  1. Sounds great. I used to play a fair share of flash games back in the day. I feel like there'd be something missing if it wasn't in my Launchbox collection.
  2. I was imagining something like this, although I have no idea how difficult that might be.
  3. I would very much like in somehow include flashpoint into my Launchbox collection. Let's hope that it'll be possible some day.
  4. "nearly 100000 roms (no duplication and all working" This sounds impressive. I can hardly believe that anyone has actually tested if all of their 100.000 roms boot, let alone "work".
  5. I gotta say, this is a great idea. Just added it today and I'm loving it! Thank you so much for your effort!
  6. Thank you so much for taking the time to post that! Feels great to at leat know that it's not an issue just for me. Well.... for the time being I think I'll stick to teh standalone Version of ScummVM and I'll check the core version form time to time. But please, if anyone has an Idea how to hotfix this issue, let me know ?
  7. Good point. I will try that. Although still weird that all the other games seem to work with the core. It's just this one game (which I would really like to play)
  8. Hey everyone, I already posted this problem on the libretro forums, but sofar nobody seemed to able to help me out over there, so I'm trying my luck here: Scummvm core works mostly fine, however Phantasmagoria 2 crashes upon launching. I get his error message in retroarch. Does anyone know what to do about that? If I hit retry on the window, retroarch crashes and shuts down. Debug shows me this error: ------------------- Error occurred on Saturday, March 28, 2020 at 11:52:45. retroarch_debug.exe caused a Breakpoint at location 00007FFC734C0BB2 in module KERNELBASE.dll. I'd prefer to use the libretroversion however, since it gives me the easy option to add a bezel and also I like how save states work in Retroarch. EDIT 2: Mabe someone who has this game can try launching it. This way I can rule out that maybe the issue lies with the scummvm core.
  9. Hey everyone, I have a no intro set of Commodore Plus/4 and all the file in there are in .bin format. I try launching them with retroarch xplus4 core to no success. I've been researching for hours and found out that I might need a certain command line to "attach" these cartridge files in order to load them. However, all the commandlines I've tried so far didn't work. I can load .tap files, .d64 files and .prg files just fine. I just can't get the no intro set working. What will happen if I try launching the games is that the default screen of the emuator will show up. Nothing else happens after that. If I use the standalone vice version for windows, I can attach te roms and they, so the files are not corrupt. I guess I just need the correct command line... Does anyone know what's going on here? EDIT: I also found this option in the retroarch menu: "Read 'vicerc'", "Process 'system/vice/vicerc'. The config file can be used to set other options, such as cartridges.", I have no idea however how to edit this file properly. I also couldn'd find anything online on how to set it up properly.

Awesome! I'm looking forward to it!

@eXo is there any way to import your Win3xO collection into Launchbox, similarly to how you would import the exodos collection?
  12. @Headrush69 Are there any news on this issue. I couldn't figure it out, unfortunately =/
  13. EDIT: you were absolutely right. Setting the aspect ratio to "custom" works perfectly. I have one more question about your first pack for Retroarch. Some of your configs (e.g. aof.cfg) point to: input_overlay = ":\overlays\neogeo\neogeo.cfg" However, in your zip file, there is no "neogeo" folder and also no "neogeo.cfg" file. I'm I missing something?
  14. I'm trying these for the first time, beautiful work Orionsangel! When I add them to Retroarch, the screen window is too small for 4:3 aspect ratio. Is there any way to automate the window size of mame so that the bezels fit? Doing all of that manually is quite the task...
  15. I've realized that and I think this is the single biggest problem with retroachievements. I alwas use the latest revisions, since that's how 1G1R sets are built. So for man of my favorite gaes, I cannot use retro achievements. It's a real bummer.
  16. Yes, I can confirm the strange button labels. There aren't any P1 buttons apparently. I can also confirm that apple2e works excellenty with -gameio joy.
  17. Hey, thank you so much for answering. Yes there are othergames with the same issue, e.g.: - The Last Ninja - Aaargh! and some more which I don't remember. As stated above, I also don't think it's a controller deadzone issue. I've also been using the -gameio joy slot option. There is also a Paddle option, but it doesn't work with these games. The info in your last edit is very interesting. Is there any way to find out why MAME has problems with the gameio joy slot?
  18. Hey everyone, I've got a little bit of a niche issue. I've been trying to get various computer systems working with retroarch's mame core with great success. I usually get the systems launching and manage to get ingame. However, I have an issue with Apple IIGS games that use a joystick (Many AppleIIGS games also seem to have mouse support, which works fine using a regular hardware mouseof mapping the mouse to my XBOX controller) So here is what I do and what happnes: 1. I launch an ApplyIIGS game with controller support. I'm using the game "Gauntlet" as an example: As soon as I have control of the game curser, the curser moves to one of the border sof my screen. Since I haven't activated the joystick slot within mame yet, I cannot control anything. However, I can use the arrow buttons on my keyboard to control the curser of the game, however, as soon as I let go of the buttons, the curser moves back to the edge of the screen. 2. I hit TAB and go to the mame options --> Here I insert a "joystick" plugin in one of the slots. 3. I reset the mame machine -->The game launches and has the joystick activated: Now I can use my controller to control the game curser, but as soon as I let go, thecurser moves to the side again. Here's what I've tried and didn't work: 1. I've tried increasing the controller deadzone within retroarch. This helped me with a similar problem when I tried to emulate philips CDi games. But in tis case, it doesn't work at all.It seems like controller deadzone isn't the issue (one more piece of evidence is that even with no controller activated, the curser still moves to the side) 2. I've tried to open the apple2gs.ini in retroatch/system/mame/ini. I found a "deadzone" line for joysticks, but it does nothing unfortunately. So maybe there is someone who has managed to emulated appleIIgs games with mame (or mame core in retroarch) and can help me out here.
  19. That might just be it. Windows can't handle files that have a too long path-name (not only file name). I've had to rename some files that had a too long file name. Just try it out. Also, 5855 games? Wow, I wonder how much space that takes up.
  20. I can't get it to work either... Retroarch doesn't even launch. The documentation on Libretro isn't very thorough to be honest...
  21. " First, you need a BIOS file. Make sure the file ‘IPL.n64’ is located in your /Mupen64plus directory. You can either use the subsystem for 64DD, or you can name the disk image the same as the ROM including" Does anyone know the command line for launch box to access the subsystem? Or have I misunderstood something here?
  22. I would like to know that, too. Also, what is the command line to launch the subsystem?
  23. I will, thanks for the advice!
  24. Hey everyone, Launchbox DB and Emumovies are missing some images and there are plenty of nice people out there who offer packs for specific systems (e.g. PS1 Disc images). If I wanted to manually add specific images / image types, how can I easily connect these images to my games within Launchbox?
