It always put metadata right in my video folders when it was XBMC (but the last version before they switched)
-
Both are top notch I do prefer Plex though because they don't clutter up your video folders with metadata files which Kodi does I do support full media support just because the other guys don't have a gaming section on their front ends and i would love to see the comic, ebook feature that Plex doesn't support. Kodi does have comics but the reader is terrible with no way to configure any changes.

I've been wondering the same thing recently when I started to think about the decals. I say let the users chime in and let you know if they would be interested in merch.

Increase load time over ISO or over Gzip
-
Yeah I don't think I have any CSO files though nor do I know where to obtain any. So unless I can some how convert my ISO's to save space that doesn't help me out I'm sure that it will be better all around though.

Thanks Clive just grabbed it and installed got it up and running it looks nice I have to go back and read what improvements they have made. Will test it for a little before I replace the version I have set up in LaunchBox.

Do you have that AHK script for Demul? Click tools then manage emulator find Demul in your emulator list then click edit. When the new form opens the third tab is for Auto Hot Key make sure the script is listed there if not paste it there and then try it out. Sorry in advance if you actually know how to navigate through LaunchBox and my step by step directions are unnecessary.

I'm on 0.7 Alpha build date sep 23 2015 not sure if that means yours is newer than mine if you click about it shows the build date. Here is the AHK script that Jason has under the AHK tab in the manage emulator section ; This section closes Demul when pressing Escape $Esc:: { Process, Close, {{{StartupEXE}}}

I believe that in one of the more recent builds of Demul it does work I just tested it on a Dreamcast game and it worked I'll have to test it with my other system that has the Demul arcade games on it when I'm done cooking.

I don't think I've seen anyone ever ask for that one. You can add it to the BitBucket repository by clicking on the Report issues/Feedback link at the top and if it is voted up because others are interested then it could happen. Or if by some means you could parse the XML and find the relevant data and make a CSV or a spreadsheet but I don't know of any tools that will do this

You can switch LaunchBox to detail view and it looks like a spreadsheet.

Cool Idea Stimpy. I personally don't do physical calendars anymore because I'm a strictly digital kind of guy. I'd personally like to see a nice LauchBox decal that I could stick on my HTPC's.

Corpse Killer Night Trap Supreme Warrior Slam City with Scottie Pippen These 4 games have both Sega CD and Sega CD 32X roms the 5th game Fahrenheit I can only find a CD 32X version for so if there is a regular CD version I've never seen it the 6th game is a unicorn. In Kega Fusion you need both the Sega CD Bios and the 32X Bios I figure you are using RA so I don't have a clue what you need to make that happen

I was looking at Mad Dog McCree yesterday which is only a Sega CD game and boy does it look atrocious (appearance not the game I couldn't stick with it long enough to make any judgement on the game itself).

Welcome and don't worry about your English most of ours is terrible too and we are from America.

If you are using MAMEUI you can have MAMEUI launch the vertical games on your vertical monitor that is what I do. Actually I just reread your post and I am assuming that when you say you change your primary monitor that you have a vertical monitor also that you are changing it to. If not just ignore my inane ramblings. If you do have a secondary vertical monitor just go to the game in MAMEUI and right click on it and choose properties then you can choose which monitor you want to launch even better you can go to Vertical option in the side bar and right click that follow the above steps and all your vertical games will launch on the vertical monitor.

Yeah I have 5 out of the 6 CD 32X roms Surgical Strike is supposedly extremely rare to the point that people thought it was a myth for awhile I don't know if it has ever been dumped but I can't find a copy of it. It was only sold in Brazil.

Changing paths is simple first you open Notepad++ (download it first if you don't already have it and then install it) second open your LaunchBox XML (You should back it up first in case something goes wrong you won't be totally screwed) then you go to search and click on find when in find put in the path as an example originally I had my roms set up on my Windows Home Server so the path was \\WHS2011\Emulators\NES\NES ROMs so type in your path and then click the count button and see how many instances that you find if it looks right then you click the replace tab and a second text box will appear with the first path still showing in my case I wanted to have LaunchBox look in a local directory I had made which was E:\Emulators\Nintendo\NES\Roms then i click replace all and save and then I go back to find type in my new path and click count again to make sure that it made my changes. From my experience when you do the final changes it is important to have LaunchBox closed already then reopen it after checking that your count is now registering under your new path. As to your reference to it being a hassle what do you mean? Once roms are linked it should be as simple as click and go now your emulators may need to be configured properly but that really doesn't have anything to do with LaunchBox. I know from experience that it would be much easier if LB could easily change directories on a whim but since at the present moment it can't this method is pretty simple in making what you want to happen actually happen.

I'm proposing a Raffle w/proceeds going to LaunchBox development!

We have a Denon in our living room it is connected to our Set-Top box my HTPC an old ass DVD player (which gets no use) and a Bluetooth speaker adapter. It isn't the best system in the world but it sounds great non the less. I personally don't have any need for another sound system I already have a Sony 5.1 surround system that is sitting in the basement collecting dust. I use Logitech speakers on my other 3 HTPC's and on my multiple monitor desktop (3 5.1 systems and a 2.1 system in the kitchen were my space is limited). -

I've been spending the last few days messing around with Sega CD games after I realized I was missing quite a few titles from my collection after adding them I've been testing a few of them and I've noticed that all of the live action games look terrible through emulation now I have never experienced any of these games on the Sega CD itself but I can't imagine that they sold anything that looked that bad on your TV. Does anyone know of any plugins or filters that help improve the quality of the picture. If so let me know I most likely won't be playing any as I've read that most of them are terrible (but I rarely trust other peoples opinions) but I would like them to look better just in case.

Sega CD Fusion - "Press Reset to open CD Tray"
DOS76 replied to mrserv0n248's topic in Troubleshooting
Funny I've been working on my Sega CD collection the last few days adding a bunch of ROMs and mine work fine which version of Fusion are you using. Do you have your CD drive set to none under options. -
I was sitting at my Kitchen table watching Sherlock on my HTPC and browsing on one of laptops when my cat jumped up to beg for food and knocked my ice tea over onto my laptop. I immediately grabbed it and turned it over then about 10 seconds later it shutdown. I have had it lying face down since and I removed the back cover and didn't see any liquid on the bottom of the case or on any of the components accessible from the bottom. I don't believe that much liquid got in but I have it drying out now. Any one have a similar experience with getting their laptop wet and then having it working again afterwards.

Also you can skip the drop down list and just type in what you want to name the platform.
