Is anyone having issues browsing and downloading from the site. I let an test version of LB update and took close to an hour (usually less than a minute), let the metadata base update and took like 10 minutes. Browsing is even slow. I checked my speeds and they are fine on my end. Even rebooted routers.

I do tons of home automation, For example, I have big screen hanging on the wall over one of my PCs. I just grab a DS4 controller, tell Alexa to change the TV for games, then tell Alexa to tell my PC to play games. The first voice command changes the TV to the appropriate HDMI input, the second voice command runs a couple programs on my PC to change the primary monitor to the TV and the PC audio to the surround sound and then run some apps like DS4Windows and Bigbox. Couple questions or thoughts 1. Do you plan on expanding the plugin, like being able to do more than search, like actually starting a game? 2. Have you considered doing an Alexa skill to work with it? (Amazon is actually having a free seminar Jan.19th on how to use some of their new tools to add voice without coding experience to things like this if your interested) I love this and hope you continue developing it!!!

Maybe more of a question, but something I just noticed. If I add a Windows game manually, it will have the "Installed" checkbox checked. But it will not show the Badge for it after selecting OKAY unless I go right back in to edit the game, uncheck, then recheck the "Installed" checkbox. I wouldn't think it should do that, would it? Shouldn't it display the badge without all the extra steps?

Thanks for letting me know. There are actually over 20 of them missing for some reason. I will see if I can get the missing ones uploaded again. They may have gotten lost when LB migrated the website. Not sure how well updating an older post like this will go, but I will sure give it a whirl. I was able to upload a single zip file of ALL of them for you in the mean time. Again, thanks for letting me know.

Something else I have found, but not sure if it related to this beta or LB in general. I have my media stored on a mapped NAS drive. I cn run cleanup on a single platform, i.e. Arcade, it finds 5000+ duplicates. (through a bunch more in there for testing to see how well it does). When I select ALL and try to "Move checked files to folder", it moves nothing. The delete works, but not the move
-
Select Games Missing Data Allow it to refresh Select Tools > Download > Update metadata and media Choose only the options to download boxes and 3d boxes as far as what to download. Tried with and without emumovies I got it to work by selecting 4-5 games, but if I select the 400+ it keeps initializing, the first time I let it go for over an hour
-
v12.7.1 - When I use the "Games Missing Media", allow it to check the metadata, then trying to update what it finds, say box fronts or 3d boxes for the 400+ games, it just hangs on "Initializing process" for me. Cancel isn't working right either. I can close LB and try again, does same thing. Anyone else?

Yes, if you read my post above, I was using a Pi, I think it was a Pi4 though, not a Pi3 with Open Media Vault. I only moved it to a PC about 6 months back. When I moved it to a PC, I just installed OMV to a external SSD and moved all my external drives to it.

