  1. Yes, BigBox uses all of the same database and paths as Launchbox, it's just a different UI.
  2. The associated platform name has to match the actual platform name you imported your roms to.
  3. No, it runs well on a modest PC as just fine. The GPD Win 2 is a very low powered device with extremely poor integrated graphics.

Yeah, no question it paved the way for front ends to come so it deserves the respect and credit of the emulation and front end community.
  5. You can edit the details panel to rearrange things. You will need to make a copy of your \LBThemes\Default folder, rename it and then you can edit the files. Once that is done you can then select the theme in the LB Options.
  6. Mames emulation of non arcade games is like any other emulators out there, compatibility can and does vary from system to system. Maybe the the 2600 emulator in Mame just isn't very compatible, I don't know for sure though, I only use Stella. I do use Mame for Colecovision and occasionally other systems and it works fine. Edit: I Just tried some homebrew 2600 games in Mame and it depends on the game which ones work and don't. Some 2600 homebrews have special chips in them and you either need to run them off of a Harmony cart for real hardware or Stella 5.0 or 6.0 because those versions support those special chips.
  7. I just messed around with it and neither the cmd or the m3u method works with Last Batallion for whatever reason. At first I thought maybe the cmd or m3u method got broken but that still works for other games so it's not that. I did get the game to work by loading disk 1 and then using the disk swap feature in Retroarch to swap to disk 2.
  8. The easiest way to update from such an old set is to just get the whole new latest set.
  9. Please use the Request A Feature link at the top of the page under Help & Support button to suggest new features or improvements to current ones.
  10. Setup a 2nd instance of Mame in LB, you want different boxes unchecked for non arcade stuff, uncheck dont use quotes and use file name only.
  11. You also have Retroarch set to Windowed Fullescreen Mode, turn that off.
  12. Take a look at this thread here, it's a bit of a read but it covers a lot of stuff for it. I know the thread started out as a MESS / Mame thread but it evolved into a Retroarch one once that core came out.
  13. I don't see anything in the 210 update log about NeoGeo changes so there shouldn't any need to update the roms for it. The only mention of NeoGeo is for the NeoGeo CD. Are your NeoGeo games in their own platform and did you change your emulator entry breaking it ?
  14. Right click and edit the game and then search for media for it, WrestleMania should have media for it.
  15. Did you turn on hide games with missing media by any chance ?
  16. If someone bought a console just because of achievements then that is just ridiculous to me. Buy the system for the games you want to play and if it has achievements and you care about that then great, it's a nice nice bonus, not the main feature.
  17. I really don't believe it was a selling feature but I do know people like them.
  18. Unfortunately I can't help you with that stuff since I have never played those games and I don't have them to test them out.
  19. It's not that it would never be implemented, it would just be done when the API gets the stuff required to do it. Yes, Jason has and back when he did they told him they would do what was needed but I guess that got put on the back burner for them. Jason put the achievement stuff in the last poll with the expectation / hope that the API would be expanded upon.
  20. Import times vary based on internet speed, connection to the server from your country and what media you selected to download.
  21. NeoGeo, CPS1, CPS2 can all use the same core, Mame and FBAlpha (or now known as FBNeo) will run all those games. Now if you do need to set up a specific game to use a particular core you can use the custom command line for that game, below is an example.Another option if you have a bunch of games and don't want to edit the command line for each game is to set up a new instance of the emulator in LB (it can still point to the old install so no new install of the emulator is required). You set that instance up to use the core you want and then you can just change the emulator being used for each game.
  22. Yes it works, I imported some stuff last night just fine.
