In the mean time I bought a Xbox one wireless controller as I have never used any xbox controller before I was curious, to cut things short: I like the analog sticks better than ps4 although the top of the sticks are meh, the dpad is not my thing as it clicks and overall it doesnt really do it for me, its much smaller than I thought. The Hori Fighter Commander is still my fav controller, and finally was able to order a 8bitdo SF30 pro controller, have been wanting this one for a long time now.

I like to make my own backgrounds/graphics so it will have a unique feeling and in 4K, New Retro Arcade screenshots (almost all in 1080p) are overly used at this point. For the time being it will be a crossover between FutureState Neon Deluxe and this new theme: "Neon Deluxe Arcade" it'll feature a cabinet with video/screenshots, what you've described is my wish as well although at this point I might only be able to get the arcade cabinet part done, when PASC is out i'll try to make a different screen for each system, it'll work much easier then.

I just place the 2 images here without saying a word, that way it will be really mysterious, they'll be like huh? Why doesn't he say something, I'm going to sit here and watch.

I'd like to change the text color of a status, like "Good" would be green, "Imperfect" in orange and Preliminary" in red. Anyone know if this would be possible and how this can be done? Thanks for any reply.

Yep all seems fine with the videos here, I tried to provoke the grey/greenish video artifacts by navigating faster than it could load the video, going back and forth titles really fast, trying to confuse the hdd, in the past I got the artifacts by doing this occasionally using my theme (it uses large videos), it doesn't happen anymore. I'm not 100% sure/could be a feeling but it seems to load video's a tiny fraction slower (could be below a second), is there a way to make videos load faster or is it connected to the loading times of a theme/speed of systems hdd? Edit: I think It's the theme, I was able to speed up the parameters from the custom code by hexxer for wheel hiding, now it's faster

Maybe a dumb or a revolutionairy concept but wouldnt it work to slightly tilt the dual sticks foreward towards the player just a bit, and/or more to the right or left, leaving more room for movement and no accidental button presses. I must write them hahaha

Nope twinkle star sprites was for the neo geo right? The game I mean was also in the arcades and on the dreamcast or saturn, but I cant seems to find the name, i'll look it up tomorrow, it looks amazing not sure if it is though. @Dane its hard for me to buy when not using creditcards or paypal, I use this dutch digital payment service, although it isnt supported by many countries. And honestly, I want hori to attach dual sticks on my FC5 dammit, its perfect in every way as it is, I really love the larger buttons as well. Yep, gonna write them one day, maybe I can paste it here and you guys help me out getting the grammar in order and let it sign by as many hori lovers as possible, hell I'll make a prototype photoshop of it and attach it @DOS76 I don't want to offend you but I think those controllers don't look nice brother

I played a lot of shmups on the snes back in the day but still have to play so many, one of my favs I can come up with out of my head where: Axelay (by god this was digital LSD) Any parodius game (love cute-em-ups!) Does Granada count? On the Megadrive, still my favorite soundtrack. Of course the raiden and gradius, salamander and all its 1000 names series. I am really looking foreward to play a game (I bet you know which one I mean) which is a japanese cute-em-up style game where you fly over japanese arcades and stuff, this game was the last drop for me to go into launchbox basically after seeing it on that Iron Jesus dudes channel, have to play it still, its on the dreamcast as well if I recall correctly. Cave made some amazing games as well, still have to play em all, to busy creating still.

How does the stick feel? Can you move it as fast and easy as with a normal analog controller? As this worries me a bit when needing to act fast. Is the shape of the space around the stick octagon or round?

Do you like the Hori Rap 5? I never had one of those arcade sticks but am really curious how they feel, gaming with these on your lap.
