  2. Please do not spam the forum with the same thread, give people time to respond. I deleted your other thread about this.
  3. Well 11.9 is now out of beta and any DB related issues would go here I would think: https://forums.launchbox-app.com/forum/70-contributions/
  4. @RULLUR do not post DB related stuff in the beta thread, it is the wrong place for it.
  5. Ah ok, like I said, I stay away from the DB stuff. I let others have all the joy that is dealing with it
  6. Typically problems with Mame stem from either the user not telling Mame where their roms are located (if the roms are not placed in the \mame\roms folder) or the user has an incorrect rom set for the version of Mame being used or the rom set is missing files that certain games require. HBMame is a completely different thing, it is for hacks and homebrews, it has its own rom set.
  7. I don't have anything to do with the DB but as far as my understanding goes low quality images only get accepted when there are no other images uploaded already and anything that is lower quality or incorrect gets rejected. I can't say if when newer higher quality images get submitted and accepted if the older low quality ones get removed or not.
  8. Yes, they are called playlists in Launchbox. Yes, you can add any game from any platform to a playlist. Yes, you can keep your emulators and roms where you have them. Download Launchbox and give it a try for free to see if it meets your needs and then if you like how it all functions then you can buy the license for BigBox and the other premium features.
  9. Well you can try out BizHawk, it's multi emulator like Retroarch and some people prefer the more windows like UI it has.
  10. Ok well again you aren't proving any real details here. Your refresh rate in RA maybe set wrong. RA cores don't really require that much more system resources than stand alone emulators. How old is the i3 ? What generation ? Also again you haven't given any details about looks. By default RA uses a bilinear filtering, turning that off will give clean sharp pixels.
  11. Bizhawk might be worth looking into but maybe you can provide more details on what you mean by "look so trash". Also what sort of hardware are you using ? Because RA cores can run on very low end hardware like a Raspberry Pi, maybe some of your settings are wrong. One typical problem that comes to mind is often people have a 4K display but only running at 30hz refresh rate instead of 60 and this gives the impression it is running poorly when it is not.
  12. Mames shader system is very different and in my opinion not as good as Retroarchs (in my opinion). But with some tweaking you can get a pretty good look even if it might not be to your personal tastes. I have my preset uploaded here on the forums, you may or may not like.
  13. Same way as the FBA cores. Well if you do a full set import there is an option to auto generate playlists and NeoGeo is one of them. Probably the auto generated playlists. Playlist aren't extra roms, they are simply playlists, think of them like shortcuts.
  14. There typically is not a NeoGeo specific rom set out there other than meant for the flash drive or who knows what version. It's packed in with Mame and FBA sets. Unfortunately not but you can try this older batch file, I think it was for the Split set. Are you not going to have the full Mame set imported as well ? If you did you could just use a playlist for Neo instead of spreading roms about.
  15. All the arcade games yes. Mame has a different shader system. You could use the Mame RA core if you prefer the shaders. Your roms are probably too new for the old cores, use FBAlpha if you have an up to date rom set. If you have a Non Merged Mame rom set I have a batch file that you can use to pull out a separate set.
  16. We're aware of the pre configured setup that is available on Arcade Punks and we do not provide support for it because we have no idea what they have done to it. I will leave this thread open in case someone has some input they can share in troubleshooting it.
  17. I just deleted your 3rd post of this, do it again and you will be given a temporary ban.
  18. Please do not spam the forums with the same topic. We also do not help with pre configured builds from purchased drives or downloaded from the internet. I deleted your other thread about this.
  19. In this context it was uploaded as "Fanart - Background" so by the very definition of the upload category it is literally "Fanart"
  20. Submit any feature requests to the bitbucket page https://bitbucket.org/jasondavidcarr/launchbox/issues/new any feature requests here will simply get lost in the shuffle. When Jason does his feature polls he uses the bitbucket page and picks potential features based off of votes for features.
  21. There is per core, per game and per content directory core over rides.
  22. Yeah I have never downloaded or used a Mame Software list rom set before but by the sounds of it the NES set uses a weird file extension that normal emulators don't support. And in all fairness to Mame it's non arcade emulation is generally pretty meh overall with some stand outs which are decent and Mame supports normal rom sets so their non CD based software lists are not exactly something I personally would recommend at this point in time.
