  1. If you have a spare PC get an evaluation copy of Windows Server 2016 Essentials it comes with a 180 day trial and can be rearmed twice by the time the trial is over you will be able to get an eval copy of Server 2019 Essentials (The regular Server 2019 is already available for testing) It not only offers network storage but also allows you to create full back ups of all of the client computers you have and this is without having to join them to the domain (although this does take a little tweaking). Then you can become a full blown data hoarder like me and end up with drives for every letter in the alphabet. I use software called Stablebit DrivePool to create a virtual pool so all the content of the disks are listed as one drive.
  2. There have been other users in the past with excellent system specs and we just don't know what is wrong and why they are having the problems they are having. At that point I don't know what else we can tell you as we have no clue. I have multiple computers and I don't have those issues with them when running BB on my HTPC's and that is a i5 3330 with a 950 2 i5 6500 both with 750ti's and an i7 4700 with a 960 so you shouldn't be having issues but you are. I don't know what else to say except I'm sorry that you are having issues and we are unable to fix them for you. Since the program isn't working properly for you and you are unsatisfied I'm sure if you contact support@unbrokensoftware.com some one will be glad to refund your money to you if that is the route you want to go. Once again we are sorry that you are having performance issue in conjunction with the program.
  3. Glupen64 no longer exist it has all been moved back into Mupen64Plus or whatever the core is called again now
  4. If you were to overwrite your old games that are in LB with the full set of roms only the games that are already in LB would be in LB and the other roms would be there taking up space but wouldn't have any effect on LB itself
  5. I was answering a question for someone who asked what functionality isn't in the Next version I definitely wasn't complaining about it and I'm well aware of what is going on.
  6. I've seen good improvements but I have quite a few games that play terrible but I also have considerably more games than 30
  7. lol don't you hate when you go to emphasize a point like this and then misspell it.
  8. Just a heads up you say your computer will never see the internet I assume you won't be updating either Windows or LB. But if you do intend to run updates for LB you will have to keep in mind Jason occasionally switches the application to run on the newest version of .Net and MS has been known to stop .Net updates to older Windows 10 systems that don't stay up to date and at that point LB would break.
  9. There are no settings the top menu for LB doesn't even exist in it yet. You can launch games from the bottom menu from double clicking or right clicking and using the context menu. You can also edit games, and the bulk editor is working already. In the original release trying to download any images was causing it to crash though and I still haven't tested to see if that is the case but it hasn't been reported again yet. You can add individual games but drag and drop doesn't work and I see no way of doing any bulk import yet. So if you want to just browse through your library and play games give it a go if you need to add new games, audit, adjust font or spacing, set controller configs you still need to use the old version for now
  10. If you wanted to add shaders like BGFX or HLSL in MAME then yes it would benefit you if you have no interest in that then not so much
  11. Well for now you don't lose anything because regular LB is still packaged in with the download and will remain so until Next is fully functional with all LB features
  12. I'll tag @Jason Carr and @ETAPRIME to this post just in case but if you only sent the email to support yesterday you may just need to give it a little more time and I'm sure they will get back with you.
  13. yeah I'm drinking the RetroArch Kool-Aid to it has so much to offer and puts so many systems under one roof.
  14. sorry to hear that did 1709 install correctly?
  15. Audio mute = on sounds like it would shut off all your audio to me
  16. Do you have Windows set to scale at higher than 100%
  17. yeah try those cmd steps I posted and see if it lets the update happen and if worse comes to worse get a 1709 iso from MS make either a disc or a bootable thumb drive and do a reinstall
  18. could your scaling be effecting it.
  19. you can also try going to an admin level command prompt and type in sfc /scannow and see if there are any issues reported if none than you would run a dism check https://www.windowscentral.com/how-use-dism-command-line-utility-repair-windows-10-image
  20. get the iso of Windows 10 1709 off of there website and do a clean install it will recoginze your product key no issues.
  21. Are you running Nvidia GeForce Experience or MSI Afterburner Revo Tuner these have been know to cause issues and just yesterday some one had this issue and turning of Afterburner fixed it for them
  22. Well my friend if you don't understand what I'm saying then I guess I don't know what else to tell you. It has nothing to do with the 32X part as long as its telling you to switch disk then it is working right. I'll take one last stab at it but then I'm done. In RA there is a little icon that looks like a cog wheel go to that that is the settings press enter then scroll down to the category labeled directories press enter again. From there look for file browser press enter O nce there set the path to your games folder. I hope that is detailed enough.
