    To make a playlist you right click on a game and that is a new option in the context menu you can either add it to an existing playlist (which you won't have at 1st) or start a new Playlist you can also use ctrl and select multiple games and then right click and add them all to a playlist at the same time

    Just build your own PC (not an option for a laptop) you can get better specs for less money if you put in the effort.

    Nice I saw that in the settings but didn't disable now you have explained a little better I'll be switching that on this RA update has been huge so far

    yes you can use roms with regular naming but the software list should be added to the naming they are pretty easy to get and the data is already included inside of MAME when you download it

    SFC keeps failing to complete on the computer so F it I'm doing a clean install. This PC was updated from Windows 7 to Windows 8, 8.1 and then finally 10 so starting fresh probably won't hurt

    I did that before posting used every XML in the folder. I ran a chkdsk on the SD card and there were some corruption issues don't know if that was it like i said I switched PC's and it worked fine using the same drive letter as on the tablet on the laptop I tested it with. Since changing the path everything works just don't know what it was.

    If you use the software list it is looking for MAME short names but not the same ones from whatever we are using now for MAME naming so the software lists don't get the proper naming convention and without access to the data in the Software List xml files that contain the short name and the title it won't be able to name them correctly the xml files with all the data are included in MAME in the hash folder it would be great to see these added to the MAME naming.

    Okay really weird popped out the SD card this is all installed on and tested in another PC working fine then I ejected the card put it back in the original tablet and get the error message again. So then I change the drive letter to the SD card to match the path that LB is looking for and it is working again but I'm really confused as to what caused the issue to begin and why it worked with the D: path on my other machine but it won't on this particular one.

    In your emulator settings do you have attempt to hide console checkbox checked.

    In BB you can specify which is primary and which is marquee so if you changed them in Windows you could always change the settings in BB to be what you need and I know RA and MAME at least have the ability to specify which monitor you want to use so I'm sure you could get it working how you want it with a little tweaking.

    I'm running into issues where when I stop either LB or BB it is coming to a point where it crashes because it is trying to create a path to E:\Emulators\LaunchBox\Music\Platform (I put the generic platform because I've seen the issue now with two different platforms in the error message the issue is this tablet only has two drives C and D so of course the program trying to install anything to an E drive will cause an issue I perfectly understand that. I've used NotePad++ and opened every XML in LB folder and can't find anything looking for any type of E; path so this error is so weird.

    I get full screen no problems just have to check the checkbox in the video settings I'm sure you've tried that so I'm not sure what is giving you the issue.

    I would suggest just going with RetroArch if you are already using it. ZSNES is supposed to be a fond remembrance now days not your go to SNSE emulator.

    I used the gui to map it and there is a checkbox to reconnect at sign in it is checked but on this specific laptop it throws an error for the drive everytime possibly it times out before the network starts up, I don't really know. I just know its mapped the same way my other computers network drives are and they all work fine.

    yeah I have a weird issue on one laptop where the network drive isn't connected until I click on it for some reason and it cause that issue in LB it says if failed to reconnect with a red x but the second I click it it opens up and then the games work again

    you can also just click the add button in the bottom right corner to add a single rom or ctrl+n does the same thing

    I agree with Neil being proactive about a systems images and data is a good idea.

    Actually I use it for Atari 5200 not the computer stuff hope the trick works for that also

    If the issue is the shader why not just make a copy of your RA folder and point LB to the 2nd in stanceand set that one up how you want and use it for one or the other.

    Cool I'm using MAME but looking for something better Altirra seemed good but the setup was a pain in the ass
