@Azgorath , thanks for reporting this! The Atari 2600 system is one of the few that fluctuates during shader execution. This can happen because the shader tries to scale the resolution automatically. Normally this is fixed when we set the screen format to 4x3 by shader parameters, instead of keeping it on auto. But it's still not a definitive solution. The shader creator is working on improved versions of the package. I encourage you to appreciate the work of HSM. Meanwhile, I'm working on fixes and at some point I might release an update, ok? Thanks again!- 29 comments

Launchbox does not appear in the add and remove programs list. I think it doesn't create entries in the system registry. If your games are already in correct disk, it might work just by moving the entire Launchbox folder and creating a new shortcut for it. If you need to change game paths, the game location paths are in \LaunchBox\Data\Platforms. It might work if you mass-edit all paths with an advanced text editor, replacing all values that point to the current path. But it may be necessary to modify other files as well. I suggest you test with a single platform before assuming it as a definitive solution:

Hi guys, I did new tests by renaming filenames to match the platform name. This solved the problem. Rename files in LaunchBox\StartupThemes\StartingTheGame-Dark For those with the same problem, just rename both files corresponding to each platform. Example: Nintendo Entertainment System = Nintendo NES Nintendo Entertainment System Shutdown = Nintendo NES Shutdown All good now! Hey @Hazuki, I think we need a white theme version now. What do you think? We also need more platforms. I couldn't find NEC console files. Do you have source files to share?

@faeran, I'm using Pulse theme alongside Colorful. I like the way the transition was implemented in Pulse. The biggest elements always load last. This allows faster browsing, no empty screen and give time for videos to load correctly. I think it would be nice to study this method and implement it in Colorful.

Hi @Hazuki Thank you for your support. It will be great to have one without clear logo game version. About the platform logo, I noticed it works when I have platform default names. In my test, the Nintendo Entertainment System platform was created as Nintendo NES, so it's loading screen shows default BigBox logo. And, about the loading bar, I never see it. The message always appears in text only, even if I launch a PSX game or another ISO game: I tested the default startup theme and what I have is text only and never a status bar. Tested with pure and compressed ISO. Nothing changes .

Hey @Hazuki, this start theme looks really good. But thinking not everyone uses fanart images, would it be possible to disable clear logo to avoid certain redundancies? And, why don't I have the platform name and the loading bar? This theme doesn't work as expected for platforms without default names. That's right?

@Mortalis, have you ever used the button to import files instead folders? In the next step you will have to combine it with a file type search via Operating System:

Why so many useless folders? In the image below, only the selected folders are currently in use: I realized it's an old standard that has never changed all these years. All platforms have dozens of folders that will never be used. Have developers thought about having laucnhbox create folders only when needed? Most of them will not even be used by any of the emulated systems. Is there any way to prevent this routine? Thanks in advance!

First of all, I have a question: didn't the exclusive Famicon games follow a boxing standard? Why don't we have an exclusive 2D and 3D box for the Famicom? There are several good Japanese exclusive games, many of them have translations even, but I can't find packs with same pattern. The result looks ugly in the lauchbox and BigBox games list: If I missed something, could someone help me with a link? Thanks a lot!

Hi all! Is this intentional? Anyone else with this problem? Downloading media for multiple games simultaneously works correctly for images only. When there is more than one game selected, videos are not downloaded. If only one game was selected, the file search also downloads video media. I know I can use EmuMovies Sync or FTP, but I thought I should report this which seems to be an error.

@faeran ,I have no color preference, I want to use the existing ones right now. I just want to correct the colors for the left side rectangles to match the current ones on the right side. ? From what I've seen, the offenders so far are Arcade and Handheld categories, but I think I saw subtle difference for consoles too. OK! For the portable category I apparently managed to solve it, adding the category that didn't exist. I'm wonder, there is a conflict for Arcade. In two views the colors match, but not in one of them: 🤔

Thanks for the quick response @faeran! WOw! Good to know that in the future we will be able to customize the theme more easily! I am using the trial version you are coding. Everything I have for xaml is in Themes\Colorful - Light Theme\Views. Any suggestions?

Hi @faeran ! While we don't have a new release for Colorful, I'm here editing the xaml files trying to fix color code. I have no coding and programming skills. Some platforms still show the default green instead of the expected color. I would appreciate it if you can tell me which files should I modify to fix just this green one. I'm wondering if the Colorful theme has the ability to convert the color code automatically for platforms with different names. Ideally, it should be based on the scrap chosen when importing games, am I right? Otherwise, we'll always have to manually add any platform that doesn't use default names. It also affects the logos i'm using here.
