ticket. It is easier to track and there is no need for it in 2 places. Yes I know you were directed to post on forum, but they were probably not aware a ticket already existed with plenty of data. The issue is unique enough the BitBucket ticket will work. You can leave the existing thread up as a reference in the ticket. I have added a link to this thread in the original BitBucket ticket. Any new users experiencing this issue can post on the ticket: https://bitbucket.org/jasondavidcarr/launchbox/issues/7747/rotating-freeze-in-new-3d-cover-display-in
  8. Not confident there is anything for LB to fix. Checked on our team discord and so far no one else showing an issue with LB/Emumovies. Ran a few more tests importing SNES and Dreamcast with proper metadata/media downloaded.
  9. No issues here. Just tested a new Mame import.
  10. No. There is no shortcut way to select another platform without click on the item from the platform sidebar possibly a custom theme that can better minimize that window to seem hidden.
  11. I understand your point and I am sure the devs do as well. However, somewhere something has to give and in my experience working with the team they are striving to make LB as beginner/user friendly as possible while still allowing LB to be flexible for the power user. The empty folders take up no real space, so for the sake of making it easy on new users and entry level users it make sense to have the folders created and ready to use. For the time being, while this new feature is being developed and evolves, the folders are not an option that can be turned off unless you turn off auto imports. Please continue to provide sound, constructive feedback. Just remember not all of our users have the depth and breadth of knowledge in emulation.
  12. No. Images need to match the name of the playlist. This falls in line with unique folder names as well.
  13. It is likely to ensure the folders are the more common names and to ensure that if the user just drops the roms in the correct folder names the feature will work off the bat without the need for the users to set anything up as in alter folder name or edit default folder path.
  14. Yes, same place you go to turn it on.
  15. No, you cannot force LB to use Screenscrapers xaml file. Screenscraper files have been known to cause issues with LB, but you can try to use this tool made by one of our devs
  16. Likely not. It is part of the new rom scanning feature. I deleted your other post as it did not need to be in 2 places. To prevent it you would need to turn off the new autoscan feature.
  17. No. You have to edit each one by one and can only be set when a platform is added.
  18. In LB right click on a platform name and edit it. In the "Folders" tab the game rom path is the first item. Change the location there.
  19. The OP error was related to a known shared/pirated license. We removed the error that was posted. Your error is not that. What theme are you using? I know you stated you have no custom themes, but that error reads like one related to either a theme that is not the BigBox Default.
  20. How did you do the update? The update itself would not mess with any roms or platform data.
  21. In your updates setting in LB Tools turn off updates.
  22. Glad you are sorted. No worries. We are here to help.
  23. That is how the feature will work. LB has no way of knowing you previously deleted it and do not want it in your library. Since you did not manually remove the file from the rom folder or you did not turn on the option to allow LB to delete it from the rom folder, LB just sees the file there and adds it back. You either have to remove it from the folder or let LB delete it when you delete it from the front-end. You can turn that option on in the "General" tab of the LB options.
  24. Currently no. This is a new feature so the devs are actively working on updating. It can be a bit tricky to plan for all the variations as an example Pico8 emulator uses .png as rom file. So blacklisting that would prevent Pico8 from importing. I would say if you are using that type of folder structure those other front ends use you might want to turn this feature off for now.
  25. If you do not have auto-imports on then it is not importing anything. It is possible LB is reading an extra platform xaml that might be in your \Data folder. Did you notice if the change in numbers might have been being altered for a specific platform or did you only look at the total # changing? Inside your \Launchbox\Data folder do you have any extra platform xaml files in there that might share the same name as a platform. Such as backups of xaml files or extra copies? Even if they are slightly renamed LB will try to rename them and cause a similar issue. We can understand the frustration if something is not working right. However, cussing and demanding will not do things any good at least with resect to us listening to you and continuing to offer assistance.
