  1. Unfortunately this means you are using a pirated license that has been shared around the internet. If you feel this is a mistake on our end email support@unbrokensoftware.com and they will sort you out if there was a mistake. If not then you can purchase a legit license and just drop it into your Launchbox folder and everything will function properly again for you.
  2. More ram will certainly help when you import more games. Launchbox does use up a fair bit of ram because it does load all the game images and data into ram for smoother performance. 8 gigs of ram is definitely considered the minimum this day and age and 16 is recommended.
  3. Simplest method: Select Platform from the top left and then All, type a word or two for the series of games you want. I used Mario for example. Select all the games by pressing Control + A which is a universal keyboard shortcut in Windows, then right click any game and Add to Playlist > New Playlist Set a name for the playlist in the Details tab In the Parents tab set a parent category if you want it nested under an existing one Now select Playlists (or the category you set for your playlist) from the top left drop down menu to confirm your play list has been created Hopefully this helps you out but there is no simple "Launchbox generate all the series playlists for everything button".
  4. The Youtube channel is the best place to look or hit us up either here on the forums or on the discord channel: https://discord.gg/AFxfhnv
  5. Can you post a screenshot of your Retroarch Manage Platforms screen, specifically the entry for Arcade ?
  6. You can request a refund if you are unhappy, email support@unbrokensoftware.com
  7. Add the platform to the list at the bottom of that window you have shown.
  8. This section is for Launchbox questions. Please do not post general emulation related questions in this section of the forums. Post emulation related questions here: https://forums.launchbox-app.com/forum/75-emulation/
  9. Have you added the emulator to LB using the Manage Emulators tool ?
  10. lol, nothing, im just glad it works for you
  11. Ok I just spent some time with this to figure it out and hopefully this works for you. First off, run Mame via the command line with the -v parameter, mame64 -v don't load any games, then close out Mame and have a look at your command line window. You should see something that looks like this: Now go to your mame.ini file and look for the # OSD PER-WINDOW VIDEO OPTIONS section, set your screen to the display you want your Mame to output to, for me it was \\.\DISPLAY2 This launched Mame on my 2nd monitor.
  12. Yeah, there aren't many vertical themes. The issue from what I remember was how "overly protective" to put it nicely the whole video pinball scene people are over the media so adding that stuff to the DB for scraping would be a major issue.
  13. From what I recall and could be wrong there was more pinball support planned but then the absolute toxic shitshow that is the "video pinball" community Jason decided against it. If my memory is correct it had to do with the media importing.
  14. Did you update your Mame ? My first guess is that is what you did and you now have a version of Mame that is incompatible with your rom set version and it broke your NeoGeo games because at some point they did an update and now the NeoGeo games require an updated bios.
  15. A Non-Merged set would work too but you won't get all the clones but you will get a fully working set since each zip file is a fully functioning game file.
  16. Yeah, the export rom feature is not meant to be used with Mame, though it would work with a Merged set.
  17. Not exactly up to date but here's the one I have. Looks like it's from May looking at the date of the file. higan_sfc_libretro.dll
  18. Ok so you are using an Nvidia graphics card so there shouldn't be an issue there with OpenGL or anything. I have 2 PCs, one with a 970 and the other has a 1080Ti and no issues with HLSL shaders. The bilinear filtering should be on by default out of the box but it's not something I like so I use my own HLSL shader settings.
  19. Those are for GLSL shaders and not something anyone should be using at this point in time, HLSL or BGFX are far superior if you want to use those shaders and of those two I only suggest HLSL. What graphics card or chipset do you have in your PC ?
  20. Then I don't know what to tell you, with that enabled you shouldn't be seeing a clean crisp pixel image.
