  1. I don't know about anyone else but I believe that @syntax_X has become a toxic member of this community who only comes here to spew hatred and should be banned from the forums.
  2. Okay guess it doesn't work I saw it online I'm not an AHK expert so you would need some more knowledgeable than me I think @ckp may know some AHK and maybe he could help
  3. See if changing it to this fixes it. $Esc:: { SendInput{!F4} }
  4. yes that is force closing the emulator and that is why it doesn't save if you can somehow get escape to work as alt+F4 then it would save correctly
  5. Are you using the ahk script to exit the emulator in LB?
  6. yeah no worries my cats stand on my keyboard and do all types of funky shit to it.
  7. I would suggest getting a half way decent PC with at least an i5 processor 16GB or RAM and a Nvidia card but you can get away with less really depends on what you are willing to spend.
  8. yeah for some reason this topic is posted 5 separate times
  9. Yeah definitely do need a PC and as for specs they vary widely considering what your emulation and gaming goals are.
  10. just to point out when your talking wasted space and systems like NES, SNES Genesis/MD the whole libraries are in the MB range. For example I have 792 snes files in a folder its 661MB total so with 8TB HDD's starting to become the norm (and there are even larger drives looming on the horizon) saving such a minuscule amount of disk space isn't really worth the effort.
  11. If you have the additional apps setup then you go to the platform you want and select it to get to the games list then select the game and they should be there in the game detail view.
  12. Yeah EmuCR says 171012 but when you get the file its labeled correctly.
  13. If you right click shinobi and edit it what is the name of the rom file its using mine is shinobi.zip and its single screen if yours is a different rom just edit that part in the path.
  14. The BitBucket has options for feature request, bug fixes and improvements.
  15. Well if you have a lower class microSD card and it works fine from there it would be an indicator that a better class card would get even better results.
  16. yeah I was just about to chime in and say exactly that.
  17. I know for the games on my SD (almost all 8 and 16 bit) they play fine with no issues but due to the systems limitations I've never tried any of the systems you mentioned on these machines so can't really guess about the performance
  18. Its a factual thing that the speeds on SD/microSD are slower than USB 3.0, that said I have 2 tablets using microSD for LB and they are adequate I guess as the specs are low and expecting lightening quick speed would be silly. In BB mode loading images is a slow down on the tablets I've never thought about it being the cards fault and just blamed it on the low system specs but that could be contributing to the issue. Have you tried messing with the power settings for your USB in Device Manager you can usually tell the PC not to power down ports and that could keep your drive from spinning down.
  19. Are you using a special sort order for either of those playlist I had an issue with serious slow down trying to sort series playlist by release date but it went right away when listing them normally.
  20. Hello and welcome to the community! Its been said by the dev that Windows 10 is the best OS for LB supposedly some of the .net code is optimized for it (or something like that) but with that said there are plenty of folks here still using Windows 7 without any issues. When BB is freezing it is probably actually just losing focus and a mouse click or alt tab will refocus it
  21. I don't know then the MAME.exe should not open notepad it should open MAME's built in UI so I suggest you try to get another copy of the program and try again.
  22. You can have it activated on as many machines as you want as long as they are all yours.
  23. You would have to request that be added. If you are referring to the check box already there in associated platforms for default emulator that only effects the platform when you are importing games so unchecking that has no relevance to what emulator you are currently using and would only auto populate that field if you where to import more ROMs for that platform.
  24. Okay if you want to edit your default emulator for the platform go to the platform select a game and then press ctrl+a then press ctrl+e this will open the bulk edit wizard when you get to the form in the wizard with the drop down box type e and choose emulators then change it to your other emulator. Now all of your SNES games will use the other emulator. To completely remove Retroarch from the launch with menu go to manage emulators choose RetroArch and edit it. Go to the associated platform tab on the form and remove the SNES platform entry.