Platform & Platform Category Images Set (cleaned and adjusted) View File Couple hundred .png images in this set. I believe it includes all the Platforms & Platform Categories (see list below). I think most of them are from @viking's collection, but there are others I had found or created as well. Like Nintendo GameCube has both the purple one and a black one. The screenshot shows this collection on the top and originals on the bottom. I done some re-sizing (most are between the 400-600 pixel range), some cleanup and some color adjustments on them trying to make them look more realistic and vivid in color. Brighter whites, darker blacks, etc.. Not a huge difference, but a little better. All excess transparency has been cropped off making the image size more accurate to what you see when using them. All the work was done in Photoshop (2022) These can be used in your regular rig as well, but you will have to copy them to the appropriate folder one at a time. (I made these more to drop into a theme you might be working on without all the individual platform folders) I had done these for the themes I work on and just thought I would share 'em. -Enjoy What's In The Set: 3DO Interactive Multiplayer.png 1292 Advanced Programmable Video System.png Aamber Pegasus.png Acorn Archimedes.png Acorn Atom.png Acorn Electron.png Amstrad CPC.png Amstrad GX4000.png Amstrad PCW.png Android.png APF Imagination Machine.png APF-MP1000.png Apogee BK-01.png Apple Bandai Pippin.png Apple I.png Apple II.png Apple IIGS.png Apple III.png Apple Lisa.png Arcade.png Atari 800.png Atari 2600.png Atari 5200.png Atari 7800.png Atari Falcon.png Atari Jaguar CD.png Atari Jaguar.png Atari Lynx.png Atari Pong.png Atari ST.png Atari XEGS.png Bally Astrocade.png Bandai Playdia.png Bandai WonderSwan Color.png Bandai WonderSwan.png BBC Bridge Companion.png BBC Micro.png Bit Corporation Gamate.png BrezzaSoft Crystal System.png Camputers Lynx.png Capcom Power System Changer.png Casio Loopy.png Casio PV-1000.png Coleco ADAM.png Coleco Telstar.png ColecoVision.png Commodore 64 Games System.png Commodore 64.png Commodore 128.png Commodore Amiga CD32.png Commodore Amiga.png Commodore CDTV.png Commodore MAX Machine.png Commodore PET.png Commodore Plus 4.png Commodore VIC-20.png Computers.png Consoles.png Creatronic Mega Duck.png Dragon 32.png EACA EG2000 Colour Genie.png Elektronika BK.png Emerson Arcadia 2001.png Enterprise.png Entex Adventure Vision.png Entex Select-A-Game.png Epoch Cassette Vision.png Epoch Electrotennis.png Epoch Game Pocket Computer.png Epoch Super Cassette Vision.png Exelvision EXL 100.png Exidy Sorcerer.png Fairchild Channel F.png Fujitsu FM Towns Marty.png Fujitsu FM-7.png Funtech Super A'can.png Future Pinball.png GamePark GP2X.png GamePark GP32.png GCE Vectrex.png Handhelds.png Hartung Game Master.png Interton VC 4000.png iQue Player.png Jupiter Ace.png Konami Picno.png Lviv PC-01.png Magnavox Odyssey 2.png Magnavox Odyssey.png Matra and Hachette Alice.png Mattel Aquarius.png Mattel HyperScan.png Mattel Intellivision.png Memotech MTX512.png Microsoft MSX.png Microsoft Xbox 360.png Microsoft Xbox One.png Microsoft Xbox Series S.png Microsoft Xbox Series X.png Microsoft Xbox.png Milton Bradley MicroVision.png Mobile.png NEC PC-8801.png NEC PC-9801.png NEC PC-FX.png NEC SuperGrafx.png NEC TurboExpress.png NEC TurboGrafx-16.png NEC TurboGrafx-CD.png Nintendo 3DS.png Nintendo 64.png Nintendo 64DD.png Nintendo Color TV-Game.png Nintendo DS.png Nintendo Entertainment System.png Nintendo Famicom Disk System.png Nintendo Game & Watch.png Nintendo Game Boy Advance.png Nintendo Game Boy Color.png Nintendo Game Boy.png Nintendo GameCube.png Nintendo GameCube-purple.png Nintendo Pokémon Mini.png Nintendo Satellaview.png Nintendo Sufami Turbo.png Nintendo Switch.png Nintendo Switch-orig.png Nintendo Virtual Boy.png Nintendo Wii U.png Nintendo Wii.png Nokia N-Gage.png Northstar Advantage.png Oric Atmos.png Othello Multivision.png Ouya.png Philips CD-i.png Philips VG 5000.png Philips Videopac+ G7400.png Pinball.png Pioneer LaserActive.png RCA Studio II.png RDI Halcyon.png ReadMe.txt SAM Coupé.png Sega 32X.png Sega Beena.png Sega CD 32X.png Sega CD.png Sega Dreamcast VMU.png Sega Dreamcast.png Sega Game Gear.png Sega Genesis.png Sega Master System.png Sega Nomad.png Sega Pico.png Sega Saturn.png Sega SC-3000.png Sega SG-1000.png Sharp MZ-2500.png Sharp X1.png Sharp X1-orig.png Sharp X68000.png Sharp X68000-orig.png Sinclair ZX Spectrum.png Sinclair ZX-81.png SNK Neo Geo AES.png SNK Neo Geo CD.png SNK Neo Geo MVS.png SNK Neo Geo Pocket Color.png SNK Neo Geo Pocket.png Sony PlayStation 2.png Sony PlayStation 3.png Sony PlayStation 4.png Sony PlayStation 5.png Sony PlayStation Portable.png Sony PlayStation Vita.png Sony PlayStation.png Sony PocketStation.png Sord M5.png SSD COMPANY LIMITED XaviXPORT.png Super Nintendo Entertainment System.png Tandy Memorex Visual Information System.png Tandy TRS-80 Color Computer.png Tandy TRS-80.png Tapwave Zodiac.png Telegames Personal Arcade.png Texas Instruments TI-83.png Texas Instruments TI-99.png Tiger Game.com.png Tiger R-Zone.png Tiger Telematics Gizmondo.png TimeTop GameKing.png Tomy Tutor.png Unisonic Champion 2711.png Vector-06C.png View-Master Interactive Vision.png VM Labs Nuon.png VTech CreatiVision.png VTech Socrates.png VTech V.Flash.png VTech V.Smile.png Watara Supervision.png Windows.png Worlds of Wonder Action Max.png ZAPiT GameWave Family Entertainment System.png Zeebo.png Submitter The Papaw Submitted 12/20/2021 Category Platform Console Images

