  1. No worries here I'm running Windows 10 on everything too.
  2. These all seem like pretty cool ideas let us know if you need anyone to test them.
  3. I've said that I'm totally against this idea before and will again but if implemented I hope that it will opt in as if I want to permanently delete things I will just use File Explorer I don't want my frontends to be able to change my directories in anyway.
  4. I've never tried this but couldn't you use the options to use MAME naming on the second to last form to scrap games for Demul. Edit Just tested this and yes this will get you proper naming for Demul Arcade games.
  5. I prefer the UI versions since it makes it easier to set things up how you want. I have all vertical games launch on my Vertical monitor and the horizontal games on my 50 inch Samsung. I wouldn't have a clue how to accomplish this with MAME but it is extremely easy to set up in MAMEUI
  6. Damn that does suck I just started using it guess its back to MAMEUI.
  7. I think there needs to be a warning message that explains this when you go to delete a platform this may prevent the issue from coming up over and over which isn't the users fault because this is one of the more obscure and less intuitive features in LaunchBox. Or even better an option that asks you if you want to delete the ROMs from LaunchBox when you go to remove a platform.
  8. I'd like to see an open emulator folder added to the context menu myself.
  9. I guess it would be to much to hope that it is wireless. I have two sabrent six button controllers with are great for playing MAME fighting games as all the buttons in a row is more natural than setting the shoulders as a punch and a kick (its not horrible but prefer the 6 button layout). I just want to have wireless controllers unless I'm playing at my desktop but since I have 4 HTPC's I usually don't do much gaming at my desktop computer.
  10. Glad to help Also I now know how to get into the core options which I wouldn't have know if you didn't elaborate.
  11. This page here under options says that you can set the BIOS language in the core options menu.

    Videos

You can dump them in your LaunchBox folder in the video folder add them in a folder named after your platform. I know for MAME you may be able to find other sources of videos without doing your own work.

    Videos

To get videos from EmuMovies you do need a license. If you find your own videos you can add them. You will have to update all your platforms using the update Metadata and Images from the tools menu. Yes the videos work in BigBox.
  14. Yeah I've never had a Sega game glitch out on me like that I'll check the frame limiter thing out as I said everything was going great up to that point I liked that I didn't even need to config my controller too that was pretty nice. Is there a way to get back to RA from in the game I haven't looked around yet but it seemed that the only buttons that worked were a, b and start which is accurate for SMS but I've heard mention of overlays and menus to save and some such.
  15. I assume that most of the users on here are somewhat older and grew up with a lot of the systems that they emulate so I doubt you are much older than the average LB user. The 76 in my user name refers to when I was born so I got OG status myself.
  16. Ok in the latest build 14271 of Windows Insider Preview (and the last few before it also) Kega Fusion is forced into Graphic compatibility mode when you start it so is stuck in 800x600 resolution. On a few of my TV's this isn't that bad of a problem but on one of my Sony's 800x600 is a tiny box with black borders all around it so due to the fact that Kega will probably never be updated ever again I decided to update my Sega stuff to RA. I'm using the Gens GX core and Picodrive. Today wasn't the first time I've ever got RA running but it was the 1st time that I ever tried to play an actual game using it. I tried Fantasy Zone using the Japanese version, since I have like 10 games in a Sega Mark III platform with the Japanese boxes I decided to experiment with those before changing my whole Master System library. I went into the settings in RA turned up the volume because for some reason it started enabled but turned all the way down then changed the video settings to display in 16:9. I started my controller and then the game, everything seemed to be going great ,but then when I got to the 3rd level boss n the midst of battle everything on the screen shook like there was an earthquake. After that I was hurtling through the before game demo at hyperspeed over and over. This was with the Gens GX core it kind of has me put off on using it and I may have to mess more with the Gens+ but I tried that for 32X games the other night and was disappointed in how it performed. Basically Kega no longer being under development is a huge hit to Sega emulation IMO. I plan to give RA a few more tries but I am disappointed with my 1st real experience using it.
  17. That shouldn't matter your can make any platform you want in LaunchBox just because something isn't in the list doesn't mean you can't put it there yourself.
  18. Did you reinstall again or did you use diskpart to remove those partitions I know that most of those partitions aren't accessible unless you use Diskpart and then you still have to put in an override into the command line in order to delete the partition
  19. I edited my post as the issue fixed itself.
  20. I don't know if this is a new bug or not but I just downloaded a few manuals but after downloading them the option to view them from the context menu is greyed out. I went into my LB folder and the manuals are there and I can open them outside of LaunchBox. EDITSorry about this post it seems that they just weren't available seconds after I added them they are fully accessible now. It must take a minute for the XML to register the changes.
  21. I just went into tools>options>EmuMovies and clicked the test button LaunchBox says that I am successfully logged in.
  22. I understand that. My LaunchBox folder on this computer is 65GB I have a 500GB SSD, 5TB, 1TB and 500GB data drives in this computer with over 11,000 games most of which I'll never play either.
  23. Go into your Genesis platform and hit Ctrl+A this will select all of your games then go up to tools and click download Metadata and Images this will open a wizard run through the wizard and the only think you have to watch out for is one of the form will give you opitons to replace all of your metadata download new metadata but not change any existing fields and a third option that I can't recall exactly what it says just choose the don't change any existing fields option and this will scrape all of the missing available files from EmuMovies I've done this my self to retroactively add stuff to my files so it should work like a charm.
  24. I don't know using just one key would be kind of iffy since it would be too easy to mistakenly exit out of your game.
  25. Yeah I like the idea for both the context menu and a keyboard combination (because all the context menu items with the exception of launching the emulator already have key combos anyway)
