What's the name of the rom ? I suppose it is always possible that it is one of the few games that could have some emulation issues. As good as Genesis GX is it is not 100% accurate so there are bound to be some games with issues.

Just tested with Bodycount and it works fine.

Ahh, my bad, I wasn never too into light gun games let alone Menacer games. It's been a while since I looked at light gun games with a mouse but it did work the last time I did look into it. Does it work with other lightgun games like Bodycount ?

Sorry, I haven't run into this issue and I use Demul for Dreamcast as well.

I have never tried this myself but id imagine it wouldn't spit out any errors but if you tried to load games that are on the removable media with the media not connected those games won't work. It would have no problems with the files as long as the drive letter is the same as LB is expecting them to be.

The problem is that the Split and Merged sets have files that aren't actual game roms but are required for certain games to work. Neogeo.zip and Qsound.zip are just 2 examples, these 2 bios files are required for NeoGeo and Capcom CPS2 games to work, there are others as well but that's the main obvious ones. It is possible to do what you are asking I am sure but it would be an annoying task to do. If you want a pared down set I would suggest getting a Non Merged set and pull individual rom files out of that and build your customized set, I have done this for my No Filler project.

Yeah doing this for Split and Merged sets would be extremely difficult. Non Merged would be much easier to do this with but that full set is 110 gigs to download and store.

Can you show the exact command line parameter you are using ? A screenshot would be good.

The new importer is meant to be used with a full set of roms, it imports based off the Mame data file and not the actual roms in your rom folder. For hand picked sets such as my No Filler set you should be using the old import method.

I use Split but it doesn't matter with the new Mame importer.

I used the official command line Mame 200 for the import.

Launchbox could be caching your images, you will notice a small progress bar at the top of the Launchbox window if it is doing that.

Those might be clones of them but if you imported prioritizing North America region they should be under Pac-Man and Phoenix.

Depending on the region you selected they might be under a different name, Puckman would most likely be under PacMan and Phoenix should be there, it imported as Phoenix for me prioritizing US region.

You can add any emulator or non emulator you like, just go to your manage emulators window and add it. Some emulators will require extra command line parameters to load directly into the game though and for that you can either look around here on the forums or check the emulators documentation to find the exact parameters you want.

Works fine here without issues, I even reset my controller automation and that worked as well.

Check Google Images, I have found lots of rom hack box art that way.
