  1. I just tried out the latest version 1st it was missing MSVCP120D MSVCR120D and VCOMP120D .dll files after downloading the 2 MSVC files and VComp120 and changing it to Vcomp120d I can get the bios to run I choose a game but then it opens to the setup screen asking to setup the time and date the left and right arrows move the cursor no problems but if I press up or down the program crashes I don't know if it is just this build but I would say that this is a long way off from being functional for end-users. Also at this point it has no GUI at all.
  2. Something like JoyToKey or XPadder would work you just map the button presses to the keyboard keys that you would use to play Minecraft and you should be good to go. XPadder is a paid program but it is pretty good at what it does.
  3. You need to be running the beta to have the MAME parser option though so if you aren't on the beta you won't see it.
  4. Did you by chance move your games into LaunchBox and not change your directory path in MAME. That surely causes issues.
  5. My bad I'm not trying to be a dick or anything I just don't see why you would want BigBox in grid view I feel like it would be like using LaunchBox. I voted for BigBox and I find it to be very attractive looking but I always find myself using LaunchBox (on the couch, in bed or at the kitchen table) because I find it to be more usable. Yeah if I have people over and want to show off my setup I'll show them BigBox. I have been using double B a little more lately though because after adding the videos from EmuMovies it really pops. Again I apologize I wasn't trying to be an asshole.
  6. BigBox has a grid view its called LaunchBox
  7. If you go into tools and then options you can join the beta in the latest beta there is an option during the import to not load any clones this helps out a bunch. If it is taking long on import that is because your computer is downloading all the metadata from over the internet so it takes some time when you don't get any images it goes much faster because you are downloading a lot less data.
  8. Yeah you would just configure that game so that joy 1 would be for Player 1 and joy 2 for Player 2.
  9. Tested it myself and yeah if you set both controllers separately then controller 2 doesn't do anything but the coin and start but if you set both controllers to player one then it works it seemed that you had to set the player 2 joystick first and then add joy 1. It seemed to be a good solution to me. I'm using MAMEUI64
  10. So you can't set the player one settings in MAME to use both controllers. This way they would both work you would just need to make sure that no one was pressing buttons while the other player was playing.
  11. I don't know if this is correct but in a way it kind of makes sense those machines would have two coin slots and two start buttons but only one controller since players are taking turns having two controllers would add to the cost. So since MAME is just emulating the machine it may only support one input from controls. I would try setting the controls for player one to both controllers if possible I know you can select multiple buttons to do the same thing in MAME so maybe you can set up multiple buttons on different controllers. Also when it is player two's turn does the player one joystick still control it or do you have no controls at all for player two if you don't then this suggestion probably won't work.
  12. I've been reading about Cemu too and have to admit its pretty exciting I can't wait until it is ready to go.
  13. 3DS has Citra which is almost the same as having no emulator but it is under development and their page says it can run Ocarina of Time so who knows what the future will bring http://citra-emu.org/. EDIT I see Clive beat me to this.
  14. I actually have LaunchBox installed on two tablets and a stick PC one of the tablets and the stick both have 2 GB of RAM the other tablet has 1GB of RAM all have the same Atom processor both of the 2GB of RAM PC's worked adequately with LaunchBox with almost 1000 games added (only front covers in the images though due to SD restrictions) the 1GB of memory tablet worked fine until I added a lot of games and then I was getting out of memory errors from LaunchBox after turning the caching down to almost zero LaunchBox works pretty good on there too. Brad is definitely correct in this limiting which systems you can emulate I have mostly 8 and 16 bit systems on them and they all perform well when trying to go N64 on the 1GB machine it stutters quite a lot and is unplayable. I don't bother with BigBox on my tablet I simply use LB. While it will only play older systems it still makes an awesome handheld with my Ipega telescoping Bluetooth controller. The PC's with the 2GB I haven't tested as thoroughly I know they play all the systems that the 1GB machine does but I don't think I've ever tested N64 or PS1 on them.
  15. I use DTLite.exe for my games. It is a little convoluted on getting them to work right some use a .bat which I have personally had very little success with. I used to make two additional apps for each game Mount and Unmount now I just set up Daemon Tools as the emulator make an additional app to Launch SSF after the image is loaded. In order to get this to work though you have to do a bulk edit on all the Saturn games and set the emulator value to blank if the emulator is still checked the game won't start.

    Broken post

Someone posted a Merry Christmas Post yesterday in the monkeys section that you can't open every time you click it it just takes you to the monkeys section again. I was hoping you could remove it since it doesn't work probably do to the emojis in the title.

    RocketLauncher

You can add anything to LaunchBox I currently launch Plex, and SlingPlayer in an applications platform that I have created in LaunchBox. I usually just go to manage emulators under tools and add the .exe for the application then drag the .exe into LaunchBox add it as a ROM file and place it under my application Platform. I've also setup a comic book reader which involves adding the .exe for CDisplayEX in the emulators section adding Comics as its associated platform and then dragging and dropping .cbr/.cbz files into LB and adding them under my comics platform. There are multiple users who use LB with Rocket Launcher I'm sure some of their posts would be able to help you out.
  18. Well I can't build any more computers for at least two years (unless there is a catastrophic failure) so I will have to remember it for the future.
  19. Never been to PCPartsPicker before looks like a good place to research a new build I know doing it on your own can be a pain in the ass checking for compatibility for everything. I actually set out to build one PC but ordered a DDR 3 board when I already purchased DDR4. I built the second PC because I didn't want to get hit up for the restocking fee on the return. I used a PSU, RAM and a graphics card that I already had from a PC that stopped working.
  20. I would spend the xtra loot and get a new 6th gen Intel processor because why build a new PC with old parts I just built two gaming HTPC's this month one with an Asus Z170i which is a smaller ITX board with only one PCIe slot which can be a deal breaker for some it has a Core i5 6500 16GB or DDR4 and a EVGA GeForce GTX 750TI. The second PC was with an Asus Z170P-D3 which also has a i5 6500 16GB of DDR3 and a EVGA GeForce GTX 750TI (but it is only half the size and doesn't have a plug from the PSU so I'm a little confused by how they have the same name on the card). Also SSD prices are way down from what they were and I always install my system on a SSD I added 5 TB drives to both my new builds to handle my PS2, PS1, GC and Wii libraries which can get rather large. I went into about $800 worth of debt and spent a few hundo out of pocket as well but I am happy with both systems so far. What ever you decide good luck with your build. I know building systems is always a fun experience.
  21. Bought premium EmuMovies membership the other day and can confirm that if you have a premium license then LaunchBox does download the video files.
  22. Damn free give away is the way to go to generate web traffic. I'm giving my license to my nephew if I win as I already have premium. I'm giving him a used desktop for Christmas with LaunchBox all setup and the emulators pre-configured.
  23. What sucks is I didn't take VR in to account when I bought my new GTX 960 because I read a few days later that you need a 970 to utilize VR.