I so much agree with this. All the themes I have created with CTC run less smooth, even the sounds crackle when changing screens. Even with all BB Transition feature turned off. I went back to 12.4, then 12.5 and they run fine, but if I try an update, all the poor transitions and crackles re-appear.
-
Yes Sir, I had tried that one in the past sorta and it wasn't a good solution. Oh well, the answer is Always NO if ya don't ask, right?
-
Not sure if it is of any help, but I run most everything from a NAS. I have a old Dell PC (started with a RPi3 I think), installed OMV5 (it's free) on it. I have a 14TB external HDD attached to it for roms and a 2TB external HDD attached for the media. (I have other drives attached for other things as well, like a MediaSonic Pro Raid that hosts all my video, music and such, another 12TB in raid 5) and I use the internal drives I have installed in the PC for backups. I have LB/BB and all my emulators installed a primary desktop PC, then I use Syncthings to send it to all the other devices (I exclude some of the setting files in BB (especially the cache files) and emulator config files. That way no one writes over others game saves and settings. Works great for me. If I want to update LB/BB or an emulator, I just make a copy of the folder before I update it so I can go back if something goes wrong. What's cool about it, when I update LB or an emulator on the main PC, it updates it on all the PCs. I don't use anything wifi on the gaming side and the speeds are as always like any other external drive. Just some other ideas that may be helpful.

Thx for the reply. Since you can can manually point any game to any video, I was hoping maybe someone had wrote an app or script to do it in bulk...

I am looking for something that could cut down on multiple copies of videos for the same game, but yet on different platforms. Like Red Dead Redemption is on Xbox 360 as well as PS3. I have 2 copies of the same video, one in the 360 video folder and one in the PS3 video folder. Are there any 3rd party apps that can cut down on these? I have tried @starplayer app, it scrapes your local videos but it really isn't doing what I need. Looking for a way to assign multiple games to a single video, if that makes sense?

It's been a while and changes are always happening with the various apps trying to control the controllers. Currently, I am using DS4 Windows. I do not have it running at PC boot. I do start it when launching BB. Then I created a couple batch files to "end" or "start" DS4, depending on the platform. For example, I don't want DS4 to run with PS3 games I run in RPCS3, so in the emulator settings for RPCS3, I have this in the running script section: Run, "D:\Gaming\DS4W Off.bat" $Esc:: { WinClose, ahk_exe rpcs3.exe Run, "D:\Gaming\DS4Windows" } $Esc:: { WinClose, ahk_exe {{{StartupEXE}}} } You can also do exclusions with DS4 to do the same type of things now You could do something similar to this

Thanks and I appreciate your feedback, it helps me for improving the theme. I'm already working on tweaking things as far as speed and size. I found things can be sluggish as well with the Arcade Platform, especially if I delete the cache images in BB. It does get better after it rebuilds them, especially for large collections. Hopefully the next version will help with that, toes crossed

Sorry for the delay, had to run to town to get parts to fix water leak. What video resolution are you using? Maybe I can change mine to match yours and see if I can duplicate it somehow. I think I might have found it, sorry for the trouble, try this file: PlatformWheel1FiltersView.xaml I hope this was it. Thanks for your help as well.
