  1. @link182 You can automate the BLOAD"",R and CLOAD"" commands. For Binary coded games use lviv -ab bload\"\",r\n -autoboot_delay 6 -cass Once BLOAD"",R has been autotyped on the screen you can enable the UI controls, start the tape then disable the UI controls again. For BASIC coded games use lviv -ab cload\"\"\n -autoboot_delay 6 -cass Once CLOAD"" appears on screen, play your tape. When the tape has finished loading use the Delete key to RUN the game. Some games have multi-part tape loading, I never tried any of those out so not sure how they load.
  2. I emulate the VIc10 in MAME as a software list (Remove File extension and folder path tickbox set) and have no problems with games opening correctly through LaunchBox using the parameters vic10 -cart. I just tried things with that tickbox cleared and the games now only open to a black screen just like you are seeing. Not sure why as the games themselves are bin which is a MAME recognised media format.
  3. @Arty80 I use the same bezel image as you for the Alien Vs Predator game and can't see any difference whether the bezel is active or disabled in MAME. Have you checked your lay file to see if it's enabling another image as well as the game's bezel png?
  4. That is a LaunchBox Games Database platform duplication issue. The same occurs with the Mattel HyperScan and the Taito Type X platforms
  5. Added a new download file (12 titles) BBC_Micro_Norelco_Std_Update.zip
  6. Apologies for a pair of typos in my text list. intgirl should be intrgirl highsplit should be highsplt
  7. You're welcome. By the way, there's a media renaming tool in the Third Party Apps and Plugins section of the Downloads that may automate any renaming for you.
  8. @romatno See the text listing in the attached zip. arcade-romnaming.zip
  9. @bison3 The feature works fine for me. You could check under your BigBox Theme Specific Options that for your chosen theme the Show Hidden Games is not overriding the global setting.
  10. If your games marked as Hide are hidden in LaunchBox but not in BigBox, go to your BigBox Options General settings and check that the Show Hidden Games tickbox is disabled.
  11. Many thanks for this huge undertaking. The Part1 rar extracted fine. However, I got a Data Error message related to TSR9260 when extracting the Part2 rar. In the extracted folder under LaunchBox\Images\Dungeons & Dragons\Box - Back, the image TSR9260 - Official Game Adventure - B11 - King's Festival.png appears as a 0 byte file. Everything else is ok. This may be just me but I thought you might like to be made aware.
  12. Added a new download file (159 titles) BBC_Micro_Norelco_Dual.zip
Great to see that you also did the casette titles. I initially thought that the set only had the rom cart games going by the previews.
  13. I've just tested mine out again on MAME 254 and my original parameters still work. pegasus -bios -cart1
  14. I like the 3D Model feature but would prefer not to have to open the LaunchBox right sidebar in order to use it. Is there any plan to add the 3D Model Fullscreen View option to the right-click menu when a box image is right-clicked in the LaunchBox main (centre) area?
  15. Your gamecom parameters should not be part of your main ones. They, along with those of any other platform that you use Mame for, should be setup in the Associated Platforms section.
  16. Thanks for the new 3D Model override on a per-game basis. This feature is most welcome indeed.
  17. Thanks for these @edgemundo They've filled out my Sord M5 nicely. I'm now missing just Mappy and Zac Banic boxes.
  18. Version 1.0.2

    99 downloads

Seamless matching front, back and left spine images intended for use with the LaunchBox 3D Model feature. Almost all are derived from original retail box artwork scans so quality will vary. Non game titles such as educational, programming and utility are not included but the odd one may have crept in. This initial set consists of the download BBC_Micro_Norelco_Std.zip It contains 953 titles which were originally packaged for sale in a standard cassette (Norelco) case. Should any missing titles come to light I will upload them in a minipack update. Other sets (Dual Cassette, Card Box, Clamshell, Disk etc.) to follow later. Meow!
  19. In the Beta 1 Changelog posted above it mentions that a new visibility binding (ModelVisibility) for 3D Models has been added to the MainView in LaunchBox (for theme developers). What exactly is that and what does it do?
  20. Nice to see this old French micro getting some tlc.
  21. BeebEm doesn't use any command line parameters when set up in LaunchBox. Your posted image looks ok and I presume you have the Associated Platform set - if not you'd have had a prompt to do so. If your games launch directly with BeebEm but not via LaunchBox then it may be that LaunchBox is not aware of their location. Right click on any game in LaunchBox and open the Edit > Edit Metadata/Media option. Click on Launching and check that the ROM File path pointed to by LaunchBox matches the actual location of the game.
  22. I don't know if it's possible to actually remove the platform text names by editing an xaml. I just reduce the sidebar area to hide the names.
  23. Just curious if there's any plan for LaunchBox to officially add an option to display platform clear logos in the left sidebar as an alternative to the existing one of platform names with or without the little platform icons?
  24. @ericg384 The first two lines in your screenshot are just warning messages caused by your lay file, and your game and it's artwork should still work ok. The lay file can be easily edited to make these warnings go away. The third line in the screenshot is one I haven't seen before. It's hard to tell if it's due to your lay file or something else without knowing the game/artwork that's triggering it.
