  1. That 2nd screenshot look like it's just bilinear filtering enabled. If you look in your mame.ini file for the following: # # OSD ACCELERATED VIDEO OPTIONS # filter 0 Set filter to 1 if it's set to 0.
  2. Email support@unbrokensoftware.com, they can help you out, we here on the forums cannot do anything about it.
  3. Pleasuerdome is where you can download the latest version of the Mame rom set from.
  4. This means that you are using a pirated license, if you feel this is an error you can email support@unbrokensoftware.com.
  5. Well yes you would need an emulator of course, you need an emulator for all the games that are not PC compatible. You can find the disc image with a little googling, the internet archive is a great place to start with.
  6. Well you could just the search function and look for a title, it may not be perfect because you may end up with games that contain the word of of another game but you can still narrow down a list of games to check them out.
  7. No. In your example of Arcade, NeoGeo and FBA let me put it this way. Arcade is every arcade game, FBA is an emulator, not a platform, NeoGeo is an arcade system and home console but all the games are arcade games, there are no differences in the home version of NeoGeo and arcade other than a limited continue system. In the case of regular home consoles while many games have ports across multiple systems there are many times when ports are very different games such as Aladdin and Shadowrun, both are games on the SNES and the Genesis but they are very different games and not just simple ports of the same game.
  8. If you only care about Dragons Lair and not the rest of the laser disc games then allow me to recommend the Dragons Lair Trilogy for the Wii, it has Dragons Lair 1 and 2 along with Space Ace all on a single disc. It is a much easier emulator to setup and the video quality of it is really good.

    Error

This error means that you are using a pirated license, if you feel this is not the case send an email to support@unbrokensoftware.com.

    Mame problems

Weird, I haven't touched my setup in a while but those boxes always needed to be checked.

    Mame problems

You have some boxes unchecked that should be checked.
  12. Your system is probably fast enough but it's always something to take into account. If you are having audio issues however then i'd suggest asking about it over on the Retroarch forums.
  13. This just means that after importing your games the multiple discs will be under one single entry in LB and you choose which disc to load up. As for being prompted to insert the next disk Launchbox will have zero control over this, this will be on the emulator and they all handle it differently. See t he Retroarch documention example for how to handle it with Retroarch: https://docs.libretro.com/library/flycast/#multiple-disc-games It's an example using the Flycast core for Dreamcast but all the cores and systems use the exact same method.
  14. Pleasuredome is the best place. The Mame cores with a year in the name are based on specific Mame versions, you can check their documentation page for information on which. The one without a year is (or should be) kept up to date with the latest version of Mame. Lower your audio latency, it's default is 64 ms which is 4 frames, lowering it will make it better but will require more CPU power so how low you can set it will depend on your CPU power. If you are getting audio pops or stutters then you may not have a powerful enough CPU or maybe you have some setting really messed up. Retroarch's default settings are pretty safe though unless your hardware is really underpowered.
  15. This is not the place to debate it, email support and work it out through there. Forum moderators cannot help you with license issues.
  16. No, apparently you cannot read. I asked you not to post about pricing. If you want to post beta feedback by all means please do. If you have questions about license issues then email support. Now I am done dealing with you, if you post anything not beta related I will simply delete your posts and if you still continue then you will be getting a forum vacation.
  17. No because there is no need for it.
  18. I don't know how you think I am upset, I am only responding to you and we know that the error message that was posted by the other person is because it was a pirated license, I will not go into more details on that. If you are getting an error please post the entire message you are getting so we can better help you. The price change is not a new thing at all and discussing here in this thread is pointless and clogging up the thread with actual beta feedback. Any more posts in this thread or any other posts about it will be deleted and if they continue after being deleted then temp bans will be handed out. Edit: If you have license issues then the email I posted above is the best way to resolve it, posting about it here on the forums is pointless.
  19. People who bought a lifetime license prior to the price hike still receive lifetime updates. If you wish to discuss your license issues email support@unbrokensoftware.com As it's been stated keep this thread for actual beta feedback.
  20. And how many pieces of software offers lifetime upgrades at that price ? Not too many. It's a niche market product which always commands a higher than normal price compared to a product aimed at a mass market. Also, no one is twisting anyones arm to buy and use Launchbox, there are free options out there for those that cannot or choose to not afford it.
  21. My first guess is your cabinet PC doesn't support the shaders.
  22. It's just a repurposed Amiga 500 running AmigaOS 1.3 so it's not like it has it's own unique library.
  23. It appears you are using a pirated license. you can resolve this by purchasing a legitimate license from the website. If you believe that this is an error then you can contact support@unbrokensoftware.com with your information and they will help you resolve this.
  24. 1. You want your cue + bin files together and import the cue files. 2. We can't link them but if they work then you are fine. 3. Depends on the emulator, each has their own location of where they want them to be. Check the documentation of the emulator for details.
  25. Hyperspin is much older and free so that is why you see so much more of it out there. Users can make plugins to add functionality if they wish.
