    yeah it downloads the update in the background now before prompting you so you can still use the program until the update is ready to install.

    Okay I'll try to explain it a little better every month MAME roms come out they come in 3 flavors either Split, Merged or NonMerged then these come in two flavors either updated or full sets then of these there are 5 types (with the caveat that the chd sets only come merged) they are rom chd software list roms software list chd's and bios set (bios set is redundant if you have the full sets though they are more for separate MESS usage). Hope that convoluted explanation helps

    Why the naming from the hash folders isn't integrated in LB or the DB I don't know when I mention it its like there is no interest

    it most definitely will have issues with those name. Have you looked in the folders though some times the software stuff will have mame names but the files inside will be normally named.

    I run LB/BB on some low end hardware a few Atoms (but all are Z series so a little newer) an AMD 450 Core 2 Duo T8300 and they work alright on there nothing spectacular but the interface works and the games run adequately in RA and MAME on these lower powered systems so really I don't know as Ive never tried it on that old of an atom chip. With the 1GB of RAM though I highly suggest in LB that you go into tools Options and turn the RAM cache all the way down to none.

    Okay so for some reason it isn't letting you save any of your changes. Have you tried restarting your PC

    so does this have to be manually configured for those games or will it just work when you play them.

    setting as admin can cause issues with other things then needing to be elevated in order to work with LB.

    so the platform shows up but there are no games in it? Can you go to manage platform and see if it list how many games it should have.

    Very strange you don't have any of the xml files open in another program do you? I know from past experience that if you try to make changes to the xml with LB open it won't save them.

    Seems like that app has a 200 file limit at least for me.

    oh just tried to add my whole DC library to that app at once it hasn't crashed yet but it may be unresponsive for some time.

    to do it in bulk you can use the media and metadata wizard in the tools just use ctrl+a to select all games in that platform and be sure to use the don't replace existing media option on the last page of the wizard.

    there is an option to scan platforms for new roms but it set to the default game path so if you are using your own path as in you didn't import your files into LB but left them in the directory you had them in prior then you will have to go to Tools>Manage platforms and edit the platforms and change the path to the one you actually use.

    the my collection feature as far as I know is in a nonworking state as of now due to lack of interest. When LB says that the DB is now up to date it just means that the local db that is in the LB program itself has been updated to reflect the changes that have happened on the online DB.

    no my bad they are the same build I just have the numbers mixed up. The full screen optimization checkbox will be under the .exes properties under the compatibility tab.

    Are you using the 08182016 build of Demul I've heard other people report they used the older version still due to issues. Also if your using Windows 10 try going into the Demul properties and check disable fullscreen optimization.
