  1. What file type are you attempting to play? I know Steam Trailers use webm and require you to install the codec for the videos to play correctly using WMP.
  2. Not entirely sure what you mean. You just want the wheel tighter (less space between items)? You got a screenshot of what you're hoping to achieve?
  3. I assume you have "Close Active Window" controller binding set and also have the controller options set to use all controls. Bindings right now don't detect which controller presses which button in the combination so if you are using all controllers and player 1 presses the first button in the combination, and player 2 then presses the second the system will see that as a completed sequence and fire the binding.
  4. LaunchBox saves a cookie to help reduce the amount of times you're asked, but we don't save your credentials to file anywhere as that would impose a pretty serious security risk to you. We don't ever see your input in those forms to save, we just get back a unique string from the website you logged in that we pass and they know that string belongs to your login.
  5. Typically it's better to ask about theme related issues in that theme's support thread. You're more likely for the dev to see it. I'll have to take a look at Steamy, I can't remember how I set the tree up. I don't remember collapsing everything, but it's entirely possible. You could change the theme files to make every extended like you're asking though. I'll have to track down where you make the change in it to do so though as that theme's code is pretty gnarly and difficult to maneuver through.
  6. LaunchBox controller support requires a premium license. Once you have the license you can adjust controller mapping/usage in the Options window.
  7. Yeah, sounds like you were using an endless wheel and just didn't have enough items in the wheel to fill up every slot so you were seeing the same item repeated several times to fill up the space.
  8. Both LaunchBox and Big Box has their own hide settings. Some of these settings hide games missing certain artwork. I'd make sure you don't have any of this settings selected. I'd also make sure the settings are the same between the two applications.
  9. You're trying to install a Big Box theme as a LaunchBox one by the looks of things. This theme goes in the Themes folder, not LBThemes.
  10. Can you clear your Big Box image cache and let me know if you still see that? If so can you post your image file so I can take a look and see if I can replicate it.
  11. I can't tell from your image because it's cropped so heavily. Where is the model element at? In the wheel or elsewhere in the theme?
  12. The feature makes Box group images use the model in CoverFlow views and the ImageView. I BELIEVE what you're showing is the latter but I'd need the full screenshot to be sure. 13.1 beta 1 is out and makes it so images with transparency DON'T use a model in the ImageView. You could update to the beta and see if it corrects what you're seeing.
  13. What you're showing is the side of the DVD case model. If you flip the case or rotate the model with the appropriate input binding you'll better see what I'm referring to. A box model doesn't have that edge to it and so if you wanted you could go to the platform in LaunchBox and edit it to change the model settings and tell that platform to use boxes instead of cases.
  14. As stated you CAN do this, it just isn't something that is in the native app. There are resources available to you to add that metadata to your collection so that you have the data point you want. Short of having a license (required for custom fields) there is nothing stopping you from doing this now with the instructions given to you.
  15. Yeah, that isn't a field I see us adding as it really is pretty specific to Arcade category. You could potentially set it with a custom field and use that to make a playlist, but really what @JoeViking245 already suggested would be your best bet.
  16. The image types used on 3D models hasn't changed, nor will it moving forward. The only change regarding images with transparency is that they aren't rendered on a model in a theme's image view. That view is (typically) the Box image displayed in the details area when a game is active in the games list or in the game details view. This has no bearing on the items in the wheel of the CoverFlow views (or any other view using a FlowModel)
  17. Only change made to the models is the rotation of clear logo's on the left/right spine. You are currently using override settings for that platform, you could try disabling them or altering them to see if it helps at all. I'm not entirely sure what you're seeing as the issue though.
  18. Steam games don't really play well with the Before/After functionality because the process we start isn't the true game process, it's that stupid "Launching Game..." popup Steam displays. Because of this the before/after logic fires before and after THAT window closes which isn't at all what you want.
  19. We've made no changes to the LaunchBox grid. If you have selected 3D Box as the Image group then it would make sense to see the 3D Box Image Type being used in the grid
  20. As of right now there is no way to order items in the carousel. It's something on our radar as a possibility but at the moment isn't in the app.
  21. 1) The issue is the game has image already has the case border, and then the model's border is being drawn as well so it looks like a border. This is what you're seeing. 2) I don't think we'll be dropping support for these image types, we just need to tweak the logic a bit. I've found a solution I like to fix this but it still needs internally reviewed before we push anything into the app.
  22. I was able to reproduce this issue and have corrected it in the code base. The corrections will be in the next beta release. Thanks for the report!
  23. If you're using the fullset importer you want to point to MAME itself and not RetroArch as the emulator. This will generate the MAME listxml file we use to parse your set with the correct version information. The RetroArch core can't be used for this process. Without that install there to get the information you will run into issue where some ROMS may not be picked up correctly because the information we're using at that point would be outdated for your set.
  24. Can you verify that you don't have a service named "nahimic" running via Task Manager. It causes a lot of graphical issues like that. Also are you running Intel Iris XE graphics? They have issues some times running WPF applications correctly. If running Iris XE in the Dell support app (I don't remember what it's called atm) you can force Anti-Aliasing off or on which should correct the issue for you.
