  1. Just want to add you can only do what Neil described once a day
  2. It should automatically update if you have the beta builds turned on.
  3. you will have to contact the author of Arcade and ask him to do a spinoff called Console64
  4. I went to manage emulator in LB and editing MAME's associated platform tab I added Sega Genesis as a platform and put in genesis -cart as the command line then I saved that I then exited the menu and went back to LB right clicked the game went to Launch with menu and choose MAME and it started right up just like I knew it would as I've experimented with Genesis games in MAME before.
  5. Works perfectly fine for me in MAME using either MAME software list from the UI or launching the No Intro version from in LaunchBox.
  6. there is section called box back reconstructed and box front reconstructed these categories would be perfect for unofficial artwork
  7. Okay I have a 0.197 build of Arcade on my HDD and I tried to test this out and couldn't find any options to play Genesis games so I started looking around and it turns out that there are barely any hash files in the hash folder which is basically where MAME gets the info for software list stuff so I copied my hash files in and now I'm waiting for it to rescan my games and see if Genesis is then listed if not. It may just be that Arcade doesn't want to work with MESS stuff and you may either be forced to use RA or the MAME stand alone version. I'll edit this post when my ROMs finish scanning in and I know more.
  8. I don't know what extra files would pertain to.
  9. I see from looking over the 1st post though that you do indeed have a license so shouldn't be an issue at all.
  10. You can download automatically through Emumovies but LB has nothing to do with HS media so that is something you would have to add on your own. There will be an option to add your EmuMovies user name and password while importing this will allow you to download the videos. I'm pretty sure that it may only be a premium LB feature though so if you don't have a license I don't think you can even use videos,
  11. Wait you can play games after you set them up that is a novel concept.
  12. Video info is kept in the Platforms.xml in the Data folder it isn't on a pregame basis it just shows which folder you have set for that specific platform.
  13. If that is what you wish to do you won't see anyone tell you not to
  14. At the same time probably not everyone can understand English either thus them typing in Spanish or Portuguese (or any other language for that matter) to be honest we don't ever tell anyone what language to post in and if you are interested in what the post says just run it through Google translate or ignore it.
  15. right click the Launchbox.exe and go to properties then go to the security tab and see what type of permissions are set.
  16. yes I understand that and that is exactly how I have my install set up I'm saying the issue is that Windows is giving you problems with permissions for the program that isn't normal and shouldn't be happening.
  17. The error message is based on you not having the rights to create a settings.xml which LB needs to run. Its saying you don't have permission.
  18. It isn't normal that you don't have access to a data drive on your computer. If you are the computers administrator you should have full access to all drives.
  19. In fusion you can try right clicking the exe and going to properties then into the compatibility tab and turning off full screen optimization and DPI scaling.
  20. Just to add on I don't think that command will work for PC Engine CD it is weird and you need to load the bios and then put in the full path to the game its PITA.
