  1. Sorry Dave, in a text box, I used a bullet (ALT+7 in Windows)
  2. @y2guru Hey Dave, are you able to incorporate/look into special keyboards characters in CTC. Every time I try to use one, CTC throws an error and crashes. They do seem to sorta work in CTC, when you re-open CTC they are there and after you publish the theme, the theme is showing them. Just curious. Error.txt
  3. Dark Bounce View File This theme uses a dark rock wall background with blue-ish white shadows. This one works great on larger gaming rigs and folks that have their gaming media stored on a NAS. The video below was made on my main rig with 22,000+ games and all the media and roms being stored on NAS using mapped drives, Launchbox was installed on mechanical HDD. The video does much better showing the theme than the screenshots. (the bouncing and the slides) I used my custom icons for genres, play modes, number of players, custom controllers, etc.. I designed this one mainly for Large Screens and TVs (16:9), but this time I created it in Stretch Mode in CTC. This is the first theme I have tried using the Stretch mode, so if you run into strange looking issues let me know, preferably with screenshots, I am not sure how to properly test the other screen ratios yet, but from I was able to do, the theme was looking decent on the different views in CTC. This time I put a more focus on the Arcade (MAME) platform, using game specific Arcade Cabinets and the Arcade Controls (looks will depend on your artwork) as well as play modes specific to the Arcade platform. (the ones like 2-Player Alternating or 2-Player Simultaneous) if you use them. My custom Genre Icons have grown to over 300+ now (includes the PS template to make more if you need them) and I have over 100 controller images in this theme. The Platform audio I used was a male voice. I increased the volume a bit and added some reverb. Video (wall views in video are showing original version, version 2 is different-see changelog below): Installation: Download, unzip, copy the folder "Dark Bounce" into your Launchbox "Themes" folder. The Windows Media Player in Bigbox will work best with this theme You can also set the theme up to show if the game can be played in Virtual Reality, Online, PvP, etc. if you want. Artwork is included and already in place. Instructions for setting up the 4-5 custom fields can be found on my "Game On" theme page. (https://forums.launchbox-app.com/files/file/3256-game-on/). It's pretty simple. Thanks goes out to @y2guru, @faeran for there awesome contributions to CTC/LB/BB work and videos. Also @viking for his great stuff as well as @RetroNi. Some of the logos and videos used from their contributions. And of course anyone else I may have un-intendedly forgot to mention. Leave comments and suggestions and I'll see what I can do. Spring is here, so gonna be slowing down with this stuff. If I can keep away from it -Enjoy & thanks for trying the theme! Submitter The Papaw Submitted 03/22/2022 Category Big Box Custom Themes

  5. Thanks for sharing, these are great for themes
  6. Great job, thank you
  7. Awesome Dave, that would work much better than what I tried doing with the skews
  8. Thanks for taking your time to make these, much better set!
  9. Good Deal! thank you Sir
  10. Thats great, I thought a mighta seen something about it in one of your videos a while back, but wasn't sure
  11. I didn't figure you could, sure would help in platforms like arcade though. I am sure it could mapped to something or combo if it was available in BB. The answers always no if ya don't ask. Thx @y2guru for the reply
  12. Is there any way to add a wheel index to a wall view?
  13. Use too, if you had a video name with certain punctuation characters in it, it had to be replaced with an "_" (underscore), but in some like ":" (quotation) you could also use a "-" (minus). In the last release or two, this no longer works. Example: Star Wars Jedi- Fallen Order-01.mp4 (was working fine) Now I am having to go and change MANY videos named this way to use the underscore - Star Wars Jedi_ Fallen Order-01.mp4 Any chance this can be fixed in upcoming release?
  14. Thanks @neil9000. That did the trick. Never had that happen before, 'bout got me scared to run it again...hahaha
  15. Okay, got down to the last 88 video snaps, then it hung after last one and never finished the process. I closed LB, and re-opened it. It starts downloading the same 88 videos again and never finishes. It won't allow me to cancel either. Now my LB is stuck in a constant loop. Debug 2022-02-27 04-48-01 AM.log HOW do I get LB out of this loop?
  16. I have this issue as well. Also, when using the Update Media feature, trying to download video snaps for Arcade, it downloads 50-100 or so, then it hangs, I have to close LB and re-open to get it going again. With beta 3 it is resuming now when I re-open LB. I left it running all night and it only downloaded around 100 videos. After restarting LB, it downloaded that many in a few minutes. (media is stored on a mapped drive and haven't tried it with media stored on local drive) If it is of any help, it does seem to hang after I get an error or two, but not really sure
  17. That would do it, thank you Sir
  18. I really wish the sort could be fixed / added to this. So when you are importing game like Xbox, you could just click on the Extension Title and it would sort them by file type. You could delete the unwanted files so much easier. Hint, hint....
  19. Was doing a new build using 12.8.2. I was importing a platform and it was downloading from emu, I closed LB and it isn't resuming any more when I re-open it. UPDATED: Well, after opening it a couple times, I went ahead and was going to run finish downloading the media using the Download Missing Media feature, and it triggered it
  20. I am noticing a pretty big decrease in speed with themes that were running smoother in previous beta
  21. I forgot to update my post on the manuals. Emu errored almost all of them, it only downloaded a fraction of them, like less than 100
  22. So far, I can say that downloads have improved for me and so far had no errors with emumovies, but I have encountered one strange thing with downloading manuals. Only 18194 total games in collection, I used the Games Missing Data option, it finds 18183 missing manuals, the screenshot shows it's downloading 43858 manuals????
  23. I believe this issue is being caused by the Epic Games Integration login when it is being triggered. Trying to Log in and out of the account within LB does nothing to help. The best I can tell, it happened when I updated to v12.7.1. When I tried using the "Games Missing Media" and "Update metadata and media" features. (I may have said NO when prompted me if I wanted to log into the Epic account) The "EpicToken" was missing in the non-working versions and LB was not showing me the prompt asking if I wish to log in to Epic after that. That is where it was hanging on the "Initializing" When I updated to v12.17.1, I'm not sure when LB deleted the token or why it would no longer prompt for login, but after I fixed the Settings.xml file, it worked as expected. Of course when I would install v12.5 or v12.6 over top of broken v12.7.1, the Settings.xml isn't changed so I still had the problem. I know that there are some major migrations going on and @Jason Carr and others really have their hands full (BTW I am already seeing improvements as a end-user, thank you). Rant: Anyone notice how many times the log files I uploaded in a later post were downloaded. ZERO! Not one single time. Kinda sad to see. 😥
